About: Hi! My name is Lauren, and I’m a responsible, caring, and reliable pet lover. I’ve grown up around dogs and cats and have experience caring for pets for family, friends, and neighbors. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, or lots of love and attention, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and boarding in my home. I do work a few hostess shifts during the week, but they’re only for a few hours, so I have a flexible schedule. Afternoons work best, but I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. Your pet will get plenty of attention, exercise, and love while they’re in my care. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have a very clean, pet-friendly home with a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. I don’t have any pets of my own, so your pet will have my full attention and a calm environment to relax in. I love spending time with animals, whether that’s going for walks, playing outside, giving cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I’ll send lots of cute photo updates so you can feel connected while you’re away. I also keep treats on hand (if approved by you!), and if an emergency ever came up, I have a trusted veterinarian just down the road for added peace of mind.

This training, combined with my hands-on experience as a dog bather, has made me confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m comfortable reading body language, keeping dogs calm, and ensuring they feel secure and well cared for. Caring for animals is part of my daily routine, and I prioritize both structure and attention. Dogs are fed on schedule, given regular supervised outdoor time in my fenced yard, and have time to play and relax in a calm environment. I am available most weekdays after 3 pm and all day on Sundays. During boarding and daycare stays, there is always an adult present in the home to ensure supervision. I am the primary caregiver and handle the majority of care, but pets are never left unattended. In my home, pets are cared for in a safe, clean, and structured environment. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and a pet friendly indoor space where dogs can relax comfortably. Dogs are never left outside unattended, and safety is always my top priority. I maintain a calm setting and monitor interactions carefully to ensure everyone stays comfortable. I follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions you provide. My goal is to create a secure, consistent environment where every pet feels safe and well cared for.

I’m basically semi retired and I make my own schedule and have a lot of free time I’m super affectionate and love playing with dogs. “This past weekend we went away last minute, after looking unsuccessfully for someone to board our dog Holly based on a friend's recommendation. We were out of luck. I then checked out Rover and found Julie, thank goodness she was available at such short notice. Making plans and arrangements were seamless, you could tell she loves dogs (all animals) and would enjoy taking care of our Holly. Julie was 100% flexible with drop-off and pickup times, followed all our instructions for Holly. Julie sent regular pictures or communication of how the day was going, which I appreciated tremendously because Holly is a puppy and we haven't been away from her since we got her. Holly seemed to enjoy herself, she got to play with 2 other dogs and she even met Julie's cats and they all got along wonderfully.
