“This was my first time leaving my pup since adopting him earlier this year. We did a meet and greet with Juliann and her family to make sure it would be a good fit all around. Marty is a timid and skittish dog and they tried to make him feel comfortable. I am sure it was challenging, especially given his love for walks and the extreme heat. Juliann was great with communication and provided pics and updates during his stay.”

“Kelsi was EXCELLENT. She very responsive with communication and loved her pictures and updates. Leaving a young pup with her felt like a lot to take on but she seemed very willing and capable! Sounds like they had a wonderful time together. I will definitely use Kelsi again in the future!”

“Jill was INCREDIBLE! It was our first time needing a long-term sitter and Jill was able to help coordinate care in a very timely manner!! She was very personal and communicative. She really goes above and beyond, daily exercise, runs, playing, dog park, socializing. Basically anything your dog needs. She even offered some homemade/homecooked dog food. Appreciated all of the photos and updates. Thank you so much Jill!! Bodhi had a blast!”

“We are so sad to leave Nadine! Axel loves her and her crew and cannot recommend her enough to folks! Your animals will be loved on and taken care of. We will miss you so much!”

“Our dog stayed for 2 weeks with Susie -- we were nervous as we had only recently adopted him, but he seemed to have a great time during his stay with Susie! She sent daily photos, which we loved. We hope to be able to have our dog stay with Susie again!”

“Nancy was absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our girl with anyone so we were very nervous on how it would go! Nancy was so reassuring that Paisley would do well. She sent us pictures to keep us updated on how she was doing. Paisley came home one happy girl! We are so thankful to have found Nancy and highly recommend her!! We will definitely use her in the future!”

“Everything went so well! My dog loved Barbara’s huge backyard and comfy sofa. I loved the great care my pup got, including a chance to sleep in the big bed. Pictures and updates a couple of times a day let me know all was well. Thank you Barbara!”

“Julie was great! She took great care of our pup, Jax, while we were away from Christmas. It is obvious that she has years of experience with dogs and will show plenty of attention and love to your pup. Would definitely recommend booking a stay with Julie. Thanks again, Julie!”

“Once again, Oliver had a great time and was so well taken care of. The day before our trip, Ollie had an issue with his foot and was put on several medications. Stephen's wife, Connie, made a meds chart to ensure that every dose was given on time. That wasn't something we had planned for, but they were so great about it. That really allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying about him. Thanks so much, Stephen and Connie!”

“I could not have asked for a better family to watch my dog! Samantha and Brian were so kind and accommodating with my older dog! My dog had some issues initially acclimating to the new environment and they went above and beyond to make him feel at home. To the extent that Brian slept in the living room with him, where my dog felt most comfortable. Their children and their pup were wonderful with him as well! The family even accommodated me picking my dog up a night early since our holiday plans changed. This family really was a blessing when we needed to leave our dog for the holidays! Thank you again!!”

“Jean is an outstanding sitter. Everything from the meet and greet to picking my dog Layla up in the morning went phenomenal. Excellent communication, very friendly, overall wonderful place for my pup to stay with plenty of room to play around and or relax, and very considerate sending plenty of updates throughout the day to make me feel more comfortable! I would highly recommend!”

“Shelly was wonderful with my dog and made sure my dog was comfortable on the noisy 4th of July. She has a wonderful, air conditioned area for the oversized dog kennels and an indoor play area. She's responsive and provides good communication. Will definitely book with Shelly again.”

“I would totally book again with bonnie she was so flexible with me! I felt so secure with leaving my baby here she never complained about anything my dog did like most other pet sitters I had before which really made me feel at peace!”

“My fur baby was so tired that he slept most of the day after his recent stay with Suzanne. He plays as long as a dog will play with him. When that dog wants to stop, Murphy finds another one to play with. He loves Suzanne and is always excited to visit for day care and overnight stays.”

“So happy to have come across Jennifer and Eric before boarding our pup. Seeing photos of him snuggling their kids and knowing he was being loved on all week gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. Thank you guys so much!”

