“We had to get work done to our house and or dog couldn't be home during the day. I looked at other options and they just didn't fit what we needed. We'd have to take off some hours from work as the construction was done on our house. I hopped onto Rover and quickly found Ashley. The rates were affordable and her profile really stood out as someone who cares about pets. We consider our dog, Amber, one of our children. Ashley was amazing with pick up and drop off. Always on time which was great because we wanted Amber to be picked up before the workers got there. When we got home from work Ashley would drop her off. My dog gets anxious easily and that, in turn, made me anxious about her being with someone she didn't know in a place she had never been. But Ashley was reassuring and great with her, even in the car ride which Amber usually despises. Ashley sent pictures and updates of Amber relaxing and being happy each day. Highly recommended. “This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

My children love it and we respect the opportunity and strive to gain relationships with local community members. I am a homeowner with a full femce and a double gate system. I rotate packs or 1:1 for playtime/potty time. I have 2 sweet medium sized dogs. Both are crate trained and excellent demeanors. I work from home only caring for the dogs. There are no other jobs to interfere. My children are 10 & 11 years old, are homeschooled, & young employees that love pups. When we created our private doggie suite, I was thinking of all the things I would want our dogs to have if we were away. Our checklist of amenities include: - private couch/futon for lounging - clean fresh water bowls 24/7 - several breaks for play time outside - 24 hour recorded camera monitoring in - secured locked doors -AC and/or heat & fans with temp alerts - TV and ALEXA/echo music - fenced secure yard - easily cleaned floors **rates are for 24 hour periods. After 24 hours, it’s $10 an hour. - puppies and tiny dogs may stay in smaller secure area or my be bought in our home. -LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION ❤️ When taking care of dogs, it's important to provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Here are some fun activities I can do with the dogs I watch: Walking is a great way to provide dogs with exercise and mental stimulation. I Choose different routes and places to walk, such as a local park, beach, or hiking trail. Most dogs love playing fetch. I can take your dog or dogs with your permission to a fenced dog's park and play a game of fetch with a ball or frisbee. Dogs love to play with toys, such as squeaky toys or tug ropes.

She kept me updated with plenty of great photos, responded quickly to all my messages, took Skye on multiple walks, and made sure she was well-fed and given lots of attention. Skye came home happily exhausted! Holly was also incredibly sweet and welcoming, and the rest of her family clearly showed Skye so much love while she was there.
