“Ida had a great time with Lady and when I needed to move walks around a little Lady was very responsive. Thanks a bunch! Will be a repeat customer. :)”

About: I’ve dog sat for family members many times before, and live with a dog and cat, both of which I am primary caretaker for. I commonly walk my dog around the neighborhood and have walked other family members’ dogs as well. I also spent 4 years working at a zoo, and interacted with wild and dangerous animals on a daily basis. This work has afforded me skills like animal care and awareness of an animals comfort with me in their space. I do not currently have a job outside of Rover, so I’m free to walk dogs basically whenever! I prefer to walk dogs in the morning or afternoon, but regardless I am available at any time of day, weekdays and weekends. I care for pets in my home all the time, I have both a dog and a cat, so I am often working to ensure the safety of my home for both of them. My house is cat and dog proofed and I am almost constantly monitoring my own pets for health and safety issues.

About: I have had a dog my whole life. They truly are man's best friend. Now that I live away from my family's dog, I realize how important dogs are in providing companionship. I would be honored to look after and care for your best friend, aka your dog. I have also be caring for neighbors' dogs since I was 13 years old. I know what it takes to care for and look after your pup. From ensuring correct food portions at dinner time, to giving them time to play outside, to making sure they are comfortable when they go to sleep, I am able to flexibly cater to your and your dog's specific needs. I am responsible, energetic, and prompt. I am currently a researcher at a local university and deal with people all day. They are, more often than not, more difficult to deal with than most dogs! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or inquiries you may have. I can't wait to meet you and your dog! I currently work from home 3 days out of the week, on most weeks. This usually gives me a lot of flexibility to stop by for walks, drop-ins, or other care. I treat each person's home and their pets as I would my own: consideration, respect, and dignity. Safety and wellbeing for your fur babies and residence is my main priority.

“Jasmine is wonderful!! I am so happy that I came across her profile. She is friendly, always on time, responsive, and does a great job walking my dog, Arlo. I am very surprised at how well she handles Arlo because he’s very energetic and sometimes stubborn. Nonetheless, he enjoys his walks with her and barely wants to leave when she drops him off lol. I highly recommend Jasmine if you are looking for a great dog walker.”

About: I've had experience with several different dog breeds over the years. I'm the main care taker of my families pets when one of leaves. Ranging from German shepherds to the smaller dogs and other breeds of different sizes. I'm able to keep up the higher energetic dogs that need the extra mile or lay down with the more calmer laid back dogs. I don't go to school currently or work any side jobs so my pet availability is whenever needed. I walk my dog twice throughout the day one in the morning and one at night I ask several questions about the dog and the area around them. Do they have a specific diet or allergies? Favorite toy? Specific routes they take while walking? Should I be alerted of any neighboring dogs to stay away from? Things of that nature

About: I’m currently training to be a therapist so I have a keen sense for emotions… pets included! I’ve dog sat for family numerous times and am hoping to branch out. I love being around animals, am a very easy guest, and will happily send you any pictures of your pets! I have class 1-9pm on Monday and Wednesday but am mostly free otherwise! I get up early to swim twice a week (Fri and Sat), but can go straight back if needed. I don’t do much, so I’m pretty open! I’m willing to do whatever I can to help the pet feel safe and welcomed. Whether they want to play, rest, eat, or walk, I’m happy to help them out!

“Chandra takes our dog on walks on weekdays while my husband and I are out of the house for an extended period during the day. She's extremely reliable and friendly and always sends us an update and a great picture of our little guy! We're very glad to have Chandra keeping our pup happy and helping with our peace of mind. Finding the right daily dog walker felt like a daunting task, but we really lucked out and found someone great! We highly recommend Chandra's services!”

About: Hi! My family & I are huge animal lovers! Anyone who knows us knows we love pets and prefer their company to most people. I will spoil your dog as if he/she is mine. I have had dogs in my life since I was a child. They bring so much joy and it’s a relief to know you can go away and not worry about their care. They will be in great hands with me and my teenager. We are both patient, easy going and calm. There will be no babies, small children, smoking, loud noises, or chaos. No need for a crate, unless they prefer one or, are a puppy in training. They may not want to leave after a stay at our house. I would love repeat visits. I work PT from home and have lots of spare time available to care for and play with your fur baby! My teenager is also a huge animal lover and will let your dog sleep in her bed, if your pet is used to that. I can stay at your home and care for your pets, plants, mail, etc. or care for your dog at our home, with a large fenced in yard. I also take dogs on walks around my neighborhood.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every age, size and many breeds since I was a kid in just as diverse of environments - suburban, city, and rural settings. I love being my neighbors and friends “go-to” for pet care! Most recently, we fostered a sweet young adult rescue into a wonderful forever home, and prior to that we rescued our own big bully senior boy, Jak. Super confident with walks, runs, hangtime, medicine/care! I’m currently not working, so I have plenty of time to bop around, especially during the weekdays, (with my four year old in tow, occasionally). I have a full fenced yard so your pup can safely roam; hose is available for play and hot days if desired, as well as indoor access. Happy to care for your pup as you wish in your home!

Nick M.
“Alyssa started taking care of animals at a very young age. They began with raising praying mantises, then ferrets and during high school worked at the zoo as part of their duties. There they cared for a variety of animals, preparing their food and medication and ensuring they received the proper enrichment. Now at home the same care and attention to detail is being used to help care for our Bichon/ Shih tzu, Cleopatra. Alyssa takes her on regular walks, feeds and combs/brushes her to keep the knots away. Alyssa is very reliable and trustworthy and Cleo reminds us of it daily.”

Elliott M.
“Elliott has areal affinity with animals (especially dogs). We've always had cats and dogs as part of our family, and Elliott has always had a gentle and kind relationship with each of them. Our current dog, Brownie, waits anxiously for Elliott to take him for daily walks and returns home significantly calmer and relaxed, having burned up some of his boundless energy. Elliott is a gentle, kind human, and animals can sense that. I believe any pet would be fortunate to have Elliott spend time with them - going for walks, playing fetch, etc.”