“Leslie’s home was a great Home away from home for our dog! She provided lots of care, updates, and home made treats. Our dog was completely comfortable in her home, which has a large fenced in backyard and lots of places to rest and snuggle!”

“My pup was well-taken care of while staying with Denise for a few days. He was having some accidents inside and Denise was really understanding. Its obvious that she'll accomodate any dog and issues that come up. Thanks again for being so nice! I'd recommend Denise if you're looking for a kind and understanding sitter.”

“Kate was wonderful!! She was very communicative, super kind, and Millie loved her drop in visit! Kate was also super accommodating moving the check in time as our plans changed sort of last minute and we are so thankful for knowing our pup was in great hands!!”

“Diana was fantastic! This was the first time we used Rover and had someone we didn’t already know care for our animals. We had a great experience. We loved our daily photos and updates on our cats. She came over ahead of our trip to take notes on how she could best care for them while we were gone and asked if there was anything else she could help us with. So thankful for our wonderful experience—even our shy kitty cats out to play with Diana! Highly recommended!”

About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with cats and their kittens as a child, and have always bonded closely with them. I adopted My Own Cat promptly upon turning 18 (in 2002); Khaki was with me for 18 years, outliving his adopted brother Leo (my sister’s cat), who ended up living with me as well. I’ve also cared for my exes cat (Alli), and my son’s first cat (Lady Grey), and my current grand cats, Cas and Zizi. I am comfortable with litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. I have experience helping cats with ear, eye, gastrointestinal, and kidney problems. I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family, and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands!

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelsi! From day one, it was clear how genuinely caring, patient, and attentive she is with my puppy Lucy. She treats her like her own, making sure she’s safe, happy, well-exercised, and loved. I always receive great updates and photos, which gives me total peace of mind knowing Lucy is in such good hands. Her reliability, communication, and obvious love for dogs truly sets her apart. I am so grateful to have found someone I trust completely and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog—especially puppies!”

“Jill was wonderful! Super easy drop off and pickup for our day trip to Willamette. We felt comfortable leaving our dog with her. Riley was happy and tired when she finished her visit. Thank you, Jill!”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover who currently shares my home with a beloved dog and three wonderful cats. My dog is truly my child, and I ensure he thrives through a strict routine of timely feedings, regular walks, and plenty of interactive play throughout the day. This personal commitment to my own pets' happiness and health is exactly what I bring to every animal I care for. What sets me apart is my experience with specialized care; I currently look after a special-needs cat, which includes performing daily eye treatments. I am comfortable following complex care instructions and providing the patient, attentive medical support that senior pets or those with health challenges require. Whether your pet needs high-energy exercise or gentle, specialized attention, I will treat them with the same love and devotion I give my own family. My daily routine is entirely structured around my pets. We start the day at a sharp 8:00 AM for morning breakfast and plenty of outside time. Because I work from home with a flexible schedule, your pet will receive constant companionship, frequent potty breaks, and interactive play throughout the day. Our evenings are calm and cozy, ending with soft paw nudges for bedtime. Whether your pet needs a strict medication schedule or just someone to be there for afternoon naps, I have the time and dedication to make them feel right at home. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I provide a secure environment with a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play. To give you peace of mind, I am happy to send frequent photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see how much fun they are having. For walks, I utilize multiple leashes and harnesses to ensure every outing is secure and controlled. Whether in my home or yours, I maintain a vigilant eye and follow all specific care instructions to keep your furry family member happy and safe.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes my whole life. And for the past 8+ years, I’ve cared for dogs for neighbors, friends, and family. I currently have a Zara, a sweet and calm Golden Retriever, that is ready to play anytime, and a cat Logan, he loves to spend his day exploring outside. From energetic puppies who need extra playtime to older dogs who need gentle care, I’m comfortable with every personality and routine. I love long walks, belly rubs, and making sure pets feel loved and safe while their owners are away. I’m also happy to stick to your pet’s exact schedule. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I know how important communication is, so I’ll always try to give updates. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I’m home most of the day and can give plenty of attention to your pets. After I drop my two kids off at school in the morning, I have a very flexible schedule for walks, playtime, feedings, and cuddles throughout the day. I’m also available most evenings and weekends for pet sitting or special requests. I have a fenced yard, a very friendly Golden Retriever who loves making new friends, and a cat who enjoys lounging outdoors during the day. I always supervise outside playtime and can separate pets if needed to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I follow your pet’s routine closely, keep fresh water available at all times.
“Wonderful… my dog usually would not want to leave me but upon arrival she didn’t bark and had no issues going in due to the energy given. She came out calm demeanor and smiling.”

