As a full-time educator, I know how important consistency, safety, and connection are—yes, even for our four-legged friends! As a BCBA working in the school system, I am currently off for the summer, so my availability is wide open. In the fall I will work regular school hours 7:30-2:30pm 4 days/ week. During the week I am available for afternoon and early evening visits. On the weekends my availability is open! I build in dedicated time for each visit to ensure I’m never rushed, and every pet gets my full attention. I care for pets in their own home with the same respect and attentiveness I would offer in my own. I follow all provided instructions closely—whether that includes feeding schedules, medication, preferred walking routes, or favorite toys—and I always take time to observe how each pet is feeling that day and send updates and pictures. During drop-in visits, I offer gentle, calm energy and prioritize connection so your pet feels safe and seen. I’ll make sure they’re fed, comfortable, and get affection or playtime based on their needs and personality. On walks, I stay alert and keep pets secure while still giving them time to sniff, explore, and enjoy the moment. I will always leave your home just as I found it—or even a little better. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel completely at ease while we’re on our routine together

About: I've been caring for animals since I was in elementary school, starting with my own pets and eventually helping care for the pets of family members, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I truly enjoy spending time with them and building loving friendships with each one. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and companionship so they feel relaxed and cared for while their owners are away. I also keep their space clean, fresh, and stress-free, and I always provide updates with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind. For dogs, I enjoy going on long, engaging walks and making sure they get both exercise and enrichment. For cats, I focus on gentle care, play, and respecting their comfort level—whether that means interactive play or quiet companionship.

“Becca was amazing! This was the first time we left our big old dog home when traveling. He's getting older and, during our last trip, showed some separation anxiety when we would go out for the day. Between that and a longer drive than he's used to, we figured he would be happier at home with his Auntie taking care of him. Becca came everyday for a walk, making things easier on Auntie and giving our social guy more humans to interact with, lol. Becca sent great updates and photos all week! We could genuinely see them bonding as the week progressed. He went from dragging her back inside at the end of the walk because he was hot and lazy (lol) to getting pep in his step and prancing back in the house because he knew it was treat time, and from coming when she called to running to greet her when he heard her car pull in. About: Hello! I am a veterinary technician of 16 years. I have my Master Trainers certificate for police and military k9s and I love all animals. I am currently working part-time as a surgical veterinary technician and shift lead. I have a very flexible schedule and open availability. I do not have many limitations when it comes to my schedule. I currently live in a nice and clean apartment complex. The complex has two large open grassy areas, and it is fenced in. I am accustomed to leash walking, gentle leader training, pinch collar training and harness training. I live close by to multiple dog parks, trails and my current place of employment. I have a very sweet and loving spayed female Vizsla who is now 8 years old. She is extremely dog friendly and plays wonderfully with others. I also have a spayed female 10 month mixed breed named Ginny, who is also very sweet, playful and friendly. If you are interested in overnight pet care at my home I do have two cats, both are great with dogs and also very friendly. I also have the ability to crate train overnight if needed. In addition I offer obedience training services.

About: I have owned and helped take care of pets since I was a child and have worked in the veterinary field for 5 years. I am proficient at giving oral and injectable medications. I am a born animal lover and will treat your pet as if they were my own. I do work full time, so would mostly be available weekends but can be flexible depending on the situation. My job provides me with skills that would be helpful in caring for older animals and animals with health conditions. Comfortable with both dogs and cats. I have 2 dogs of my own who are always happy to have playmates, but I also have ample space and can keep them separate if needed. Willing to come to your place or have your fur babies come to mine.

About: My dog passed away at age 18 and my family decided that we are not going to get another one. Being able to care for other people's dogs will be a joy. I am not good about updating my calendar. Reach out if you need care for your pet and if I am available, I will be happy to help! I am currently semi-retired and working part-time with a lot of flexibility in days and hours. Dog walking or pop in care will work for me. I won't be able to do any frequent regular visits as my schedule changes weekly. I am used to walking dogs and having dogs that are crate trained. Whatever your routine is, I can help to be consistent in training and care.

About: All my life I’ve had a variety of different animals all including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, rabbits, etc. You name it, I have owned it. In some time spans all at the same time. I would love to take all this experience that I was fortunate enough to obtain throughout the years and bring it to your home! I am currently enrolled at the Western New England University. At the time being as I am on summer break I am looking for something to do to take up all this newly acquired time. As well as make some extra money to go towards my tuitions. Since I have a love for animals I thought this was the perfect opportunity for me. At the moment I currently have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits and a cocktail. As you can imagine yes they can certainly be a handful but I couldnt imagine my life without them. Each and everyone being on a schedule of their own which is always never a problem.
