“Anna is fantastic! She’s responds quickly to last minute requests, asks thoughtful questions for smooth visits and our high maintenance dogs absolutely love her! And so do we!”

“Lisa was so great! She watched my Guinea pigs and mouse while I was away on a camping trip. My pets are my babies, I love them so much, and I felt very comfortable with her watching them. She was incredibly professional and kind, and answered all my questions regarding how the girls are doing. She went out of her way to meet with me twice before watching my girls. I would recommend her 100% and would ask her to watch my babies again in the future! Thank you so much Lisa!”

“Another wonderful experience with Solace and my pup, JoJo! Above and beyond communication, care and attention. I suggested my Airbnb host recommend her to all visiting guests looking for drop in pet care!”

“Valerie was wonderful and took such great care of my kitty! The communication was clear and consistent. She always responded quickly to any messages I sent or inquiries I had. She sent a lot of photos and treated my girl so well! I highly recommend Valerie for everyone.”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life, and am currently a dog mom to my wonderful fur baby. Throughout the years I have been entrusted to go to peoples houses and care for their dogs, take care of dogs in my own home, and have even been entrusted to care for newborn puppies until they were old enough to go to their homes. I have a special place in my heart for dogs, and I absolutely love any opportunity to meet all kinds of new furry friends and personalities!
About: I have been caring for my own animals for 15 years and have been doing so professionally for 6 years. I have experience with a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, fish, and birds. I am currently on summer break from my job as a teacher, so I have plenty of availability to care for pets throughout the work week. I put my client and their pets' needs first. Their comfort and safety are of upmost importance to me. I follow all directions given to ensure that all animals are cared for properly.
About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 10-15 hours a week. I always receive my schedule at least a week in advance, so I just need time to plan around that. Otherwise, I’m a fairly open schedule! I have experience with crating dogs and giving them daily medicines if needed, or any unique care. If there is ever at all an emergency situation, I will call you immediately while also taking your dog to the vet.
About: Me and my wife live in Bremerton with 1 cat. I am currently in school and am very flexible beacon it. I grew up with multiple dogs and cats as a kid. I’m just looking to hangout with some animals and make a little cash on the side while in school. I have a cat who has a constant feeding schedule so adding another animal wouldn’t be too hard. I love to hangout outside when possible in Washington so there will be a lot of playtime My cat is my life. I understand the attachment people have to their animals because I love my cat. I’d like to provide the same loving environment that I give my cat to any other animal.
About: I have taken care of pets since I was 17. I enjoy taking the dogs on walks or to play in at the park. I have experience with all size fur babys. 😊 I currently do not own any pets. I adapt to your preference for the care of your pet, I have a nearby area to take him for a walk and play. At the moment I don't have my own pet but I will take care of yours as my own.
“Tabutha was so wonderful! She is great with communication and has full attention to detail. She is wonderful with the pups and I am so happy I found her! Thank you so much Tabutha!”

About: I provide an outstanding level of care for your furry family members. I have been able to personally own and take care of a wide variety of pets, from large German Shepherds to small Pomeranians to cats and even lizards and snakes. I currently have a big fluffy Bernese mountain dog who will be turning 3 in October. I love working with owners to ensure that their pet is treated just like they would be at home. I will provide an outstanding level of care and attention for your family and look forward to working with you! I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to get plenty of time in with my own pup each day, and let’s me watch additional pets during the week. Weekends can often be busy, but if planned ahead of time we can watch a furry friend then too. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised play and potty time. I also own additional bowls, and a full sized crate if needed. A block and a half down the street is a mostly fenced park I take my pup to play in as well if more space is needed. The neighborhood is great for walks, but does have several hills which can be difficult for older, larger dogs. My dog only needs about 30 min a day of play-time, but if yours needs more we can plan for that too.
About: I have dog sat for a handful of people over the years. Some new clients and some faithful returning ones that become family friends. Some have needed medication and lots of walks, some just needed a friend, I love doing anything/everything. I do not currently own any pets and would love to be outside and more active. I would be available to do walks/drop ins around 3:30pm-9pm Monday-Thursday and most times Fridays-Sundays. Dog sitting availability depends on needs and pet schedule but please reach out about anything! I have worked with crates, dog doors, or dogs being inside all day and need walks/potty breaks. I hope we can work something out between us and your loved fur baby.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hite Center. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