“Awesome experience! Susie was super quick to respond and very flexible with my timing. She sent pictures with updates and kept me informed while I was gone. My dog was happy and tired when I picked him up after the day.”

“Rebecca was professional and asked questions to make sure she provided the best care for our dog. She gave us photo updates on how he was doing. Overall, we are pleased with the service. We would have her watch our fur baby again.”
About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. I live in a fantastic walking neighborhood and can happily meet you in yours or bring them to mine. Can never get too much exercise in! Plus, my big fully fenced in yard is at their disposal.
About: Although I'm new to Rover I have been dog sitting for years, now that I'm retired and have too much free time on my hands I decided to bump it up a notch. I love dogs and my papillon is getting up there in age and lost her sister and this is a great way to give her company and a buddy. I am retired and home more than away. Weather permitting I spend most of my time enjoying the outdoors playing and working in my yard. I have two beautiful landscaped fully fenced acres, lots of room for your fur babies to run and play. My home is well set up for extra paws. I have one senior papillon who could use a buddy.
About: My wife, Connie, a retired nurse, and I have had six dogs over 35 years. We miss them dearly. I have raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years so I understand the patience, structure and affection that go with it. I am retired from my legal practice of 35 years, and very active. I love long walks and have a nice fenced backyard if pet sitting is needed. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle companionship or just someone who treats them like family I’m committed to make them feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for. After being self-employed for 35 years I am looking for something to keep me busy and I can’t think of a better way to spend my time. I have a very flexible schedule so I am basically available 24/7. In my home I will provide a warm, clean environment, plenty of attention and lots of outdoor activity since I’m an active retired person with plenty of time to give.
“Alex and his family have been amazing! Their property is the perfect place for dogs to play! It's easy to see how much they love dogs with how they take care for all their needs. Alex is very accommodating, communication is fantastic and I get to watch my little girl play via Instagram and the many videos that are posted there. I will definitely be a repeat customer!”

“Another awesome day with Damon and his doggos. Uki always leaves so tired and happy. She’s still tired the next day and has really blossomed in her social skills.”

About: Before I had my own dog, I helped family and neighbors with overnight care of their dogs for many years. I developed a soft heart for our furry friends. Now that my own pup has passed, I have time and love to give to yours. I work at home and have a flexible schedule. We will have plenty of time for walks and playing. I’m looking forward to meeting your dog. I have a small home with a fenced yard and I live across the street from a lovely park. I will only care for up to 2 dogs at a time so you can be sure your pet gets the care and attention they need.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, having cats growing up and later volunteering with dogs at rescue orgs. My time as a training class assistant for Puppy Manners and New Dog Basics at the San Francisco SPCA gave me valuable skills in positive reinforcement training, socialization, and handling dogs of all temperaments. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, having owned and leased several. I’m comfortable with feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, brushing, and general equine care, making me a well-rounded caregiver for multi-pet households. What sets me apart is my ability to care for pets at all life stages—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort. With a deep understanding of pet behavior across species and a passion for ensuring their happiness and well-being, I go beyond basic care to provide engaging, enriching, and compassionate pet companionship. After our Husky mix’s TPLO surgery in Fall 2024, I’ve decided to make pet care my main focus. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and this shift allows me to dedicate my time and energy to providing top-quality care for pets in my community. With a flexible schedule, I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and customized care based on each pet’s needs. Whether it’s a midday walk, feeding and playtime, or extra TLC for pets recovering from surgery, I tailor my services to fit both routine and special care requirements. No matter the time of day, I ensure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. In my clients’ homes, I respect each pet’s unique routine and environment, providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. Whether it’s reinforcing training, maintaining feeding schedules, or ensuring a calm presence while you're away, I treat every pet like they’re my own. No matter the setting, I focus on creating a safe, stress-free, and enriching experience for pets—so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands.

