About: I truly enjoying caring for and spending time with dogs. I know how scary it is to leave them with someone you don’t know, but I promise to take care of them like you would. Dogs need a set schedule and need to feel as comfortable as possible when away from their owners, and I plan to do my absolute best at making them feel right at home! Whether it’s tv time and cuddling at night, long walks in the morning and evening, or a set feeding time, I can provide that for them. I enjoying working out and can provide your dog with runs as well. I have cared for dogs and cats that are blind, handicapped, and on medications (oral/needle). I love all animals no matter what extra help or attention they need. I look forward to meeting your furry best friend! I do have a job and do accept bookings in between my job! Despite this, I am home full time during the weekends, holidays and summers. I also come home for let outs during the work week at lunch time so that your furry friend can receive the exercise and potty breaks they deserve! 😊 Pets are treated with as much love and care as you provide at home. If your pup is a runner, we take precautions and exit through the garage instead. Is your pup is easily stressed? No worries. We work to provide 1:1 time and calm environments (+ extra treats😉)to ease their stay. Got a pup who likes to dig out of fences? No big deal, they do not stay outside unattended and will be supervised when outside at all times.
About: My name is Elizabeth, I have been in Veterinary medicine for 16yrs. I am pet Mom of 5 of my own furry kids. I am currently a veterinary receptionist; I have stepped out of the technician position and just fill in as needed. I have a number of family's that I sit for regularly that are not through Rover. I am interested in finding other sweet babies to care for and keep your mind at ease that your baby is safe and loved while you are away. About my Furry Family: I have a senior calico cat, 2 guinea pigs, and 2 large breed pittie/mixies. Our sweet kitty is in renal failure and has a neurological condition, one of our pups is a "Problem Child" with health concerns and allergies, our 2nd pup is just strong willed as well as having a high prey drive, and the guinea pigs are always so SQUEAKING happy to see me provided I come bearing food. I currently give 2 injections in house between our crew, we also keep all animals separated due to personality quirks, and we stay vigilant to keep everyone medications, separate foods, ect on the correct track. What that means: I hope that after explaining my own wild household, you don't think I run a zoo. What this means is that I am happy to be as accommodatable as possible! It is so hard to find someone trustworthy with your loved ones, especially when they each have their own special needs. I personally have struggled to find the right fit in a pet sitter for my own, due to the special needs we have in our home. I would love to help someone that may be in the same position that I have been in so many times. Feel free to ask me any questions and make any special requests. I look forward to meeting you, and my new friends! Just as an idea of schedule on the 2-3 days a week that I work Wed-Friday,my work schedule with is typically before 7:30am, 1-2pm lunch, and pm visits after 7:00pm. On my off days I'm more flexible to keep your normal schedule. I'm also available for later night visits. I work part time at a local clinic at the moment. I am able to usually visit am early, midday, and pm. I'm happy to work with your routines and keep the kids on schedule! I have vet tech experience and I also have a reactive dog myself, My cat is in renal failure, and I gave an allergy dog. I'm not new with meds, special food, or different training tools

“Suzy was great!! She responded quickly, was great with our pup, and was even willing to meet us beforehand so we were comfortable with her and knew that our dog was comfortable with her before the walk! We’lldefinitely Rebook her when we need a walker in the future!”

About: I am a certified service animal trainer with hands-on experience raising, handling, and training a service dog full-time from 8 weeks to 9 months old. During that time, I focused on obedience training, socialization, public access skills, daily care, and building strong positive behaviors in a variety of environments. This experience taught me patience, consistency, and how to confidently care for dogs with different needs and personalities. I am passionate about providing attentive, loving, and reliable care to every pet as if they were my own. As a college student home for the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and am available any time throughout the week for pet care needs. Caring for animals easily fits into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and have experience maintaining structured schedules for feeding, walks, playtime, and training. Whether your pet needs early morning care, midday visits, or evening walks. I’m dependable, responsive, and happy to accommodate different schedules. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on making pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while keeping their normal routine consistent. During drop-in visits, I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, get plenty of attention and playtime, and receive any needed potty breaks or exercise, all per your instructions. For dog walks, I prioritize safety, patience, and positive interactions while making sure each dog gets the exercise and enrichment they need. With my background in service dog training and handling, I’m comfortable working with different temperaments and reinforcing good behaviors during visits and walks.
“Took excellent care of my pup, we weren’t able to do a meet and greet due to weather, but Jennifer was still able to come, easily found my place, and quickly made friends with my pup who is sometimes shy. He took to Jennifer instantly, and they had a great few walks, will definitely be booking again. 5 Stars!”

About: I’ve been pet-sitting since I was a kid (for a wide range of breeds and species) and I love spending time with animals. Your babies are in good hands with me, and I will treat them like my own spoiled fur-children. I have a hybrid work schedule and can be available to come to your home most days of the week. My weekends are (usually) wide open! I know that when you hire a pet sitter, you’re also hiring a house sitter. I will treat your home like my own and keep an eye on things while you’re away. I believe in trying to stick to your pet’s routine as much as possible whole you’re away since it makes things easier on everyone!

