About: I’ve been caring for dogs, cats, and other pets since I was a teenager, including house sitting and in-home pet care. I also hold a Veterinary Assistant Certificate, which gives me a strong understanding of animal safety, behavior, and overall wellbeing. About: I have done both walking and house sitting for five years, and have worked with and am comfortable handling both large and small dogs. I grew up owning dogs, including a shitzu mix, a poodle mix, and a shelter girl of unknown exact breed but some sort of terrier mix (mom was a JRT). While all but one of the dogs I have owned were under 20 pounds, most of my history in pet sitting has been with has been with dogs in the 30-70 pound range, including labs, huskies, and a pit bull mix as my most frequent clients. I have experience with owning a fear reactive dog, but my comfort with taking care of them will be on a case by case basis. I also have experience with training young dogs for crating, potty training, and leash training I am currently exclusively self employed and have a flexible schedule with my income sources, so I am available most days and times of the week At this time I am only able to provide care in my clients home, I am unable to provide boarding due to limited space in my house I will work with owners to maintain your pets normal schedule, including feeding and walks. I am comfortable crating and using alternate feeders or feeding styles as needed Dogs will never be outside unattended, and will be kept on leash or in fenced in yards unless the owner specifically requests that I do otherwise. Cats will not be taken outside for any reason unless requested by owners. All animals will receive a significant amount of play and/or pet time during each visit, assuming the animal is comfortable with and enjoying it For drop ins, I will provide at least one update per visit including pictures. For continuous house sitting, as my standard I will provide at least three updates per day (morning, mid day, and afternoon/evening) with at least one photo per update. About: All my life I’ve had a variety of different animals all including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits, etc. You name it, I have owned it. In some time spans all at the same time. I would love to take all this experience that I was fortunate enough to obtain throughout the years and bring it to your home! I am currently enrolled at the Western New England University. At the time being as I am on summer break I am looking for something to do to take up all this newly acquired time. As well as make some extra money to go towards my tuitions. Since I have a love for animals I thought this was the perfect opportunity for me. At the moment I currently have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits and a cocktail. As you can imagine yes they can certainly be a handful but I couldnt imagine my life without them. Each and everyone being on a schedule of their own which is always never a problem.

About: Hello! I am a veterinary technician of 16 years. I have my Master Trainers certificate for police and military k9s and I love all animals. I am currently working part-time as a surgical veterinary technician and shift lead. I have a very flexible schedule and open availability. I do not have many limitations when it comes to my schedule. I currently live in a nice and clean apartment complex. The complex has two large open grassy areas, and it is fenced in. I am accustomed to leash walking, gentle leader training, pinch collar training and harness training. I live close by to multiple dog parks, trails and my current place of employment. I have a very sweet and loving spayed female Vizsla who is now 8 years old. She is extremely dog friendly and plays wonderfully with others. I also have a spayed female 10 month mixed breed named Ginny, who is also very sweet, playful and friendly. If you are interested in overnight pet care at my home I do have two cats, both are great with dogs and also very friendly. I also have the ability to crate train overnight if needed. In addition I offer obedience training services.

About: I've loved and cared for dogs for most of my life, and currently have a Chihuahua mix named Chico and a cat named Frankie. I'm a good-hearted and easygoing person excited to spend my free time with some lovable pooches! Chico is an 11-year-old rescue, who loves ice cream and burying himself in blankets. Frankie is a snoozy indoor cat, but loves playing with Chico occasionally. For all of my bookings, I like to provide lots of attention to each pet, and create a comfortable environment for them. About: I have owned and helped take care of pets since I was a child and have worked in the veterinary field for 5 years. I am proficient at giving oral and injectable medications. I am a born animal lover and will treat your pet as if they were my own. I do work full time, so would mostly be available weekends but can be flexible depending on the situation. My job provides me with skills that would be helpful in caring for older animals and animals with health conditions. Comfortable with both dogs and cats. I have 2 dogs of my own who are always happy to have playmates, but I also have ample space and can keep them separate if needed. Willing to come to your place or have your fur babies come to mine.

About: I have a 6 year old Jack Russel/Chihuahua that is the sweetest most loving girl! I have trained her myself since she was a puppy, I have learned SO much. I have a schedule that’s a little all over the place but I’m willing to work out different times through the week that best suits you and your dog. It’s something that would have to be discussed based on your wants and needs for your dog. All dogs are different, every dog owner is different. But I would be sure to feed, give them water and walk as needed.

I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk. I have friends who own cats, and I enjoy getting to know them as well.