“Trang and her husband are great with dogs. First of, Trang responded to my request on a very short notice and agreed to watch the pups on the holidays as well. It was my first time leaving my dogs with someone outside of my immediate family and I was pretty nervous myself. They made sure to send me updates on how my dogs are doing, including photos and videos. If I had any questions they responded quickly. Overall, they are very sweet and caring and I would definitely recommend them as dog sitters. Thank you guys for making our trip to Boulder go smoothly!”

“Ava is an amazing host! This was Dexter's second time with her, although a much shorter stay, Dexter came back home wiped out from all of the playing. I feel very comfortable whenever Dexter's over there playing because I know he's getting love and attention! Highly recommended.”

I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.

About: I have had animals my entire life. I currently have a dog and two cats. My senior dog, Pete, passed away on 8/6 at 18. I am comfortable with dogs and cats if all ages, meds, and any other needs they may have. I’m a teacher so I can care for pets before/after school, over weekends. I can do drop ins and long weekend care as well. I can also do morning and afternoon walks. In my home, I am happy to host any dogs over the weekends who are dog and cat friendly. My cats don’t do well with unknown cats, but I can definitely drop in at your home. My home is very clean, safe, and zoned off for various animals. I have gates on my stairs, a gated yard, and locks on all the interior doors.

“Katie and her husband are simply the best! We are always reassured that Luna is in great loving hands when we head out of town and its one less thing to worry about. She always comes back happy and healthy. Katie is our go to and preferred sitter for Luna and we can tell our pup loves Katie and her family too! Thank you as always! :)”

“The last thing a pet parent wants is to worry about their beloved furry baby while traveling. Hayleigh provided just the right amount of love and care to Dash. I’m so grateful for sitters who truly love dogs and understand dog behaviors. Dash is by no means a problematic dog but he experienced some anxiety with another sitter that I had no choice but to switch sitters mid booking. Hayleigh was a comfort and even arranged to pick him up at previous sitter. I have no doubt she knows what she’s doing. Thank you!”

“My Fluffy was well taken care of and I was sent pictures while away. I love that Peter is at home all day so my dog that is used to bring with me isn't alone all day.”

“Amy was great! Leia was well taken care of and given plenty of loves and plays, which I’m sure she appreciated during her stay-cation. We’ll be certain to keep Amy in mind the next time we’re in need of a sitter.”

“Our dog Phil loves spending time at Cassandra’s! We received daily/every other day pictures and updates on how Phil was doing. Very appreciated to know that our pup was being taken care of so well ❤️”

“Amanda and her family were fantastic. We were confident to leave our dog and was able to enjoy our trip fully without worrying about our furry member of family. She sent me photos and updates daily. Thanks again!”

“Really great dog sitters for my dog Mango. I just know every time I book with Saawan and Kangna, my anxious dog calms down so much! I love seeing the updates and photos of Mango having fun playing and relaxing. Will rebook and highly recommend these two for great service.”

“Chloe was great with our 8 yr old lab! She was very flexible and worked with us on scheduling for PU and drop off. Zoey was happy and healthy when she came home. We will definitely use her again!”

“Finley had the absolute BEST time with Manisha and her family. They showered him with love and attention and sent many many pictures and videos to let us know how he was doing. We had complete peace of mind while we were away. Thank you, Manisha!!”
