About: Ever since I can remember, myself as well as my family have loved and enjoyed dogs and they have always been a part of our family. I got my first puppy when I was 12 years old. She was a rescue and I had her until I was 26 years old. Her name was Molly. We had many other dogs during that time. My sister's and I were who cared for them all. Although this is my first time running a business caring for dogs, I have taken care of dogs most of my life. Some people call themselves a "people person". I call myself a "dog person". I have always had a natural ability to connect with dogs. Dogs have always loved being with me. I care for them as if they were a child of mine. My last two rescue dogs (American Pit Bull Terriers) made it to almost 13 years old before they crossed the rainbow bridge over the last few years. About: I recently took a break from dog sitting to focus on caring for my baby. Now that things have settled into a routine, I'm excited to start accepting bookings again! I have 6+ years dog-sitting experience with dogs of many different sizes and temperaments. Personally I have a 85 pound German Shepherd mix, Turbo, a 40 pound labradoodle, Maple, and an 80 pound Rottie/GSD mix named Tater. I haven’t had a pet escape or get lost on my watch yet, and I don’t plan to start now. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. I live an active lifestyle and love going for runs in the Hollywood hills up away from cars, however when it comes to my clients pups, I always follow instructions for what they prefer. I have experience with all sorts of pups and would love to have your pup in the pack. While we are at my place, I go outside every hour / two for pee breaks. About: I absolutely love dogs. My families dog passed away last year, and while I can’t take on a dog of my own I would love to help care for yours! My family had a chihuahua, but my extended family has had doodles, mixed breeds, beagles, and I have cared for friends larger mixed breeds, boxers, and even little weenie dogs! About: I have taken care of animals of all kinds since a young age. I grew in a home with cats, and later dogs were introduced. However, outside of the home life I was surrounded by dogs! The daycare I attended had an in-home grooming service, and I got to help groom the 13 dogs that lived there! Finally to the good stuff; I’ve been a reliable dog/house sitter for the same couple for the last 5 years. In the span of those 5 years, they moved 3 houses, and so I got to experience first hand how upset the pups can get when their environment is changed. Some of the basic duties include feeding and making sure they have water, making sure they’re going to the bathroom regularly, being walked and played with regularly and cleaning up messes. Some additional tasks are taking them to their vet visits and administering medication (pill-form)! My availability is pretty flexible! I’m a full time student, so I currently am not working. About: I am new to Rover but not new to pet or house sitting in general. I have sat dogs and cats while family and friends have gone on extended vacations. I am fully background checked (teacher by trade). I love to go on walks and am great with consistency/expectations if your dog is in a training program. I am a teacher who is off for the summer with no vacation plans! I can dedicate a lot of time to checking on your cat or taking care of your dog. Dogs will have the run of the downstairs and opportunities for backyard play during the day but will be expected to stay crated/in pen at night. Feedings happen on the schedule you provide and dogs will get at least two walks a day. Doggos will be treated like they belong in my house. If interested in drop ins for cat care, I will play with your cat, provide pets and head scritches, check on food and water, and remove litter box waste. It is important to me that your pets feel safe and that their routine isn’t disrupted too much. So a meet and greet for us to both feel comfortable about your pet’s care is a must!
