About: My wife and I have had three sets of dogs over 35 years. We miss them dearly. I have raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years so I understand the patience, structure and affection that go with it. I am retired now and very active. I love long walks and have a nice fenced backyard if pet sitting is needed. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle companionship or just someone who treats them like family I’m committed to make them feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for. I’m retired after being self-employed for 40 years. I am looking for something to keep me busy and I can’t think of a better way to spend my time. I have a very flexible schedule so I am basically available 24/7. In my home they will have a warm, clean environment, plenty of attention and lots of outdoor activity since I’m an active retired person with plenty of time to give.

About: We are a homeschooling family that deeply cares about your pet(s) and their individual needs and personalities. Both myself and my husband have owned a pet (dog and cats) our entire lives and feel they are a valuable member of the family unit. If you can't get home from work in time, I can help take the stress off and swing by to care for your pet. If you board with us, we will spoil your dog rotten with love and affection. If boarding: Myself and/or husband are always home for potty breaks or exercise. Your dog will receive a morning and evening walk in a lovely and safe neighborhood. We value our sleep at night- if your dog has separation anxiety and barks all night long, we may not be a good fit. I have worked in healthcare for 30 years and have owned a cat for most of my life. We desire to build lasting relationships and repeat clients through open communication and quality and loving care. Meet and Greets are valuable to confirm if it will be a good fit for all. You, the pet parent, are just as important as your pet! If walking your dog, we will spend a few minutes connecting and praising to establish comfort and trust before,during, and/or after the walk. We pay attention to weather conditions and pavement temperatures, offering water breaks as needed. If boarding: My supervised tweens will spoil your pet rotten with affection and regular interaction. We own a single story home and have air conditioning. Your pet has access to our fenced backyard and all areas of our home. They will also have a mellow indoor cat in which to interact. Be prepared- your pet will get loads of love and attention! Our home is clean, neat and constantly evaluated for pet safety. Our home/yard are available for preview if you have additional concerns about boarding.

Our evenings are calm and cozy, ending with soft paw nudges for bedtime. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I provide a secure environment with a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play. To give you peace of mind, I am happy to send frequent photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see how much fun they are having. For walks, I utilize multiple leashes and harnesses to ensure every outing is secure and controlled. Whether in my home or yours, I maintain a vigilant eye and follow all specific care instructions to keep your furry family member happy and safe.

About: Although I'm new to Rover I have been dog sitting for years, now that I'm retired and have too much free time on my hands I decided to bump it up a notch. I love dogs and my papillon is getting up there in age and lost her sister and this is a great way to give her company and a buddy. I am retired and home more than away. Weather permitting I spend most of my time enjoying the outdoors playing and working in my yard. I have two beautiful landscaped fully fenced acres, lots of room for your fur babies to run and play. My home is well set up for extra paws. I have one senior papillon who could use a buddy.

“Blessed finally someone I can trust Eileen and Rich found me on Rover. They were looking for a sitter for there pup as their beloved long time sitter had moved. Rich came to my place with piglet for meet and greet with my 3 smalls . He shared with me how much anxiety he was having trying to find the exact right fit for piglet. I have 3 dogs. Doyle is my fear dog (He has come ALONG ways in 5 short years. He immediately ran up to Rich and put his feet on his legs so he could pet him. They watched the pack for me one day and it was the first time I had ever left Doyle with anyone and even tho I was a little nervous that Doyle would try to escape to come find me I knew they would be watching him like a hawk. Just a short time later I received a photo from Eileen comfy on the couch with all the dogs (even Doyle!) Laying on her and snuggling. But honestly, I already knew on my heart that they would care and lovey dogs almost as much me by the number of dog sitters they interviewed and even coming back for a second meet and greet just to make sure everything was going to work out. I will also add that piglet is very well behaved has excellent social skills , and over all just a well balanced dog. Says a lot about her parents! I know once you see how well cared and loved your pet is there you will not to leave them with anyone else! I'm so grateful our paths crossed and I can now feel comfortable leaving my littles when momma needs some me time! Thank you Rich and Eileen!”
