“When a child (dog) care emergency popped up at the last minute, I re-downloaded the Rover app, desperately hoping to find someone willing to do a drop-in visit on such short notice. Solace was the first Rover I saw listed in my area, and she coincidentally also had a ton of five-star reviews. I sent her a message and she responded quickly and was able to schedule two visits per day for two days. We didn't have enough time to squeeze in a meet-and-greet (like I said, short notice), so instead she sent me a thoughtfully laid out questionnaire to make the visit as smooth as possible. She followed our instructions flawlessly and was so good to our dogs, we couldn’t have asked for someone better! She truly is an animal lover! This is my first Rover experience, and she set the bar extremely high, tippy-top if you will. While I don’t wish for another emergency to pop up, I do hope that we get to work with Solace again in the future, she’s truly a hidden gem.”

About: I have taken care of my own pets (two cats and a dog), as well as those of my friends and neighbors since I was a child. I am experienced with reactive and anxious dogs, and am experienced in administering medication. I can take your dog on long walks (5+ miles) and hikes if that’s their thing. I will always give your pets the same care and affection I give my own! My work schedule is extremely flexible. Most of my work obligations are mid-morning, and the rest of my day/evening is free. I walk several miles per day on my own, and would love to bring your dog along with me. I will show your pet the same love and affection I give to my own pets. Your pet’s wellbeing and happiness are my top priority, and I will adjust my services to fit their individual needs.

About: I've always been a pet owner since I was a little kid. Cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, you name it. I've had my own cat, Sebastian with me for the past 5 years :) Happy to watch any other furry friends! I am free all weekdays and work from home so I am always here to give your furry friends lots of attention and walks when needed. I have lots of toys and treats in the house and live in a safe and friendly neighborhood with lots of parks and grassy areas for walks with dogs. There is also a cat in the home for them to play with :)

About: Growing up I always had at least one cat who I was responsible for taking care of. I loved animals so much as a child that I volunteered as a dog walker for my local shelter. Currently, I live with and take care of 5 cats. Having pets myself, I understand the anxiety one feels when leaving their furry friends for any extended amount of time and I will strive to provide the same level of care I would expect of someone caring for my own animals. I am currently a full-time student and work part-time (currently Monday-Thursday 4pm-7pm). I have full weekend availability and pretty flexible scheduling for daily check-ins/walks as well as over night sitting. My goal is to give you and your pet a low anxiety experience while you are away. I will make sure to send updates and pictures of your pets daily.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 10-15 hours a week. I always receive my schedule at least a week in advance, so I just need time to plan around that. Otherwise, I’m a fairly open schedule! I have experience with crating dogs and giving them daily medicines if needed, or any unique care. If there is ever at all an emergency situation, I will call you immediately while also taking your dog to the vet.

About: I have a flexible schedule that can work around your needs. I have experience with several different dog breeds and have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I have a very flexible schedule and I can shape my schedule around the needs of you and your dog and give them the time and attention they need. I have a fenced in yard where they will be free to roam, along with abundant room inside where they will receive lots of care and attention. Will support crate or free sleepers depending on your preference and the dogs needs.

About: I have a lifelong passion for animals, especially dogs, having grown up surrounded by them. In addition to raising family pets, I've cherished my Australian shepherd, Olly, for 7 years, and when I met my now husband he brought a wonderful border Collie mix, 3 years ago, but has owned him for 8 years. We've filled their lives with love through daily walks, outdoor adventures like hiking and camping, and endless exploration. Olly I trained from a puppy and Hank was adopted at 3 and at 11 now he is still learning new tricks! Throughout caring for Olly and Hank, I've also opened our home to friends' pets, treating them with the same affection and care. I'm excited to extend this love and commitment to your dogs, whether through dog walking, drop-ins, or boarding! I work in the office two days a week, but otherwise I work from home! So two of the days maybe longer time before getting let out. We love first and foremost, so that they feel welcomed. We will read their energy to make sure they feel calm and not stressed when they are here. We will provide great exercise and loads of cuddles.

Padme' is not the easiest to handle, but Adam did it with ease and had no issues at all; and she's not necessarily low maintenance, which is another hurdle Adam was able to tackle. When we go on vacation in the future, Adam will be our number one option!”
