“Sophia is wonderful! Whittaker loves walking with her. She’s timely in her communication and follows our instructions. Even when we had to change plans for a schedule change and instructions later due to Whittaker having an injury she was flexible and willing to accommodate.”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 20 hours a week. I work mostly night shifts from 4:30pm to 9:30pm, unless it’s a Sunday. Then I’ll work 10am-3pm. My shifts are always 5 hours, I usually work on the weekends and a few times on the weekdays. I always receive my schedule 2 weeks in advance, so I just need time to plan around that! I have experience with crating dogs and giving them daily medicines if needed, or any unique care. If there is ever at all an emergency situation, I will call you immediately while also taking your dog to the vet.

About: I’ve fostered dogs with the company Animal pad in San Diego, I adopted one of those dogs and I volunteer for the Kitsap humane society. I’m recently out of the Navy and about to start school. Looking for short term income where I can have a flexible schedule on the new journey in my life. I will make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you are away and send plenty of cute pictures so you know they are cared for so you can enjoy your time.
“We have utilized Clarissa's services (both walks and drop ins) several times now. We foster dogs and have a dog of our own, so she doesn't always know what she is getting into. Both our resident dog and the two fosters pups we've had have seemed to enjoy the midday visits and are always very happy. Her communication is on-point and she is both professional and very down-to-earth.”

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. I don’t have pets currently, but I’ve grown up caring for family and friends’ dogs and I’m comfortable with most breeds, prioritizing calm, safe, attentive care.
About: I’ve always been a lover of animals big and small! I’ve been in the pet sitting business for the past 4 years. I know how important it is for pet parents to feel like their fur babies are in safe hands and with me they are. I am currently a substitute teacher and have a pretty open schedule. Some days I do work 7 hours but when I’m free your pets are my priority. I always respect the clients rules and how they take care of their pets and home. I’m comfortable in most houses and with all animals.
“Lisa saved us and Oakley because I had to be gone much longer than planned. She knows the drill with Oakley and he seems to feel very comfortable with her. She's a keeper for sure!”

About: I grew up with showing and breeding Golden Retrievers, giving me hands-on experience since age 12. I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life- walking, bathing, and grooming. I promise to provide attentive care to each pet’s comfort and routine. I currently work full-time as a supervisor at Starbucks. I either work 3:30-11:30am or 6:00-2:00pm. I have two days of a week, usually one weekend day :) Pets in my own home have their own barn with inside/outside access during the day, but are crated at night. We have five acres and love having playtime outside. I am able to meet most needs for pets.
About: We are a husband and wife duo who both grew up with animals and have been fostering and watching dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. We truly believe our fur babies deserve the best! We have 2 dogs and 3 cats currently, all of which are used to being around other dogs/cats. We want to help you feel good about leaving them so lets us know what we can do to help! Please note that Jerry primarily does drop in visits and we both help with boarding. If you have questions on care, just let us know! I work from home and my husband is a stay at home dad to our two young children so we can provide whatever care is needed, including frequent bathroom breaks, medicines, etc and lots of love! We have a large back yard that is fully fenced in. Our 25 pound terrier loves to play so your fur baby will have friends! I can also provide a separate room or crate for your baby if needed.

I am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and ages and will reinforce any behavior training you and your dog are working on. I’m organized, caring and very responsible. Looking forward to hearing from you! I am a travel PT with a love for animals but move around too much for work to have my own pets t the moment. I work outside of the home so I can accommodate morning and evening walks/potty breaks and evening cuddles! “Cassie has been walking our two dogs twice a week, and we couldn’t be happier. She’s attentive and makes sure both dogs get the exercise and care they need. I really appreciate the updates and photos after each walk—it’s clear she genuinely cares about them. Reliable, kind, and professional; we’re lucky to have found her!”

I am currently on summer break from my job as a teacher, so I have plenty of availability to care for pets throughout the work week. I put my client and their pets' needs first. Their comfort and safety are of upmost importance to me. I follow all directions given to ensure that all animals are cared for properly.
“Chuck is awesome -- he is very concerned with my pets' welfare and took things slow and easy while he gets to know them. I am so grateful to have found someone to care and walk my fur-babies and I would HIGHLY recommend Chuck to anyone who is in need of his services!”

“My girl Sage is a timid baby and it takes a while for her to feel comfortable with new people. When Adam came to our house for a meet and greet, Sage was up, tail wagging and all up in his space the moment she saw him. Adam takes Sage for walks during My work days which are very long. Sage is happy and I am very happy. I highly recommend Adam as he is a gentle spirit who obviously a doggy whisperer!!! Belinda & Sage”

About: I've had animals a part of my family since I was born. Growing up it was my responsibility to take care of them - feeding, watering, walking, and cleaning up after their messes. I often looked after our neighbors' pets as well. I have experience with large and small dogs, various temperaments of cats, pets in their "baby" phase as well as older pets who need extra care and love. I am good with all breeds of dogs and cats. I like to give each pet time to get comfortable with me before entering into their space. I consider each pet I meet a new friend to bond with over play, walks, and snuggles. :) I am regularly a house cleaner who runs her own business in the local area, so this gives me the opportunity to be available to pet owners and their pet's needs. I currently care for 4 different family's pets throughout the year and have rarely come into a scheduling conflict. I like to give people the freedom they need in their life while not having to worry about their pet's needs. I do not currently have the space to care for other people's pets in my home but am willing to stay in their home overnight to accommodate their needs. I like to have the pet owners make a list of things I should know about their pets. This could be special needs, dos and don'ts, typical schedule for feeding, bedtime, etc., pet's favorite spot to lay or toy to play with. That way the pet(s) can stay closer to what they know for lower stress.
About: I grew up with dogs and have a GSD of my own. I am able to deal with puppies, senior dogs, and any animal who needs to be administered medication. I am a stay at home mom so will offer 24-7 care to your animal. We do have two young boys so your animal will need to be child friendly! I have a fenced yard and dog park in my neighborhood, so I can allow frequent potty breaks as well as exercise for your fur baby.

“We LOVE Amanda and so do our dogs (older Border Collie and young Australian Shepherd)! She is very dependable and trustworthy and is very skilled with dogs. We breathe a sigh of relief knowing that our beloved pets are in good, safe hands. You can tell that she is devoted to caring for canines and we appreciate the kind care that she provides for the special dogs in our lives!”
About: *DISCLAIMER: THE RESPONSE TIME AND NEW CLIENT BOOKING STATS ASSOCIATED TO MY ACCOUNT ARE NOT ACCURATE. THEY DISPLAY MY MISUNDERSTANDING OF HOW TO PAUSE MY ACCOUNT WHEN TRAVELING. I love dogs and I love to be active so it’s a perfect match! I am involved in Real Estate, which I can do remotely most of the time. So, overall, I am always readily available and flexible to care for your sweet animals! I am nearly always free on the weekends! I am highly vigilant and responsible, I take pride in keeping your home and pets safe and sound! I keep your pets on their natural feeding, playing, potty, and sleeping schedules while you are away! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
