“Chrystal took great care of Money!”

About: I’m a Fear Free Certified Professional, currently studying animal behavior. I’ve been running my own home based doggy daycare and boarding house for four years. My care is crate-free (unless that's what your pup's preferred at-home routine is,) with regular group outings to trails and the beach. I live in a two level home where the entire downstairs and fenced backyard are just for the dogs! It’s colorfully set up as the coolest doggie social club, but the pups are welcome throughout both levels of the home. They are never forcibly isolated and almost always prefer to be close to wherever I am. I keep my client list small and personal—almost all of my dogs have been with me for years. I don’t aim to pack the house; I aim to give the best experience possible for every dog and human involved. Even when clients start as one-offs, they usually stick around—because I strive to be a resource for dogs and their families. That’s why I call this place a home away from home. If you're interested, I invite you to come by for a meet and greet—see the space, meet me, and let me meet your little one. I look forward to being your dog’s new best friend! Canine care is my daily life. The dogs are with me throughout the day—whether we’re in the yard, around the house, or out on a trail. I structure my routine around their needs, with group outings, downtime, and a consistent rhythm. If my personal life calls me away, I have an amazing assistant Alaina who steps in. She also co-runs the daycare! I focus on keeping things consistent, calm, fun, and full of bonding—play, rest, outdoor time, and enrichment are all part of the daily rhythm. Outside of daycare hours, the space functions as our home too, so dogs experience a relaxed, real-life environment, not a facility. I send updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day.

About: As a dedicated and experienced pet sitter, I am passionate about providing the best care possible for all types of pups. As a specialized pet sitter for bully breeds and small dogs, I understand the unique needs and quirks of these adorable dogs. With years of experience and a deep love for all things pup, I am committed to providing the highest level of care and attention to your furry friend. Everything from numerous short walks and playtime (temperature permitting) to feeding and medication administration, you can trust me to provide reliable and compassionate care for your dog. I am dedicated to ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. My home has ramps to access all furniture and gates to prevent pups from running up and down stairs to protect their spines and potential IVDD flare ups. Our morning starts off with a walk around the neighborhood, then it’s breakfast time which means training and play with positive reinforcement! Your pup then has playtime with toys and with my dog Penelope if they are up for it or can snooze away. We then take a quick walk during lunch to stretch our legs and say hi to our friends at Rocky’s. After work we love to be in nature and hit the trails or parks to get some steps in! After dinner I love nothing more than to cuddle with the pups on my couch before bed! We have an outdoor deck that the dogs always have access to. Mostly serves as a sunbathing lounge 😎. The deck is also equipped with grass patches for easy potty breaks. Your pup with have the company of my dog, Penelope. She is a playful and well behaved French bulldog. I have a robust routine for her to keep her healthy and prevent her from being affected from her predisposed IVDD. I can easily incorporate any special needs or request that your day may need.

About: As a Registered Nurse with 28 years of caregiving experience, I bring a calm, attentive, and compassionate approach to pet care. I personally cared for my own beloved dog for 20 years — through every life stage — including administering medications, managing special diets, and providing gentle senior care. I’m especially comfortable with: • Senior dogs and pets with special needs • Giving oral medications and supplements • Monitoring for health or behavior changes • Maintaining consistent routines • Offering lots of love, patience, and walks! My nursing background means I’m highly observant, dependable, and focused on safety and comfort. What sets me apart is that I truly understand pets are family — and I care for them with the same heart and attention I gave to my own. My husband calls me the dog whisperer! I work from home full-time, so your pup will have plenty of attention throughout the day. My home features a fully fenced, dog-friendly backyard with a doggie door leading from the deck to the yard — perfect for safe outdoor access. I live on a quiet, flat cul-de-sac in the Oakland Hills, ideal for peaceful walks. I also enjoy visiting nearby parks and hiking trails, many within walking distance, for fresh air and exercise with furry friends I have a fenced backyard dog and currently I do not have any dogs or pets of my own for the time being. I live in a safe, quiet and peaceful area. I do not require dogs to be crated.

