About: I love animals!!! I’ve cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, and even horses for over 10 years. Choose me to care for your special little critter or critters, I’ll treat them like my own Most days I wake up early in the morning and let my cat inside and feed him and give him some love before I leave for school or lift. When I get back he’s usually waiting for me outside the door so we can hangout! After we’re done hanging out I clean his litter box and make sure he has his gourmet dinner that he has everyday. I take care of my cat spooky everyday by feeding him, cleaning his litter box often, deshedding him, and giving him lots of love and cuddles, and I can do the same for your critters. About: I was born and raised on a ranch caring for many types of animals. I have extended my background from cows, horses and sheep to training, breeding and so much more with dogs. About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. About: I grew up on a farm and have experience caring for animals of all sizes, disabilities, and those that require senior care. I can do walks, drop in’s, and dog sit while you’re away. About: I was born into a family of German Shepherd lovers, and grew up primarily taking care of our German Shepherds until about 10 years old when we also adopted cats and labradors. Once I graduated college, I adopted an 8 week old Alaskan malamute, who I cared for his entire 11 years of life until he passed just recently this past January. I am not ready to adopt again, but am missing the presence of dogs in my life and looking to fill that space by helping friends, family, neighbors and members of the community with their dog care needs. I am experienced with puppies, high maintenance animals, and especially with large breeds (my boy was 150lbs at a healthy weight and required at least 5 miles of exercise a day). I am kind, caring, uniquely experienced, energetic and reliable. I currently am only working/unavailable late Saturday and Sunday nights, and am extremely active during the week. I have plenty of free time in general. I am respectful to how you’d like your dog to be taken care of in your home and out and about, and also have my own set of everything (leashes, crate, toys, beds, etc) if need be.

Since I was 15, I have been pet sitting for friends, family, and my neighbors which has given me experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, personalities, and levels of need. Outside of work hours, I will be available to provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship to ensure your pet feels happy and well cared for. My goal is always to make pets feel safe and cared for while maintaining their routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client's home, I will follow all instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, basic bathing and grooming and any special needs. I also make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a clean environment. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to get to know them and build trust. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm routine, I adapt my care to meet their needs. I can also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they are away. I am also willing to do basic home care and cleaning for the client while I am staying in their home.

About: I have done overnight sitting and care for different families and animals for over 6 years. I stay with the animal in your home and do feedings, play time and anything else needed. 😊 I work from home part time and outside of the house part time as well. It’s a new schedule for me and can be back in home after my 6 hour shifts. I can accommodate any special needs or amount of time that is unique to each family. I always provide what is needed for each individual animal and the highest care. I follow instructions given and provide ample communication and check in’s for the owners to provide peace of mind.

About: I worked at a vet clinic for 3.5 years but due to life changes I now work at a pet store and petsit to continue to work with animals while I work towards my goal of working in vet med again. I have been my own friends’ and family’s pet sitter for the past 5 years and I treat every animal as if they were my own while in my care.
