I had an outstanding experience with Melissa caring for our 11 year old Maltipoo Wonton. Wonton has IBD and requires quite a bit of specific requirements and Melissa was just wonderful with her. She took the time to understand her IBD before we even got there! She heard what Wonton enjoys like pool splashes and catching water with the hose & provided fun experiences with her! Her pictures spoke volumes of how happy Wonton was. I could not have asked for a more caring pet sitter and we are grateful to Melissa and her adorable Dog Fellini!
From the booking through to the end of our dog’s stay with Melissa, Melissa was a wonderful person and dog sitter. This was my first Rover stay for my very shy dog and it was fantastic! My dog was comfortable from the moment she met Melissa. Melissa is very calm and was thoughtful about how she met our dog. Her dog is adorable and our two dogs got along well. Melissa has a large backyard and so our dog had a lot of space to sniff and hang out. Melissa was communicative during the stay knowing we weren’t sure how our dog would do, so that was helpful. Our dog had three great days with Melissa and we are so grateful for that! Melissa is a great dog sitter who I can’t recommend highly enough!
I would give 100 stars if I could! Pickle had the actual time of his life with Melissa this past weekend! She’s the BEST! I couldn’t be more grateful for how attentive, communicative and caring Melissa was, it really felt like he was staying with family for the weekend! I was so comfortable leaving him with her and she 100% will be my first call the next time we need someone. Her home and yard were a dream, her dog Fellini was such an awesome play mate and Melissa herself is incredible and made him feel at home the entire time. He was honestly sad to leave! If you need someone who will love and care for your pet as if they are their own, look no further!

My dog had a great day with Melissa!
She kept our dogs safe and happy and her space is a paradise for pets. They had such a great day and we are so grateful that Melissa took such great care of them. She was super responsive, sent pictures, and treated them like her own dogs. They didn’t want to leave!

Schedule
I work just one mile from home and am able to come home during my lunch break, so dogs in my care are never left alone for more than three hours at a time on weekdays. Mornings start with a potty break, breakfast, and some attention before I head to work. I return at lunch for another potty break, playtime, and any midday care needed. After work, I’m home for the evening with plenty of time for walks, dinner, and play.

Dogs in my care spend a lot of time outside and enjoying our large yard. I love keeping dogs active with plenty of opportunities to run, explore, and burn off energy in a safe space.

A typical day
Days are relaxed and built around your dog’s routine. Mornings usually begin with breakfast followed by plenty of outdoor playtime in our large, grassy, fully fenced yard—perfect for fetch, running, and safe exploring. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy multiple backyard breaks, interactive playtime, and walks. We live in a quiet community with a perfect ¼-mile cul-de-sac walk, and for dogs who enjoy longer outings, the bay is about a mile away and makes a great walk as well. Evenings are calm and cozy, with dinner, more outdoor time, and lots of affection before settling in for the night.
