“I had to leave my five cats for a few days, so I hired Amy to look after them. She took copious notes when we did our meet and greet. But to be on the safe side, I also sent her detailed instructions, probably way more than she needed. She was great in my absence. Although none of my cats are adept at texting me (!), the many photographs I received demonstrated that they were happy with her too! I got photographs every day, and Amy spent a good amount of time with them every day. She also followed up with me with a note on a daily basis to detail how everyone was doing. Upon my return, everyone seemed to be very happy and well fed. The litter boxes were nice and clean, and the one cat of mine who speaks English fluently confirmed my opinion that Amy was a great cat sitter!”

About: I have worked in pet care of all kinds for several years now; from professional daycare and boarding, grooming salons, and shelters, I’ve done it all. I have three fur babies of my own, a dog and two cats, as well as several fish. I’ve even had reptiles! I have a graduate certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington, and I am Pet First Aid certified through the Red Cross! I am available Monday - Sunday to take care of your fur babies. While I cannot keep pets in my home due to my own babies, I am happy to engage your pet in whatever ways I can to keep them happy and healthy! I have been trained in dog group behavior and play behavior, and I have had cats (my own and fosters) for 7 years. I’ve grown up with dogs and had them my whole life. I am happy to let pups out several times throughout the day, whether it be walks or in a yard, and play as much as they would like! Cats I can play with as much or as little as they would like, and clean litter boxes as many times as needed throughout the day. I am comfortable administering oral medications (tablets, solutions, etc) to dogs and cats.

About: I have been dogsitting for my neighbors since I was very young. They had a golden, yorkie, and pitbull and I adored all of them. The pitbull was a lot to handle but I was determined to be the best sitter! I took care of a dog that was 15 and struggling. I helped him eat his food, go to the bathroom, and clean up the house after him. I could take about my dog sitting jobs for another hour! :) I have class Wednesday from 8-3 and Thursday from 12-3 but other than that I am pretty free. I sometimes work at the Hilton Head Social Bakery on Fridays as well. I wouldn’t bring your dog to my house because my dog is protective, but I am strict about leashes and fencing the last thing I want is a lose dog.

About: I’ve been working with dogs/small animals for about 4 years or so now with also experience in veterinary hospital work and pill administering & injections Currently work a part time job averaging about 25 hours a week I have a pretty set schedule and will work with anyone on times and days I have two very well managed dogs one being a Rottweiler who love’s to play with other dogs. any play time with be supervised weather it’s inside or outside.

I have been an island resident for 20 years and a dog owner all my life! I am a homemaker and self employed. If needed, I do most of my work for my husband in the mornings. My afternoons are very flexible! I will follow the instructions you provide. I know most clients are peculiar about where their leashes are stored, whether their pup gets a treat before/after their walk, etc.

About: I’ve grown up my whole life with dogs! I have a soft spot in my heart for bigger dogs, but I’ve cared for small and big furry friends alike. I love taking all sorts of dogs on walks, playing with them, and giving them any and all the attention they need! I’m home for the summer with nothing but time to kill! About: I've been around dogs most of my life. I have a wonderful dog at home and she's a special pet to me. On most days, I take my dog to the dog park, the beach and to the soccer field. She loves to run on the beach and chase the birds. Every time, she see a dog on the beach, she plays chase with them. The other dogs love it! She likes to be outside and run a lot. She also plays fetch. It's an enjoyable experience with Bella. We offer the same doggie care for our Guests! I'm available for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits.
