“This was my first experience boarding my little pooch with a private boarder, in the boarder's home, and I was extremely nervous. I'm an over-protective pet Mommy and my pooch is not very socialized. I explained all of this in my Rover profile and it didn't deter Melissa one bit. She and her husband John are true dog lovers! When I took my pooch for his meet and greet with Melissa and her dogs Maui and Cupcake, my pooch didn't bark one time. I was shocked and amazed! Melissa let them out in her back yard to play and get to know each other and you would have thought they were all long-time best furry friends! Again, I was shocked and amazed. Melissa put me and my pooch at ease immediately. She cared for my pooch, along with about seven other small dogs, hers included for six days. My pooch had a wonderful time and his Mommy didn't have to spend her vacation in Jamaica worrying about him. Going forward, whenever I need to boarder my pooch, I'm contacting Melissa. If she's not available, then I'll have to rearrange my travel plans until she is. Melissa is the Bestest!!”
