About: I'll care for your pet like it's my own, and will provide ample ear scritches and snuggles as needed while they miss you during your time away. Our dogs share the couch and family spaces with us, but are crate trained as well. We go for walks daily and have playtime in the yard every 2-3 hours during the day if the weather is appropriate. We have two dogs, and an elderly cat that keeps to himself. Our yard is about an acre on a quiet dead end road and we have an electric fence for our pups, but can of course use leashes and leads as well!

About: My dog passed away at age 18 and my family decided that we are not going to get another one. Being able to care for other people's dogs will be a joy. I am not good about updating my calendar. Reach out if you need care for your pet and if I am available, I will be happy to help! I am currently semi-retired and working part-time with a lot of flexibility in days and hours. Dog walking or pop in care will work for me. I won't be able to do any frequent regular visits as my schedule changes weekly. I am used to walking dogs and having dogs that are crate trained. I am currently working part-time as a surgical veterinary technician and shift lead. I have a very flexible schedule and open availability. My backyard is fenced in for safe outdoor exercise or just to hangout and catch a breeze on a nice day, my neighborhood also includes many quiet side streets for daily walking if needed. My home is air conditioned on those days that are just too hot and heated when it gets too cold. There is a big basket on the floor full with multiple types of toys, an easy accessible water bowl that's refilled at least 3xs per day, food or things on counter is not left anywhere that can be easily reached and harmful plants/chemicals to animals are not brought/used in my home.

About: Hi! I’m Mia, a full time professional pet care provider with over five years of hands on experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, sizes, and personalities. Before starting my own pet care business, I spent five years working at a professional dog daycare and boarding facility, where I worked my way up to Assistant Manager. That experience gave me extensive hands on experience with everything from puppies and seniors to high energy dogs, shy or nervous pets, multi-pet households, and pets with individualized care needs. Today, pet care is my full time job. I love getting to know each pet individually and becoming someone they’re genuinely comfortable and excited to see. I take their routines seriously, pay attention to the little details, and tailor each visit to what that particular pet needs that day. Whether that means a good walk, backyard playtime, puppy care, a slower visit with a senior, or simply some company and attention, my goal is for your pet to feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for. And of course, you can expect plenty of photos and a detailed update after every visit! Pet care is my full time job, so my days are built around my clients! I primarily provide weekday dog walks and drop in visits, along with vacation care for dogs and cats and limited overnight care. Because I work professionally in pet care rather than fitting visits around another job, I’m able to maintain a consistent schedule while still giving each pet the time and attention they deserve. I currently care for a wonderful group of regular weekly clients throughout the Palmer and Wilbraham area, along with pets I see for occasional and vacation care. I believe great pet care should feel as normal and stress-free as possible for your pet. About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for my own dogs, I helped take care of my first dog when he was a senior, and I’ve been taking care of the dog I have now since he was a puppy he’s now 10. I also have 3 years of experience taking care of cats, I have one of my own and I help take care of my sisters. People who know me describe me as responsible and I’m signing up for this app because I love animals and I am trying to make a little extra money before I go to college in the fall. I am available monday - sunday at all hours of the day for whatever your pet needs. This is currently my only job and it has my full attention. I will not be able to provide boarding in my home because my dog does not get along well with other dogs, but I am available to stop in and see your pets whenever needed to feed them, take them outside, walk them, and just to play with them. I can also do overnight stays if that is what your pet requires.

About: Dogs have and will always be a huge part of my life. We got our first family dog when I was just 3 years old and the rest is history. My husband Jack is extremely passionate about animals as well and is my partner in all of this so you get two dog sitters for the price of one. Between the two of us your pet will get so much love, cuddles & exercise. We guarantee a level of attention and care that I feel confident your pet won’t get anywhere else; between this and Rover taking it’s fee our prices might be on the high side but they reflect our level of personalized and professional level of care. I also just want to add that our love for dogs extends to all animals so cats etc are all welcome to come hang with us :) Important Note: if you are reaching out for house sitting my husband and I only take those if we both are allowed to stay the night. We prefer to do this for safety as well as enabling the best care possible for your pet. Your pets will be my top priority & my main focus when they stay with us! I feel pretty confident that they will get more quality time, attention & lovin with me then any other pet sitter! I have a smoke free home and do not have any dogs currently living at my house so your pets will be my only focus! Also a child free home!
About: I love dogs and cats! I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk. I have friends who own cats, and I enjoy getting to know them as well.
