About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. I live in a fantastic walking neighborhood and can happily meet you in yours or bring them to mine. Can never get too much exercise in! Plus, my big fully fenced in yard is at their disposal.

Rich came to my place with piglet for meet and greet with my 3 smalls . He shared with me how much anxiety he was having trying to find the exact right fit for piglet. I have 3 dogs. Doyle is my fear dog (He has come ALONG ways in 5 short years. He immediately ran up to Rich and put his feet on his legs so he could pet him. “My elderly Austrailian Shepherd (15, lame, mostly deaf and blind) had an awesome stay with Bonnie, her very sweet, well behaved dog and two or three other boarding dogs for 10 days!! I hate leaving my old fellow for that long but I got pictures and updates every day that kept me abreast of how well he was doing. I think he actually enjoyed his time with his new friends. Bonnie is obviously sensitive and skilled as a doggy care provider! I will use her services again.”

“Ron is the first non-Shiba-breeder person who we boarded our Shiba boy with, and Tanuki was well taken care of by Ron! Emma and Ron were able to loosen up Tanuki after an evening, and Tanuki really appreciated being able to lounge on furniture and beds. Being worried parents, we were comforted by Ron’s regular updates on our boy. We’re all very happy to have Ron to send Tanuki to for short trips!”

It was great to have him stay in a conveniently-located single family home, with a grass backyard, and a caretaker that’s not overly multi-tasking or away during his stay. I received substantive and picture updates often. 2Pac came back clean and content. I also appreciated flexible scheduling for drop-off/pick-up and the opportunity for a pre-meet & greet at a nearby park to help acclimate. We’d definitely book again.”
