Ringo can be a little anxious in new environments such as while we’re away but Juliann was very understanding and willing to do whatever she could to provide a calm and comfortable environment for Ringo. Should we need a place for Ringo to stay again, I will feel very fortunate if Juliann’s schedule is free and Ringo can stay with her again.”

I adopted My Own Cat promptly upon turning 18 (in 2002); Khaki was with me for 18 years, outliving his adopted brother Leo (my sister’s cat), who ended up living with me as well. I’ve also cared for my exes cat (Alli), and my son’s first cat (Lady Grey), and my current grand cats, Cas and Zizi. I am comfortable with litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. I have experience helping cats with ear, eye, gastrointestinal, and kidney problems. I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. About: Although I'm new to Rover I have been dog sitting for years, now that I'm retired and have too much free time on my hands I decided to bump it up a notch. I love dogs and my papillon is getting up there in age and lost her sister and this is a great way to give her company and a buddy. I am retired and home more than away. Weather permitting I spend most of my time enjoying the outdoors playing and working in my yard. I have two beautiful landscaped fully fenced acres, lots of room for your fur babies to run and play. My home is well set up for extra paws. I have one senior papillon who could use a buddy.
About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. I live in a fantastic walking neighborhood and can happily meet you in yours or bring them to mine. Can never get too much exercise in! Plus, my big fully fenced in yard is at their disposal.
“Blessed finally someone I can trust Eileen and Rich found me on Rover. They were looking for a sitter for there pup as their beloved long time sitter had moved. Rich came to my place with piglet for meet and greet with my 3 smalls . He shared with me how much anxiety he was having trying to find the exact right fit for piglet. I have 3 dogs. Doyle is my fear dog (He has come ALONG ways in 5 short years. He immediately ran up to Rich and put his feet on his legs so he could pet him. They watched the pack for me one day and it was the first time I had ever left Doyle with anyone and even tho I was a little nervous that Doyle would try to escape to come find me I knew they would be watching him like a hawk. Just a short time later I received a photo from Eileen comfy on the couch with all the dogs (even Doyle!) Laying on her and snuggling. I will also add that piglet is very well behaved has excellent social skills , and over all just a well balanced dog. Says a lot about her parents! I know once you see how well cared and loved your pet is there you will not to leave them with anyone else! About: I worked at a vet clinic for 3.5 years but due to life changes I now work at a pet store and petsit to continue to work with animals while I work towards my goal of working in vet med again. About: I’ve owned dogs since I was a baby, and started dog sitting in my neighborhood when I was just 13. I’ve stayed overnight, popped in for walks, feeding, and quality time, and have even taken dogs to appointments! I love to go on walks, but also be calm at home, I’m always down to play, but I’m also down to take a nap when they’re tuckered out! I’m currently part time at build a bear and attending cosmetology school! So when I’m off school and off work I’ve got plenty of time with the babies! My shifts at work typically range from 5-7 hours at the most, and from Thursday-Saturday I attend school from 9-4:30 in Willsonville. I sometimes will have work after school till 7pm or 8, but will always let you know ahead of time to avoid conflict! I’m not easily annoyed, and am very sweet on animals, I can be firm if needed, take a dog potty, and crate them. With cats I can make sure they stay out of things they don’t need to be in, and make sure everyone is happy overall!