“Vito loooves Mariola and Lux! He had a great time staying there for the day. Mariola is attentive and patient and provides a safe and relaxed environment. We will definitely have Vito stay with her again.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life, have been pet sitting for the past 10 years for friends and family, and we now have a dog daughter of our own – a 3 year old standard poodle. We'll care for your dog just like we care for our own – as part of our family. I work from home primarily and my partner works from home occasionally so your pet will never be alone for too long. We have a yard where our dog and a neighboring dog like to play and we go on 3 walks per day at minimum in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Whether your dog enjoys lots of social time and play or is more relaxed, we are set up to provide your dog with the care and safe space they need.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, from cats to big hunting dogs. My aunt has always had large dogs that weren’t always fully trained, so I’m used to handling strong and sometimes stubborn dogs (size anywhere from 15lbs (smallest) to roughly 100lbs). My girlfriend has a rescue pit bull (95 lbs.) who got comfortable with me really fast, and her dad has a German shepherd-husky mix (-75lbs) who’s very nervous and hesitant around people. I managed to earn his trust in a short time span as well. I’m especially good with big dogs and dogs that might be a bit protective or shy. I don’t mind if they need time to warm up; I actually enjoy figuring out how to make them feel safe and relaxed. What makes me different is that I’m really patient and I don’t force anything. I pay attention to how each dog feels and let them come to me at their own pace. People always tell me I have a natural way with animals, and I think that’s true because I really enjoy being around them and I respect their space. I love spending time with dogs, whether it’s going on a long walk, playing, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I try to make sure they feel happy and comfortable the whole time. I am prompt and communicative With drop ins, i can also do small extras like water your plants and bring in the mail. I'm fairly flexible on same day bookings and can be extra active for energetic dogs I am also happy to discuss longer hikes or extra exercise for an additional fee I’m a student-athlete on the men's rowing team studying biology. I'm 6'7 and very active and love being outside, so going on long walks or playing with dogs fits perfectly into my routine. I’m free most afternoons and will be available all summer. I'm 22, and I’m from Denmark. I will be happy to discuss longer hikes or extra exercise for an additional fee I’m very good with dogs of any size and personality. I’ve been around everything from big labs and hunting dogs to pit bulls and nervous rescues. Some of these dogs were very cautious or protective at first, but they usually warm up to me quickly. usually, within the same day. When I’m caring for a dog, whether it’s in my home or yours, I make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I respect their space, pay close attention to their body language, and let them come to me at their own pace. I always keep the environment calm and positive, and I focus on building trust from the start. I am also happy to discuss longer hikes, extra exercise and/or extra care for an additional fee

About: I have 3 lazy shih tzus who loves to be chauffeur in their stroller. We live in a house with fenced yard that has a nice lawn for relaxation or doggie tag. I have been caring for dogs since college (a long time ago!) from puppies to seniors. My doggies and I have travelled all of the country when I used to travel often for work, which trained me with care techniques as well as identifying behaviors and administering medications. I am 5 minutes walking distance from Berkeley Dog & Cat 24 Hours Hospital and can quickly get medical attention when necessary. The neighborhood has a handful of nice spaces for strolling, including parks, college campus, and quaint streets lined with shops. I have 2 teens who also love animals and occasionally help look after the dogs when I briefly step out for groceries or similar errands that are close by. The doggies all enjoy indoor and the fenced back yard. It is clean and secure. They also love sitting on the front porch with me and people watch. I do have a crate, but most of the time they are free to roam around the house. I never have more than 6 dogs, including my own, so that each one will get adequate attention.
“Claudio was amazing with Xico. Xico does not always get along with other dogs, but Claudio has the ability to ease any tension or fear Xico may feel around new dogs. Claudio went above and beyond to make Xico feel at home. They even went to Alameda beach! I know Xico felt safe and happy due to Claudio’s warm energy. I’m so happy Xico could socialize and have fun this week!”

