“This past weekend we went away last minute, after looking unsuccessfully for someone to board our dog Holly based on a friend's recommendation. We were out of luck. I then checked out Rover and found Julie, thank goodness she was available at such short notice. Making plans and arrangements were seamless, you could tell she loves dogs (all animals) and would enjoy taking care of our Holly. Julie was 100% flexible with drop-off and pickup times, followed all our instructions for Holly. “Having just moved to Long Island, my husband and I were in search of a reliable dog sitter for our dog, Kilo. We always had friends watch him in Miami, and were a bit nervous leaving Kilo with a stranger for 3 nights. Initially, we checked out some kennels in the area, and found them quite depressing. From the booking through to the end of our dog’s stay with Melissa, Melissa was a wonderful person and dog sitter. This was my first Rover stay for my very shy dog and it was fantastic! My dog was comfortable from the moment she met Melissa. Melissa is very calm and was thoughtful about how she met our dog. Her dog is adorable and our two dogs got along well. Melissa has a large backyard and so our dog had a lot of space to sniff and hang out. Melissa was communicative during the stay knowing we weren’t sure how our dog would do, so that was helpful. Our dog had three great days with Melissa and we are so grateful for that! Melissa is a great dog sitter who I can’t recommend highly enough!
