“Jennifer is great and our dogs loved her from the first meeting! She is great with communication, sending pics of our dogs and very loving with our doodles! Thanks so much Jennifer! Timber and Sperry already miss you!”

“Bailey was excellent! I tend to leave very specific instructions, and Bailey followed them to a tee! My feeders have a light that indicates that they’re working properly and I said “bonus points if the rover pic has the lights on” and every single rover card had a picture with the lights on!! Really allows me to feel like my cats are in good hands when I leave. Also this was a very last-minute trip and Bailey was fast to respond, and available for key pick up before I left. 5/5 for sure!”
“I'm very happy that I found Hailey & Joshua. They took great care of my shy, rescue kitty, making her feel comfortable while I was away on a long vacation. They provided excellent communication every step of the way, exceeding all of my expectations. I would absolutely rebook them again.”

“Kimberly took great care of my shy cat, Lola, making sure she was okay and giving her treats. She also went above and beyond with extra help around the house — refilling food and water, changing the litter, and even resetting my robot vacuum when it got stuck. Highly recommend!”

“Nicole did an excellent job taking care of my little chickens. She was easy to communicate with and flexible. She even kept the coop clean and tidy and spent time with my chicks. I will definitely use her again.”

“Anna is wonderful! She’s an open and clear communicator — which has been really helpful as my work schedule keeps changing. And most importantly, our slightly high maintenance dogs love her.”

“Valerie genuinely cares about the pets they watch over. Valerie sends detailed report cards and sweet images of our furry pal that provide reassurance when we’re away. Highly recommended:)”

“Sophia came in clutch! Our other sitter got sick and couldn't make it while we were out of town. I sent her a message and she replied within 15 min. I sent pictures with instructions. She asked follow up questions to make sure our animals got the best care! 10/10 would recommend!! Will be using again!”

“Once again, Lisa provided has exceeded our pet care expectations. Lisa takes the time with each visit to ensure our two indoor kitties are well taken care of. What's best about her visits is that Lisa takes the time to bond and connect with each one. With each visit, Lisa is sure to keep in touch with updates and photos of our kitties, DJ and Olive! While the two were happy to see us upon return from the week long trip, they were relaxed and not anxious at all. Thanks again Lisa, your the best!”

“Amy checked in on our two dogs while we had a late night out. She was wonderful, and was even flexible with a last minute time change. Glad to trust someone with our dogs.”

“Our pups took to Olivia during the meet and greet, before we even finalized her services. She’s extremely kind and very thoughtful about learning how to care for your pups individual needs. We felt extremely comfortable with Olivia and could tell our pups were too. We absolutely loved the photos that were shared with us during her drop-in visit and could see how happy they were to have her give them some midday attention. Highly recommend Olivia and plan on requesting her services again in the near future. Thanks, Olivia!”

“Brenda is incredible! I needed to be away for the weekend, and my teens as well, and I had never used Rover before. I found the perfect person. She loved and took care of our three dogs, not only tending to food/water/play but she also really took time to get to know and enjoy them. I definitely recommend Brenda and will re-hire her again, for sure.”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 10-15 hours a week. I always receive my schedule at least a week in advance, so I just need time to plan around that. Otherwise, I’m a fairly open schedule! I have experience with crating dogs and giving them daily medicines if needed, or any unique care. If there is ever at all an emergency situation, I will call you immediately while also taking your dog to the vet.
About: I've always been a pet owner since I was a little kid. Cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, you name it. I've had my own cat, Sebastian with me for the past 5 years :) Happy to watch any other furry friends! I am free all weekdays and work from home so I am always here to give your furry friends lots of attention and walks when needed. I have lots of toys and treats in the house and live in a safe and friendly neighborhood with lots of parks and grassy areas for walks with dogs. There is also a cat in the home for them to play with :)

“Amanda is always amazing! She has checked on my cats and chickens for me two or three times now, and she never disappoints! Her updates are thorough, she shares adorable pictures of my babies, and even feeds snacks to the chickens sometimes. They are used to our kitchen scraps on a daily basis, so I'm sure they really apperciate the snacks she gives while we are gone. 😊 The cats love her and love her attention. She hangs out the full half hour to give them the love they crave while we are gone. I couldn't apperciate her more!”
“Emma was one of the sweetest people I’ve met on Rover. She is very kind hearted and loved to spend time with my dogs. I could definitely trust her being in my home, and I plan to continue her services in the future. Highly recommend Emma !!!”

“Tabutha is wonderful! Her attention to detail is fantastic. I can tell she truly cares about our pups. Giving them lots of lives. She even brushed my older dog for us because he is shedding quite a bit right now with the warmer weather. She notices the little things and takes it upon her self to help without asking.❤️”

As of August 2026, there are 5,514 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Lawters Beach. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lawters Beach. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
