“Maleny is incredible! She watched my 7 year old cat over the holidays and every day she sent detailed reports and took over 10 photos every visit! Above and beyond! We are so grateful for her watching our usually anxious boy but even our boy fell in love with her. She sat with him every day and met him where he was which made all the difference for our cat. Her photos show he was happy to see her and approached her so I know she is incredibly kind and gentle or else he wouldn’t have bothered coming up to her for pets. As long as Maleny is available, she is always welcome to look after our cat- we will always seek her first for anymore travels we have!”

About: I grew up with a dog, and have always lived with either a dog or cat as an adult. My heart just fills with joy when I am around all four legged friends. I currently work full time as a pediatric medical assistant, but would be happy to come by after work to take care of any sweet dog or cat. I have raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years so I understand the patience, structure and affection that go with it. I am retired from my legal practice of 35 years, and very active. I love long walks and have a nice fenced backyard if pet sitting is needed. Only your dog(s) will be in our care during your booking. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle companionship or just someone who treats them like family I’m committed to make them feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for. After being self-employed for 35 years I am looking for something to keep me busy and I can’t think of a better way to spend my time and I have a very flexible schedule. In my home I will provide a warm, clean environment, plenty of attention and lots of outdoor activity since I’m active and retired, with plenty of time to give. And again, your pup will be the only one I care for during his/her stay…

About: Ive had dogs my entire life. Ive taken care of dogs of all ages, size, and temperaments. I currently have an elderly blind chihuahua, and a corgi mix who is reactive. I recently left my job of 4 years due to lack of proper management. Im taking classes through Chemeketa but my schedule is very flexible. It’s important that all animals feel safe and respected around me. I’m not easily startled by reactive animals, all it takes is a little time to grow comfort.

About: I don’t live in Aurora, but I split my time between Portland and Salem. If you live in the Portland area or Salem area or anywhere in between, I am happy to help you with your pet sitting needs. I grew up with cats, dogs, and chickens. My earliest pet care was at the age of 10 taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats while they were gone. In my adult life, I've had one cat and 4 dogs. My current dog is a Standard Poodle named Percy. He's a huge love! I know your pets are your heart, too. I strive to give your pets my best love and care while you're gone, just like I would want someone to give Percy! I currently work from home, so I can pop in or stay over easily. I would hope that your pet is able to walk with Percy, because he would hate to be left out of the fun. Each pet is unique and will be respected. Grouchy kitty under the bed?? I had a wonderful Rottweiler for 9 years and we enjoyed beautiful hikes, brisk nightly walks and serene moments at the coast.
