About: I graduated in 2018 from Umass Amherst with my Bachelors of science Pre-veterinary medicine. I have worked as a technician as well as a veterinary receptionist in animal hospitals. I am confident handling most animals, livestock, birds, dogs, cats and I have amateur skills with reptiles and horses. I took a small animal CPR course and can administer medications. I have personally owned 3 dogs, a bird, and many fish throughout my life. I am looking for extra work and have a very flexible schedule. I will typically be available most days and weekends, so don't hesitate to ask! I have a pre-veterinary bachelors degree and plenty of experience handling small pets I have a semi fenced large yard in the suburb area. I have two runs set up in the backyard, both allowing plenty of freedom. I have one dog, Digby. He is a mixed King Charles Cavalier spaniel and poodle. Digby is 6 years old and about 30lbs. He is sort of timid around other dogs but once he knows everything is safe, he loves to play! I live with my mother and my father.

About: Although I have less experience in dog care in comparison to taking care of cats, I live an active lifestyle and am fully capable of going on walks with any dog’s typical walk regime. As a student who’s home for the summer, I have a flexible schedule I dedicate to spending time with my or any of my friends’ pets. I care for pets by referring to the owners and following any procedures based on the pet’s needs. I’m capable of basic maintenance and problem solving.

About: I have volunteered at a couple of local animal shelters over the duration of 2 years for multiple hours a day! While I only have a certain amount of professional experience, I also own 2 domestic long haired cats who I’ve raised for the last 4 years. I specialize in cat care on a private setting and dog care on a professional setting. I have many available days within my weekly calendar to fit pet sitting and pet walking into my schedule. I have open availability until further notice! Please feel free to reach out and we can make something work. I currently own two beautiful domestic long haired cats. Their daily routine consists of a strong high moisture diets, supplements that cater to their needs, rotation of toys when under supervision, 100% cat safe toys when unsupervised, cat scratchers, fur and dental care, routine vet visits, litter box scoops multiple times a day, and more.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I've cared for all types of dogs from dachshunds to pitbulls; toy poodles to great danes. No dog is too excitable or too strong to handle. I am an active person and will make sure your dog gets lots of exercise. My husband and I like to make sure all pups end the day happy and tired. With a large yard on a quiet street, you pet will feel right at home here. I work from home every day aside from Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a lenient job that I can walk away from when needed. I can take the dog out at any time of day, and have a long lunch break for walks, and plenty of time in the evening for play. I've sat many pets in their own home, and have been able to learn how they behave in their own environment and adapt accordingly. Respecting people's spaces is a top priority, and I always make sure to leave a home exactly as I found it. I have a large home with plenty of outdoor space at the end of a quiet cul da sac. The back yard is secluded and very safe. We do not keep food out, and we make sure no plants that can harm animals ever enter the home. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with very few cars. Most all other dogs in the area have interacted with dogs we have babysat, and are very friendly and well trained.

About: I love dogs and cats! I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk. I have friends who own cats, and I enjoy getting to know them as well.

About: I've taken care of cats my entire life! Since I was little I always had cats along with 1 dog. I just recently handled kitty hospice with my cat and managed medications 2x a day. I have taken care of my friends dogs several times and consider myself their auntie!! I love all animals and would to meet and help all the animals I can I am working full time but am looking to help out majority of the time on weekends along with Monday and Fridays. I am completely available on Saturdays, open morning afternoon and evening Sundays, Mondays and Fridays after 4pm. I currently have 3 cats in my own with endless amount of beds and toys scattered. They have their own condos and beds. I would make sure to ensure every animal is safe and secure. Check all the windows and doors and do a head count before leaving. I will always make sure the animals is safe and okay!

About: All my life I’ve had a variety of different animals all including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits, etc. You name it, I have owned it. In some time spans all at the same time. I would love to take all this experience that I was fortunate enough to obtain throughout the years and bring it to your home! I am currently enrolled at the Western New England University. At the time being as I am on summer break I am looking for something to do to take up all this newly acquired time. As well as make some extra money to go towards my tuitions. Since I have a love for animals I thought this was the perfect opportunity for me. At the moment I currently have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits and a cocktail. As you can imagine yes they can certainly be a handful but I couldnt imagine my life without them. Each and everyone being on a schedule of their own which is always never a problem.

About: I have grown up with dogs and I have trained my grandmas dog before and I took a vet tech class and learned about training dogs as well I am currently working part time at stop and shop but I always have one or two days off and am free to spend overnights at your home:) I have a fenced in backyard and lots of toys in my backyard and have two wonderful fur babies of my own in my home their names are Lola and Harry

About: Hello! My name is Amanda. I live in Tolland, CT with my husband and son. I have a lifetime of experience with animals of all kinds. Growing up I always had dogs and/or cats, as well as several other types of pets. I worked in a pet grooming salon for 6 1/2 years, and a doggy daycare for 1 year. I have also done pet walking and sitting for family and friends. I have owned and/or taken care of many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and mice. We currently have a dog, cat, guinea pig, and turtle! I take care of and love each pet as if they are my own. I am a kind, compassionate, patient person who can't wait to meet your pets! Pet care is my full time job. My schedule is flexible, I can usually always find a time to fit in a furry friend! My husband is a stay at home dad, so I don't have to worry about having to find childcare in order to work. I love, care for, and treat all animals as if they are my own. About: I’ve helped many families with pee breaks, visits, walks and sleep overs. I currently have a 7 year old dog and have had several dog’s growing up as well as many relationships built with other dogs in my life. My schedule is fairly open. Aside for stand alone appointments or commitments. Many mornings, midday open. Weekends, and evening also possible. Many cases I am able to accommodate last minute and special visits. I am always asking questions to make sure I know how the dog is cared for; including products, toys, feeding, eliminating , sleeping etc. It’s important that a dogs day to day is maintained while the family is away. About: I have always had a pet dog and ever since I was a teenager, I’d dog-sit for family and neighbors. Since college, I’ve been pet-sitting ajd dog walking on a more professional level. I’ve babysat for a few hours, simply for a walk, but have also watched multiple high energy dogs for up to two weeks. I’ve cared for dogs under a year old and up to 13 years old. I’ve always loved dogs and find them very easy to get along with and care for no matter their size, age, or personality. I have also cared for kittens a few weeks old, senior cats, administering medication orally, grooming them if they have long hair etc. Cats have a very different energy than dogs but I enjoy taking care of them just as much as dogs. I am currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to care for other dogs, whether it is a short walk or a multi-hour play date, etc. I always follow whatever guidance I am provided by pet parents. This means if you are only comfortable with your dog on a leash or lead while in your yard, I strictly follow that. If there are specific commands to use, certain behavior to watch out for or discourage, particular toys or activities they enjoy, I always follow what information I am given and am always open and communicate well about any issues or concerns that might arise on my end.