About: I’ve done neighborhood dog care in high school for 2 years and in college occasionally take care of my friends cats while they are away. I’m a full time student at Cal but my classes are all during the morning so afternoons and evenings I am normally available to go for walks, feed, or play with pets. I have a fenced back yard and a pet friendly lease for my apartment. While boarding I would put fragile valuables away securely in my loft.

“Anchisa kept my dog Walter for doggy day care on my long work days. I am completely pleased and so happy we found her! From time of booking throughout his whole stay her communication is excellent with updates and pics! He is no longer nervous when I get ready for work since he knows he will be seeing her. I would trust her completely for boarding if I leave town as well. I am so grateful we found you!”

“Jeff and Beth were amazing. I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience. This was my first experience with Rover and my new shelter pup Lulu. Lulu is a bit anxious and takes some time to warm up. I felt Jeff and Beth were so loving, caring and patient with her and she seemed to really settle in and enjoy herself with Jeff and Beth and the other pups. Their space inside and out is AMAZING…a dog’s delight. I plan to return soon!”

“Aimee is an absolute gem! I’ve had the pleasure of working with her as an assistant for the past year and a half, caring for dogs in daycare and boarding. Without a doubt, she goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of her furry clients. Leading with patient, fear-free engagement and positive reinforcement, Aimee works hard to ensure each dog feels confident, comfortable and cared for from the moment they step a paw through her front door. To cultivate a true home-away-from-home environment, she has set up her entire house to ensure the maximum comfort and accessibility for each of her Lucky Dog guests. Pups arrive each day with wagging tails and loads of excitement and leave content from a fun-filled day with friends of socializing, playtime, hikes, cuddles, treats, naps, belly rubs and so much more. At Lucky Dog Social Club, Aimee brings the whole package when it comes to caring for your pup—she will love them like her own and you can rest easy knowing they are in her hands…and her heart!”

Daniela O.
“We can’t recommend Daniela enough. Our dog Sasha is sweet but a little sensitive—she gets anxious around other dogs, is picky with food, and can get overly excited when meeting new people. So we’ve always been really cautious about who we leave her with. Finding Daniela was such a relief. She only watches one dog at a time, which is exactly what Sasha needs. No crowded homes or chaotic pack dynamics—just calm, focused attention. Daniela lives in the Oakland Hills and takes Sasha on long walks at the regional parks nearby, and even brings her along on peaceful weekend trips to Tahoe. Honestly, Sasha goes on vacation when we can’t take her with us! Daniela’s also a nurse, and you can tell she brings that level of care to how she looks after dogs. She keeps us updated with texts and pictures, and even gives us little health and care tips when we pick Sasha up. We never feel out of the loop, and we always know Sasha is in safe, loving hands. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, especially if your pup has quirks or needs a bit of extra TLC, Daniela is the one. Lidia. ( Sasha’s mom)”

Taryn & Jeffrey T.
“Taryn and her husband Jeff have lovingly cared for our dog Chips several times and he always comes back happy and healthy! Their dog Peixe is one of Chips's favorite playmates; Peixe is incredibly well-behaved and cared for beautifully. One time while watching Chips, the Bay Area had a crazy heat wave and I felt totally confident that he was safe and comfortable while we were away despite his thick fur and high energy level/exercise needs. Chips is a bit of a wild man on walks/hikes and they deal with him SO well! Loving, conscientious, safe, and fun - those are the hallmarks of Taryn's caregiving style <3”

Tobias K.
“Tobias is truly good with animals and very responsible — he always has been. He is incredibly empathetic and very calm around animals in general, and I’ve never seen him fail to become friends with an animal, whether it’s a dog, cat, horse, or rabbit. When we were kids, he even trained his goldfish so he could hand-feed it. Tobias has taken care of our cat several times, and the cat feels very safe with him. He has also often looked after and played with the dogs in our family, all of whom have loved him. You can confidently leave your dog in Tobias’s care!”
