“We have a puppy so everyone knows what that comes with 😬 I really appreciate Mark/Lester being welcoming, easy going and very responsive. Our reservation for daycare was a little last minute and it was our first time using Rover. I’d send our dog to them again.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled with the care Chelsea provided for Bubu and Lola during their days at her place! Both of our Huskies can be a bit particular, but she handled them with such patience and love. From the moment we dropped them off, it was clear that Bubu and Lola felt right at home. Chelsea kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and messages, which made our workday so much easier knowing they were having a great time. It was such a relief to see them so relaxed and happy! We highly recommend Chelsea to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving caregiver for their pets. Bubu and Lola can’t wait for their next visit! 😊🐶”

“Bangyun was amazing with my pup. Bella her dog is very friendly and had lots of play time and walk together during the stay. You know your baby has been having fun when they can’t wait to go into her house in the morning, jumping out of the car and rushing into the front door! Will re book when needed again definitely! Thank you so much !!! :)”

“Anupama took such great care of our dog Mimi! She sent photo updates, communicated well throughout the whole stay, and asked us thoughtful questions about Mimi to help provide the best care for her. Thank you Anu!”

“I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Our dog absolutely loves being with Vic, and a big part of that is thanks to Vic. From the moment we arrived, Vic made us feel welcome and took the time to ask detailed questions about our dog’s habits, preferences, and needs. It’s clear that Vic is attentive in caring a lot about my dog having a pleasant time as well as setting our minds at ease. Couldn’t ask for a better sitter!”

About: I'm happy to provide personalized and punctual care for all of our furry friends. I have lots of experience with pets of all shapes and sizes from the biggest goofballs to the smallest snugglers. I have a fairly flexible schedule that revolves around my kids school and extracurricular activities. I'm available most days throughout the day to take your pets out on adventures. I have a large fenced-in yard with lots of exploring available. I can also crate your dog if that is what is required. We also have a plethora of sticks to play with.
“Brittany and Blase were such a godsend. I was moving to a new apartment, and needed a place for my anxious boy to hang out for the day. He takes a while to warm up to people, but Brittany and Blase were so patient and kind with him! By the time I picked him up, he didn’t seem to want to leave. They were attentive and great with communication and all in all took so much stress off my plate! Couldn’t recommend them highly enough!”

“Lajetta is the best! She frequently watches my dog and he gets so excited to see her and loves going over there. He usually doesn’t want to leave when I go pick him up. She does a great job caring for Tony.”

About: Hello! My name is Emma. I have had the experience of taking care of dogs for more than 18 years. Also, I take care of my coworkers’ and friends' dogs often. Currently, my husband and I have a 3 years old Cavapoo named Bagel. I clean his eye areas, wash his belly and feet everyday, clean his ears every week after his shower. Moreover, I trim his hair all by myself (Cavapoos' hair grow non-stop). Bagel has his own bed with his bedsheets which are washed every one or two weeks. Our house is really clean and peaceful. In my home, your puppy will get the best level of care. They will be really safe, clean, comfortable, and happy! I only take dogs which are smaller than 28 lbs since our puppy is only 10 lbs. And I accept maximum two dogs at the same time. In certain situation, there may be the third dog accepted. (For example, if a client wants to extend their boarding, which may overlap with two other dogs, I may accept to have three dogs boarded here.) So please be aware that there may be a possibility that your dog is not the only dog during the stay. I'm currently not working and staying at home all day, so my availability is generally 7 days/week. Please check my Calendar before your booking. Thank you! : ) We have a fully fenced yard. I usually let dogs go to the yard every 1-3 hours. Moreover, I will send a lot of videos to you during the boarding. : ) Oh one more thing: I have really strong standards of cleanliness. Dogs are not allowed to go on human beds in our home. This is non-negotiable. Thanks for understanding!
“Jessica was great with our dog, Clyde. She is so positive and was very reassuring with her photos and video updates of how Clyde was doing. We appreciate Jessica and we would love to lose her again to care for Clyde again!”

About: I had dogs as my pet from my childhood. Many customers appreciated me as the best dog sitter ever. I even took care of small puppies below 5 months old. I’m currently a homemaker. So I will be able to spend more time with your dogs. I can assure you that I give my 100% in taking care of them. I have a bigger fenced backyard where your pet can play and spend more time. I will be always near them, taking care of them.
“Nicole is super flexible and patient with my Neo. Neo takes his time to warm up to strangers. Nicole is accommodating, allowing him time and space to adjust. We will bring Neo back regularly to get used to nicole and her pets. I am confident they will be friends soon”

“Another wonderful visit at Dawn's house. She has so much fun with Dawn's daughter and their two dogs. It's a mini vacation for Maggie when she is with them. Couldn't find a better place for her when we are away.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Helvetia
This was my first time using Rover, and I was a little nervous—but I’m so glad I chose Morgan! She instantly put me at ease and took such wonderful care of my pup. My dog had the best time running around the farm and hanging out with her pack. I knew she was happy because she didn’t even want to leave when I came to pick her up! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely book with Morgan again.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Helvetia commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,811 sitters in Helvetia, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
