About: I have taken care of dogs since my grandparents first got there when I was 5 years old. I know how to walk, feed, bathe, administer medications to all ages! I currently am a student and on my free time would love to walk, watch, sit, play with your animal! Usually in the afternoons and anytime on weekends! I have grown up with both cats and dogs and know how to care for both of them. I would cuddle on your fur babies like they were my own!

About: Twelve years ago I decided to become a puppy raiser for the Guide Dog Foundation of Smithtown. I was paired with the sweetest 8-week old yellow lab named Bea. Through the puppy raising program, I gained experience teaching Bea positive socialization, basic obedience, and ideal house manners. I was an elementary teacher at the time and Bea came with me to school every day. Bea eventually became a breeder for the foundation and I became her caretaker, seeing her through three pregnancies. Bea retired after that, and I officially adopted her. I am currently a stay-at-home mom so my schedule is flexible to suit your pet's needs. My kids (8 and 5) are in school during the day, so daily walks are convenient. I have a fenced in yard for your dog to run around freely. My 12 year old lab Bea will be here to keep your dog company and curl up with on the couch.

“I boarded my large Shepherd/Lab mix dog when I had to travel last minute for a funeral. I want to thank Alex from the bottom of my heart for being so nice and accommodating for me in such an emotional and stressful time. Such a sweetheart. Lucky had a great time at her beautiful lake house with a huge fenced yard for him to run around. Alex was great, let me leave lucky with a toy and food (he has special food) and Alex stuck to the feeding schedule I needed him to be on. I really appreciated it.
