About: We love dogs. So much that we spent years living on a farm in Appalachia with 7 large breed dogs. Brandon spent his life loving on golden retrievers (a total of 6 since birth) and as a family we have had both a huge Golden baby (9 yrs) and a teeny rescued beast with lots of special needs (9 years). Joy or Brandon (usually both) are home/available to care for your dog 24/7. Will will be able to provide around the clock love and play. We are tucked away in a beautiful old-growth tree grove with enormous front and back completely fenced yards. Our home has an attached upstairs studio apartment/dog lodging with comfy couches/a pullout bed and comfy chairs for private relaxing after a big day of play. One of us will sleep in the apartment/ hang out with your dog (trust they won't be lonely). If your dog enjoys other dogs/cats and wants friends, we have a small dog and 2 cats in the main house that can provide plenty of running fun around the yard. Our neighborhood is perfect for taking walks and we even have 2 parks within 2 blocks.

About: The first pets I ever sat were my neighbors horses. Soon after, a forest fire came through and I had people bringing me wild rabbits and birds to rehab. The critters have gotten much more standard since - cats, rodents, birds, reptiles, and aquatic friends. My own cat is an old curmudgeon with sad kidneys so I know how important food quality and consistency is. I know not to overfeed fish and can do partial water changes if you'd like. I work a desk job at a nonprofit by day and frequently volunteer for a different nonprofit by night. These take me across a decent swathe of the city including Hillsdale, Brooklyn, Woodstock, Laurelhurst, and Montavilla. Show me your routine and I'll keep it consistent. I don't allow dogs to jump on me and there are dogs that sit only for me. I have been told that my love language is competence and I love every critter in my care. For house sitting stays, I may bring a guest by for extra company, depending on the critter.

I lost my dog last year (16 1/2 years) and currently have a cat who’s 18. I love my animals and will surely take good care of yours!!! I am retired after 37 years with the same company and feel that I have lots of extra time on my side and walking dogs (who I love) seems like a fantastic way to earn extra money and get some exercise! Currently when I am walking dogs, I make sure I am early, read all the notes and make sure your dog is safe and happy while in my care!!

If your pet has separation anxiety, please let me know and I will stay with them the whole day. My family has always been pet oriented. I grew up with cats and dogs and know how to approach your pet safely if they are feeling shy. I've been walking dogs for 7+ years so you can be rest assured I will always come well equipped with supplies such as poop bags, leash connector (if you have multiple pups) water and a bowl.