I’m flexible with dates and times needed and also open to last minute needs if something unexpected were to come up. I have cared for both puppies and adult dogs. Both male and female. The most important thing to me is making sure both you and your pet feel safe when in my care and trust that your dog is getting the best care possible while you’re away. Im open to any special request when it comes to your pet while in my care and I can ensure your pets safety at all times. Thank you for your time. Hope to hear from you soon.
About: I can't wait to meet your furry loved one! I absolutely love spending time with animals, especially dogs and cats. After losing our first born 'child,' a pit bull mix named Bella, I was finally able to adopt again in May 2019. Shelby is a blue heeler mix, and she loves playing with other dogs. My husband and three young kids also share my love of dogs. If you choose to allow your dog to stay at my house, it will be spoiled and snuggled and treated like a king or queen! We do have 2 cats, but they always hide out upstairs when we have doggy guests. You are welcome to come and meet us first if you are interested in my service. I look forward to working with you!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old- I love playing chase, fetch, and tug, as well as cuddling and giving scratches with my acrylic nails. I adopted my black lab mix four years ago, and she is my world! I’m currently working part time as a therapist some in the afternoons and evenings, so my mornings and afternoons are generally free and available to help. My flexible schedule is great for fitting in play times, walks, or cuddles! I have a massive fenced in yard and a pup of my own who loves to run and play. My dog is a runner, so I like to train and practice door manners with any dog I care for. Consistency is important, so I’d love to follow any house rules that you might have in place for your pups!
About: My beloved shih tzu passed recently after long and adventurous 14 years. I've had him since he was 8 weeks old, so I’m very well familiar with puppy stage as well as senior years. I was very attached to my doggie and know a lot about small breed needs and temperament. I’m also available to care for medium size dogs on case by case basis. Please, contact me for more information. I work from home full time and can give your pet plenty of attention, exercise and potty breaks. We always have someone at home, so your pet would always have company. I strive to provide the same care your pet would get at home. As a small dog owner I struggled to find a good sitter for my Shih Tzu, so I want to be that one person you can trust with your pet. I never book multiple families at the same time, so your pet will have all of my attention and care. I have a large house and a few acres of land to run around and have fun. We do not have any other pets right now, but we do have 2 small children who are gentle and great with animals.
About: Dogs have been the light and joy of my life since I was born, but when I was 10 I finally got a dog to call my own! After our family dog had puppies and refused to nurse, I spent countless days and nights bottle feeding her litter until I proved to my parents I could keep one for myself. After that, I potty trained, socialized, played with, and took that puppy on walks all by myself. Since then she’s unfortunately passed over the rainbow bridge, but friends and family constantly entrust the care of their dogs to me while they’re away! I’ve spent a lot of time with all breeds of dogs, ranging from puppies to senior dogs with dementia, and I love them and care for them all like they’re my own. I’m currently a paraprofessional for the SPED department of an elementary school, but I’m hoping to spend the summer caring for your fur-babies! School starts back up August 4, so until then I’ll be completely free to tend to any and all of your baby’s needs day and night. When it comes to caring for your babies in their own homes, I know there are two different levels of trust that need to be earned: trusting someone with your pets and trusting someone in your home. I take both responsibilities very seriously. I am more than willing and capable of adhering to any rules, routines, or special instructions you may have, and I will do my best to keep your pets on the schedule they know and love. Whether that means feeding times, medication administration, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, or simply providing companionship, I am committed to making their time without you as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I have my own reliable transportation and can arrive on time for scheduled visits, check-ins, or overnight stays. I will also keep you updated with messages, photos, and videos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Above all, I treat every animal as if they were my own, ensuring they are safe, loved, and well cared for in the environment where they feel most secure—their home. My goal is for you to return to happy pets, a well-maintained home, and complete confidence in the care they received.

Respectful sitter that understands your pet is your fur baby. Happy to provide updates and photos throughout sit for peace of mind. Your fur baby is in good hands!

About: I’m a lifelong pet lover with hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs of all personalities and needs. During college, I volunteered for four years at a cat sanctuary, where I helped with daily feeding routines, administering medications, monitoring health, and socializing them to prepare for adoption. Whether your pet needs playtime, meds, or just a calm presence while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved. I’m currently spending most of my time studying for med school applications, so I have a flexible schedule and can plan my days around feedings, check-ins, and quality time. I’m very used to sticking to routines and making sure pets get consistent, reliable care. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining a familiar environment by providing timely feedings, fresh water, medication as needed, litter box maintenance, and attentive observation of behavior or health changes. I also make sure pets receive appropriate playtime, enrichment, and calm companionship. My experience volunteering at a cat sanctuary has taught me to be patient, detail-oriented, and responsive to each pet’s individual needs.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
