About: We have been loving and caring for dogs for a long time. Big and small dogs; young and old. Our son and 7 year old dog are welcoming I am currently working from home and Bryan works part time. Our son is home schooled at this time, therefore, we have time and energy to help other dogs and other families We have a large yard in a quiet neighborhood; part of our yard is fenced and other part is open for additional exercise. We also walk our dog daily.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses, and have experience in oral med administration with both cats and dogs. I have a soft spot for the big dogs (they're lap-sized if you commit!). I run half marathons so getting good exercise in will be no problem (even in Wisconsin weather!). I'm currently training for distance running, so you can expect great exercise for your pet! Whether it's a long meandering sniff-ari or an intense loop around the neighborhood, I would love to know what fits your dog best. As I'm in your home, your instructions are paramount. You know your pet better than anyone, and I am happy to keep their normal routines in place. I like getting to know each animal and their unique personality, and while I *love* giving snuggles and pets, I understand some pets prefer their space.

About: Former member of UNC-Chapel Hill Puppy Raisers, a student-led organization that works with puppies in partnership with Ears Eyes Nose and Paws of Chapel Hill on their journey to becoming service animals. I’m currently working part time, so very flexible with the times and days that I am available to help out with your cats or dogs! I have no pets currently so full attention will be devoted to your animal! I have grown up with dogs my entire life and feel comfortable handling all sizes and breeds.

About: I have had two labradors over the last 33 years -- each of them lived over 16 years. My dear Ruby died earlier this year. Just recently, in August, I adopted a small pittie named Emma. She is sweet and calm and likes every dog she has met so far. I have provided dog sitting to other labs, goldens, terriers, and 'background not confirmed' rescues for friends, relatives, and neighbors for over a dozen years. They are the ones that gave me the nickname Camp (or Spa) Marlene because their dogs had great stays with me. Kiddie pool in summer, trips to a lake (if the dogs have good recall) walks in morning and at night, goodies and lots of snuggles. While I cannot accept cats boarding at my house, I am fine with sitting your dog's cat siblings as well while I am at your house. And, if I do sitting at your house, I would now need to bring my dog Emma along. I work full time, so your dog will get a long walk, snuggles and breakfast before I go to work and likewise with dinner after I return home. If your dog usually goes to a dog park, I can follow that routine as well. I only take one client at a time, unless you and a friend already have established friendships between your dogs. I have a ranch house with a fenced backyard. If your dog has trouble with stairs, I have dog ramp to put on my 2 backyard steps to make going outside easy. Your dog is welcome to be free in the house while I am at work, but I have a large crate they can stay in (or bring your own) if they are more comfortable that way. If you want me to sit at your house, I'll follow whatever routine you use when you are gone.
