As usual, Shelly does a fine job of taking care of our pooch. Our dog, Allonsy, has been to doggy day care on a good number of occasions. Never a problem. Shelly chooses appropriate friends for our older dog to play with. Highly recommend Shelly.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelsi! From day one, it was clear how genuinely caring, patient, and attentive she is with my puppy Lucy. She treats her like her own, making sure she’s safe, happy, well-exercised, and loved. I always receive great updates and photos, which gives me total peace of mind knowing Lucy is in such good hands. Her reliability, communication, and obvious love for dogs truly sets her apart. I am so grateful to have found someone I trust completely and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog—especially puppies!

About: I am a lifelong animal lover who currently shares my home with a beloved dog and three wonderful cats. My dog is truly my child, and I ensure he thrives through a strict routine of timely feedings, regular walks, and plenty of interactive play throughout the day. This personal commitment to my own pets' happiness and health is exactly what I bring to every animal I care for. What sets me apart is my experience with specialized care; I currently look after a special-needs cat, which includes performing daily eye treatments. I am comfortable following complex care instructions and providing the patient, attentive medical support that senior pets or those with health challenges require. Whether your pet needs high-energy exercise or gentle, specialized attention, I will treat them with the same love and devotion I give my own family. My daily routine is entirely structured around my pets. We start the day at a sharp 8:00 AM for morning breakfast and plenty of outside time. Because I work from home with a flexible schedule, your pet will receive constant companionship, frequent potty breaks, and interactive play throughout the day. Our evenings are calm and cozy, ending with soft paw nudges for bedtime. Whether your pet needs a strict medication schedule or just someone to be there for afternoon naps, I have the time and dedication to make them feel right at home. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I provide a secure environment with a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play. To give you peace of mind, I am happy to send frequent photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see how much fun they are having. For walks, I utilize multiple leashes and harnesses to ensure every outing is secure and controlled. Whether in my home or yours, I maintain a vigilant eye and follow all specific care instructions to keep your furry family member happy and safe.

About: My wife, Connie, a retired nurse, and I have had six dogs over 35 years. We miss them dearly. I have raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years so I understand the patience, structure and affection that go with it. I am retired from my legal practice of 35 years, and very active. I love long walks and have a nice fenced backyard if pet sitting is needed. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle companionship or just someone who treats them like family I’m committed to make them feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for. After being self-employed for 35 years I am looking for something to keep me busy and I can’t think of a better way to spend my time. I have a very flexible schedule so I am basically available 24/7. In my home I will provide a warm, clean environment, plenty of attention and lots of outdoor activity since I’m an active retired person with plenty of time to give.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes my whole life. And for the past 8+ years, I’ve cared for dogs for neighbors, friends, and family. I currently have a Zara, a sweet and calm Golden Retriever, that is ready to play anytime, and a cat Logan, he loves to spend his day exploring outside. From energetic puppies who need extra playtime to older dogs who need gentle care, I’m comfortable with every personality and routine. I love long walks, belly rubs, and making sure pets feel loved and safe while their owners are away. I’m also happy to stick to your pet’s exact schedule. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I know how important communication is, so I’ll always try to give updates. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I’m home most of the day and can give plenty of attention to your pets. After I drop my two kids off at school in the morning, I have a very flexible schedule for walks, playtime, feedings, and cuddles throughout the day. I’m also available most evenings and weekends for pet sitting or special requests. I have a fenced yard, a very friendly Golden Retriever who loves making new friends, and a cat who enjoys lounging outdoors during the day. I always supervise outside playtime and can separate pets if needed to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I follow your pet’s routine closely, keep fresh water available at all times.

Blessed finally someone I can trust Eileen and Rich found me on Rover. They were looking for a sitter for there pup as their beloved long time sitter had moved. Rich came to my place with piglet for meet and greet with my 3 smalls . He shared with me how much anxiety he was having trying to find the exact right fit for piglet. I have 3 dogs. Doyle is my fear dog (He has come ALONG ways in 5 short years. He immediately ran up to Rich and put his feet on his legs so he could pet him. They watched the pack for me one day and it was the first time I had ever left Doyle with anyone and even tho I was a little nervous that Doyle would try to escape to come find me I knew they would be watching him like a hawk. Just a short time later I received a photo from Eileen comfy on the couch with all the dogs (even Doyle!) Laying on her and snuggling. But honestly, I already knew on my heart that they would care and lovey dogs almost as much me by the number of dog sitters they interviewed and even coming back for a second meet and greet just to make sure everything was going to work out. I will also add that piglet is very well behaved has excellent social skills , and over all just a well balanced dog. Says a lot about her parents! I know once you see how well cared and loved your pet is there you will not to leave them with anyone else! I'm so grateful our paths crossed and I can now feel comfortable leaving my littles when momma needs some me time! Thank you Rich and Eileen!

Blaze had an absolute blast with Hannah and her family! They sent photos that brightened my day. It was our first experience with day care and we will certainly be back. They have a nice fenced area that he was able to play freely. He came home and seemed content and played out! They made drop off and pick up very smooth and easy. It was a great experience!

Very understanding and patient folks. They were able to help me with daycare pretty last minute, which was a huge help. Photos and videos throughout the day were great and a big relief for me as a first time dog parent. The space seems really nice and safe for dogs to enjoy themselves and a nice quiet neighborhood as well.

About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. I live in a fantastic walking neighborhood and can happily meet you in yours or bring them to mine. Can never get too much exercise in! Plus, my big fully fenced in yard is at their disposal.

About: Although I'm new to Rover I have been dog sitting for years, now that I'm retired and have too much free time on my hands I decided to bump it up a notch. I love dogs and my papillon is getting up there in age and lost her sister and this is a great way to give her company and a buddy. I am retired and home more than away. Weather permitting I spend most of my time enjoying the outdoors playing and working in my yard. I have two beautiful landscaped fully fenced acres, lots of room for your fur babies to run and play. My home is well set up for extra paws. I have one senior papillon who could use a buddy.

Alexis and Jacob watched Baja for the first time and it was a total success! Baja is very sweet but can be a handful and so we were pretty picky about who could take the reins after her last sitter moved. Based on the friendliness, competence, reliability, and great communication we experienced with Alexis and Jacob, we’re thrilled to have a new loving and safe place for Baja to stay when we’re gone.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Hamricks Corner

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 1,787 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Hamricks Corner. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Hamricks Corner commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,787 sitters in Hamricks Corner, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
