About: Since I was a child I have had pets in my life. I am an animal lover of all types. I have cared for fish, hamsters, gerbals, cats, dogs, even reptiles. About: I have done both walking and house sitting for five years, and have worked with and am comfortable handling both large and small dogs. I grew up owning dogs, including a shitzu mix, a poodle mix, and a shelter girl of unknown exact breed but some sort of terrier mix (mom was a JRT). While all but one of the dogs I have owned were under 20 pounds, most of my history in pet sitting has been with has been with dogs in the 30-70 pound range, including labs, huskies, and a pit bull mix as my most frequent clients. I have experience with owning a fear reactive dog, but my comfort with taking care of them will be on a case by case basis. I also have experience with training young dogs for crating, potty training, and leash training I am currently exclusively self employed and have a flexible schedule with my income sources, so I am available most days and times of the week At this time I am only able to provide care in my clients home, I am unable to provide boarding due to limited space in my house I will work with owners to maintain your pets normal schedule, including feeding and walks. I am comfortable crating and using alternate feeders or feeding styles as needed Dogs will never be outside unattended, and will be kept on leash or in fenced in yards unless the owner specifically requests that I do otherwise. Cats will not be taken outside for any reason unless requested by owners. All animals will receive a significant amount of play and/or pet time during each visit, assuming the animal is comfortable with and enjoying it For drop ins, I will provide at least one update per visit including pictures. For continuous house sitting, as my standard I will provide at least three updates per day (morning, mid day, and afternoon/evening) with at least one photo per update. About: I have been a lifelong animal lover since I was a little kid, My first pet being a sweet stray cat my family took in before I was even 5 years old. I have years of hands-on experience caring for and loving pets, my own of course and many others that have trusted me to care for theirs. I am also great at reading an animals body language which helps me connect better with anxious or shy pets to help make them feel as comfortable as possible. Spending time with animals is one of the best parts of my day, it fits naturally into my routine and brings me a lot of joy. I am very reliable, trustworthy and have a flexible schedule so I am able to work with you to create a schedule that you're most comfortable with. My home is spacious with 2 friendly cats and 2 well-socialized dogs who all coexist peacefully and are used to having new furry friends around for a temporary time. Pets in my home are all treated like family where they receive plenty of love, playtime, cuddles and socialized attention. My backyard is fenced in for safe outdoor exercise or just to hangout and catch a breeze on a nice day, my neighborhood also includes many quiet side streets for daily walking if needed. My home is air conditioned on those days that are just too hot and heated when it gets too cold. There is a big basket on the floor full with multiple types of toys, an easy accessible water bowl that's refilled at least 3xs per day, food or things on counter is not left anywhere that can be easily reached and harmful plants/chemicals to animals are not brought/used in my home.

About: Although I have less experience in dog care in comparison to taking care of cats, I live an active lifestyle and am fully capable of going on walks with any dog’s typical walk regime. Respecting people's spaces is a top priority, and I always make sure to leave a home exactly as I found it. I have a large home with plenty of outdoor space at the end of a quiet cul da sac. The back yard is secluded and very safe. We do not keep food out, and we make sure no plants that can harm animals ever enter the home. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with very few cars. Most all other dogs in the area have interacted with dogs we have babysat, and are very friendly and well trained.
About: I've been dog sitting for a little over 8 years now for friends and family. I started dogsitting for clients at the salon I used to work for. I own 2 dogs myself one of which is 11 and the other is 5! I love cats and dogs so much and I can't wait to have my own house to adopt as many as I can! I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk. I have friends who own cats, and I enjoy getting to know them as well.

“Would highly recommend!! Ifan was great with Pierre and was very responsive when I asked for pictures and videos during his stay. My dog did a lot of running around outside in his backyard and playing with the other dogs he was watching, but when it came time for me to pick him up he looked good as new. Brushed and came with an adorable handkerchief! He was great!”
