I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelsi! From day one, it was clear how genuinely caring, patient, and attentive she is with my puppy Lucy. She treats her like her own, making sure she’s safe, happy, well-exercised, and loved. I always receive great updates and photos, which gives me total peace of mind knowing Lucy is in such good hands. Her reliability, communication, and obvious love for dogs truly sets her apart. I am so grateful to have found someone I trust completely and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog—especially puppies!

About: My wife, Connie, a retired nurse, and I have had six dogs over 35 years. We miss them dearly. I have raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years so I understand the patience, structure and affection that go with it. I am retired from my legal practice of 35 years, and very active. I love long walks and have a nice fenced backyard if pet sitting is needed. Only your dog(s) will be in our care during your booking. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle companionship or just someone who treats them like family I’m committed to make them feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for. After being self-employed for 35 years I am looking for something to keep me busy and I can’t think of a better way to spend my time and I have a very flexible schedule. In my home I will provide a warm, clean environment, plenty of attention and lots of outdoor activity since I’m active and retired, with plenty of time to give. And again, your pup will also be the only one I care for during his/her stay…

About: I had been pet sitting regularly for clients in Bailey, CO for the past five years until we moved down to Mesquite, NV. They had an English and Bull Mastiff plus horses, goats and chickens. I take care of dogs for my friends who have recommended me to other clients over the course of the last fifteen years. I am a total dog lover and love to stop and pet each and every one I come across. I take daily walks, weather permitting, with the dogs I am taking care of, including the English Mastiff! Because I do not have a full time job, I am available weekdays and weekends and am very flexible regarding times. I love and treat each dog as my own. I moved from Mesquite to Woodburn, OR 2 years ago and am starting to get back into dog sitting again. So please reach out if you need to board your dog at my house. I have a home with a nice backyard and am close to Centennial Park which has two dog parks, one for smaller dogs and the other for the bigger ones. Pet sitting and dog walking are my only job. I can devote all my time each day to taking care of your pets. I will take your pups for a walk or a jog each day I have them and give them all the attention they want. I have a fenced in backyard that we can play in. I do let pets on my furniture if it’s ok with the client. I will totally love on your pup until they feel comfortable and safe in my home.

Lauren was great! She was flexible & accommodating, loved on our Tucker dog, who can have high separation anxiety, and communicated with us through the day to let us know how he was doing and to verify any concerns. It was a blessing to have her watch him for the day, allowing him to join us on this trip but to know he was in good hands while we completed activities he could not join us for. We would definitely use Lauren again!

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and a proud dog mom to my Mini Australian Shepherd, who has taught me so much about patience, training, and providing loving care. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, learning new tricks, or simply relaxing with lots of cuddles, I’m happy to tailor my care to what makes them happiest. I believe pets thrive with consistency, patience, and plenty of affection. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. I’ll make sure they get the exercise, attention, potty breaks, fresh water, meals, and love they deserve while you’re away. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in good hands. I know how much our pets mean to us because I feel the same way about mine. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member and give them the same care and love I’d want for my own!💜 I do have my own dog, Samson, who is a very friendly and gentle dog. He is not aggressive and is used to being around other animals. For any overnight stays or daycare, I make sure all pets have a safe, comfortable environment and that introductions are done slowly and appropriately. I always prioritize each pet’s individual needs, comfort level, and safety while they are in my care. I do have a fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I treat every pet like they are part of my own family. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment where pets can feel secure while their owners are away. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, medications, exercise needs, and any special preferences their pet may have. In my home, I make sure pets have a clean space, plenty of attention, playtime, and opportunities to relax. My own dog, Samson, is friendly, gentle, and not aggressive, and I make sure all introductions are done slowly and safely so every pet feels comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s normal routine as much as possible. My goal is to provide dependable care, patience, and lots of love so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.

Susie and her wonderful family are absolutely a dream come true! I'm so happy I found them. I've used daycare facilities for my little pug, Olive, in the past and she used to come home semi-traumatized by the experience. Definitely not the case with Susie. The second we pulled into her driveway, Olive had her tail wagging and couldn't wait to spend the day with Susie and family! Susie was sooo sweet and I know her daughter loved little Olive too...I can't speak highly enough of them. Seriously, if you're debating who to go with for your doggy...go with Susie. She is kind, extremely flexible, experienced and has such a warm and inviting home. Thank you so much for taking care of my little fur baby...10/10 would recommend and will 100% be taking Olive to Susie for all future daycare!?❤

Dottie is a dog guru! Keisha stays with Dottie at least twice a week and is completely at home which is saying a lot for a pup with anxiety. Dottie has tons of experience and I never have to worry that my old pup is in the best hands. Everyday the dogs get a lovely walk through the park next door; and if it's raining, Dottie has renovated her garage into a temperature controlled doggie play space and lounge. I wish I got to stay somewhere as nice! No doubt in my mind, with Dottie my dog is spoiled.

Very happy with my dogs stay at Hannah and her husbands house! She came home today tired as can be.(Even taking her on hikes, my pup is usually still extremely hyper) It was my dogs first time in a group with more than 3 dogs and Hannah sent me pics of her throughout the day and she was having a blast. Can’t get a better value than what she and her husband offer!

I left my dog with Brianna while I was sightseeing and everything went well! I really appreciated Brianna’s conscientiousness when it came to an intro and learning everything about my dog; she has a lot of knowledge but is also eager to learn specifics that will make your dog feel comfortable. She sent updates and let me know what was happening throughout the day. I would absolutely use Brianna again if I’m in the area!

We had our 2 pups stay with Roxanne while we were taking a daytrip to the coast, with the hope that by having them run around and play all day they'd be tired puppers when we got back. Mission accomplished! They were a little hyper when we picked them up because they were happy to see us again, but once we got home they were both EXHAUSTED. It looked like there were 4 other pups staying with Roxanne that day from the pictures she sent during the day, and from what she said they had a blast playing together. I loved how fast Roxanne was to respond to messages, as it made it easy to coordinate for dropoff/pickup. Thank you!

My 4-month-old puppy had an absolute blast with Kayley. Communicating with her was a breeze. She's very easygoing, quick to respond, and attentive to details. Kayley always gave me updates on how my pup was doing throughout the day and sent cute pictures and/or videos. This was my first time using Rover and I'm so glad to have had Kayley watch my little one!

I am a fearful pet parent for my little reactive street dog and Damon put us at ease with the time he took for a meet and greet, then booking a day boarding, then an overnight with him before we go away for a week leaving our little guy in his care. I was very hesitant because he has a larger group of dogs, but he is so organized in how he introduces and works with them that our dog came back tired but vey happy. He is super competent, kind and unbelievably NEAT and clean. I couldn't believe he took time to send videos and pictures. this is obviously his superpower. I feel confident in his judgment and his ability to handle anything that comes along calmly.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 1,660 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Hubbard. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Hubbard commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,660 sitters in Hubbard, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
