About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. Our dogs share the couch and family spaces with us, but are crate trained as well. We go for walks daily and have playtime in the yard every 2-3 hours during the day if the weather is appropriate. We have two dogs, and an elderly cat that keeps to himself. Our yard is about an acre on a quiet dead end road and we have an electric fence for our pups, but can of course use leashes and leads as well!

I am very reliable, trustworthy and have a flexible schedule so I am able to work with you to create a schedule that you're most comfortable with. My home is spacious with 2 friendly cats and 2 well-socialized dogs who all coexist peacefully and are used to having new furry friends around for a temporary time. Pets in my home are all treated like family where they receive plenty of love, playtime, cuddles and socialized attention. My backyard is fenced in for safe outdoor exercise or just to hangout and catch a breeze on a nice day, my neighborhood also includes many quiet side streets for daily walking if needed. My home is air conditioned on those days that are just too hot and heated when it gets too cold. There is a big basket on the floor full with multiple types of toys, an easy accessible water bowl that's refilled at least 3xs per day, food or things on counter is not left anywhere that can be easily reached and harmful plants/chemicals to animals are not brought/used in my home.
About: I have owned and helped take care of pets since I was a child and have worked in the veterinary field for 5 years. I am proficient at giving oral and injectable medications. I am a born animal lover and will treat your pet as if they were my own. I do work full time, so would mostly be available weekends but can be flexible depending on the situation. My job provides me with skills that would be helpful in caring for older animals and animals with health conditions. Comfortable with both dogs and cats. I have 2 dogs of my own who are always happy to have playmates, but I also have ample space and can keep them separate if needed. Willing to come to your place or have your fur babies come to mine.
About: I have been thoroughly enamored by dogs most of my life, ever since my family got our first black Lab. I have experience working with puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I currently have a 1-year-old puppy and 2 cats at home, all of whom are front-and-center in my life. I am also a veterinary technician (nurse), so I am very comfortable giving medication and caring for pets who may be unwell. I can also perform basic veterinary first aid, though I do not know CPR. I am currently a full time vet tech, but am available all day on Sunday and Monday, and also afternoons (after 2 pm) on Wednesday and Saturday. I have one very friendly large-breed dog, who is generally pretty chill around other dogs, but will sometimes play. In your home, I would respect any boundaries you set and maintain common courtesy. I also strive to leave everything as I found it.
About: I love dogs and cats! I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk. I have friends who own cats, and I enjoy getting to know them as well.

About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. I understand different dogs have different needs and I will cater to each pup as needed.
