She was very flexible with regards to times and always responded quickly to our texts. Each time she dropped in to check on Bear, we'd not only receive 8 pictures, but a nice summary of the visit, how much he ate and drank, what they did, and the general state in the house, including checking to make sure his litter box was clean. I'm really impressed by how thorough Solace was with each check-in, and we really appreciated the detailed summaries of each visit. Furthermore, on our way home, we had a small panic when we believed that Bear had been trapped in a room. When we asked Solace to check on him for us, she responded immediately that she would do so as soon as she could. That's definitely going above and beyond for us, and we couldn't thank her enough. I highly recommend Solace for any pet-sitting service you need.”

About: I have taken care of my own pets (two cats and a dog), as well as those of my friends and neighbors since I was a child. I am experienced with reactive and anxious dogs, and am experienced in administering medication. I can take your dog on long walks (5+ miles) and hikes if that’s their thing. I will always give your pets the same care and affection I give my own! My work schedule is extremely flexible. Most of my work obligations are mid-morning, and the rest of my day/evening is free. I walk several miles per day on my own, and would love to bring your dog along with me. I will show your pet the same love and affection I give to my own pets. Your pet’s wellbeing and happiness are my top priority, and I will adjust my services to fit their individual needs.

“Amanda is always amazing! She has checked on my cats and chickens for me two or three times now, and she never disappoints! Her updates are thorough, she shares adorable pictures of my babies, and even feeds snacks to the chickens sometimes. They are used to our kitchen scraps on a daily basis, so I'm sure they really apperciate the snacks she gives while we are gone. 😊 The cats love her and love her attention. She hangs out the full half hour to give them the love they crave while we are gone. I couldn't apperciate her more!”

About: I've always been a pet owner since I was a little kid. Cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, you name it. I've had my own cat, Sebastian with me for the past 5 years :) Happy to watch any other furry friends! I am free all weekdays and work from home so I am always here to give your furry friends lots of attention and walks when needed. I have lots of toys and treats in the house and live in a safe and friendly neighborhood with lots of parks and grassy areas for walks with dogs. There is also a cat in the home for them to play with :)

“Bailey was excellent! I tend to leave very specific instructions, and Bailey followed them to a tee! My feeders have a light that indicates that they’re working properly and I said “bonus points if the rover pic has the lights on” and every single rover card had a picture with the lights on!! Really allows me to feel like my cats are in good hands when I leave. Also this was a very last-minute trip and Bailey was fast to respond, and available for key pick up before I left. 5/5 for sure!”

About: I have a flexible schedule that can work around your needs. I have experience with several different dog breeds and have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I have a very flexible schedule and I can shape my schedule around the needs of you and your dog and give them the time and attention they need. I have a fenced in yard where they will be free to roam, along with abundant room inside where they will receive lots of care and attention. Will support crate or free sleepers depending on your preference and the dogs needs.

About: I take care of our three dog, i make sure they have water and they are walked and they are clean, i also watched a puppy for a friend for a week and a half I love hanging out with any animal, they are so cute and cuddly, i couldn't imagine my life without any animals, they are a part of me I like to watch at the clients home, but if they need the dog out for the day i can take them to a dog park or if they don't get along with other dogs we can go to a park somewhere away

About: Growing up I always had at least one cat who I was responsible for taking care of. I loved animals so much as a child that I volunteered as a dog walker for my local shelter. Currently, I live with and take care of 5 cats. Having pets myself, I understand the anxiety one feels when leaving their furry friends for any extended amount of time and I will strive to provide the same level of care I would expect of someone caring for my own animals. I am currently a full-time student and work part-time (currently Monday-Thursday 4pm-7pm). I have full weekend availability and pretty flexible scheduling for daily check-ins/walks as well as over night sitting. My goal is to give you and your pet a low anxiety experience while you are away. I will make sure to send updates and pictures of your pets daily.
