“Very professional sitter! She responded right away to my message and did a great job taking care of my cat while we were away. Sometimes he is weird after we leave, but this time he acted like normal when we got home which was great to see! I loved all the videos and photos she took and appreciated that she picked up all his cat hair chunks. Overall great sitter and would hire again!”

“My elderly cat was happy and well cared for when I returned from a lengthy trip. Traci followed all directions to the letter, and then some! Such a relief to know my pet got lots of TLC while I was gone.”

“Melissa was an absolute dream cat sitter for me. My sweet Louie struggles with strangers and socialization. He is very anxious and doesn’t do well with new people, but I didn’t want him to be lonely on my trip. Melissa spent so much time and effort making Louie feel comfortable with her during her visits. She kept me updated the whole time with photos and updates on his behavior. She was neat and tidy, brought my mail in for me, and made sure he had everything he needed. I would give her 100 stars on this review if the app would let me. Melissa was phenomenal. I’m using her again in two weeks. I was so worried that I would find a sitter who didn’t understand Louie and who wouldn’t try to bond with him, but with Melissa that couldn’t be further from the truth. She was absolutely amazing and I am so glad Louie has someone like her to care for him now!”

“Ivey was wonderful with my fur baby!! She kept in touch and sent me lots of pictures. I didn’t have to worry about him while I was gone. I’ll definitely book Ivey again!”

“My partner and I are new to the area, and I was anxious about leaving my furry little bestie alone for several days, but Karson immediately put me at ease! She is responsive, reliable, and really tries to go the extra mile to connect with your pet. My kitty is shy and slow to warm up, but she never gave up on trying to engage him! She will definitely be my go-to sitter going forward.”

“Rachel was a delight; friendly, responsive and punctual. She took care of our three kitties very well, including one who has some health issues and requires a bit of special handling. She sent pictures and a video while we were gone, which we really appreciated since we missed them very much. This was the first time I had used Rover and wasn’t sure what to expect, but was more than pleased. I will DEFINITELY be contacting Rachel in the future the next time that we need pet sitting.”

“Abby was amazing!!! She watched out cat for 2 weeks, went above and beyond with the pictures and taken care of him like it was her own cat. She even sent pictures of the turtle she found in our yard which I loved! We will definitely keep Abby as our cat sitter. He's definitely going to miss his new friend. Thanks for keeping him happy.”

“Mandy was an amazing sitter for my cat Scooter. Not only did she do check-ins/feedings twice daily, but she also spent the night a few times with him so he wouldn’t be alone too long. I could tell from the photos that he was comfortable with her and not too anxious about me being gone. He’s usually an anxious boy, so that was a huge win for him! Mandy was communicative, professional, friendly, and dependable. She even washed the bedding she used for me! I’m so thankful Mandy could be his sitter while I was out of town.”

“Lauryn did an amazing job taking care of our cat, Mabs! She checked in on her twice a day, sent pictures and videos of play time and pets, provided behavior updates, and she was so patient when Mabs showed signs of fear and anxiety the first night we were away. After that first night, Lauryn won her over, and Mabs seemed very happy to hang out and play with her newfound friend. 😊 I would definitely use Lauryn’s services again! Highly recommend!”

“Emma came over last week and cared for our 2 cats, while we were gone to the beach. She did such a great job! Very attentive and sent us pictures every day. I would highly recommend her and will definitely request her again, for our next trip.”

“Desiree was professional, understanding of my cats needs (since one takes medications), and had detailed Rover reports which eased may anxiety. If I ever need a pet sitter again, I will absolutely be reaching out to her. She was fantastic!”

“Thank you for loving my Nash”

“repeat client - alicia always makes sure my home is clean when I return even if my cat throws up she is able to clean it well and alert me :)”

“Katie was wonderful!! I felt very confident in her abilities to take care of my fur babies!! I will not hesitate to book Katie again! Cats are not always easy to interact with but Katie was able to interact with all my cats and I could tell by the numerous pictures she sent me on a daily basis that my cats loved her!!”

About: Hey there dog/cat parents! My name is Simone and I would love to get to know your dog(s) or cat(s) on a personal level to understand their unique personalities and needs! I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats my whole life for friends and family and of course, my own furry family! I’ve had experience with senior dogs who need a little extra love and attention (along with their medication needs) and have given basic training to puppies (sit, stay, come, etc.) I can’t wait to meet your fur baby and love them like you do! I currently work full time at a surgery center, but typically I get off anywhere from 2-3pm on weekdays and I have my weekends off for more flexibility! My own dog gets lots of love and attention and of course gets his energy out in our fenced in backyard where we play together. I’d be more than happy to offer my services in ways of walking your dog, giving potty breaks, making sure they are fed and have water, and lots of play time!

“Bri did a wonderful job. She is very conscientious and obviously loves animals. I love that she sent pictures of Monkey each day. He was obviously well taken care of!”

About: I have had animals my entire life, I currently have 3 dogs and a cat of my own. I have small and extra large dogs so I know the care that each size group requires. All of my pet owning friends come to me for medical and training advice. I am also always the first person they come to when they need someone to take care of their beloved pets. I can follow strict regimens regarding food, brushing, bathing, medicine etc. My availability is for weekends only, as I do have a full time position as a Teacher Assistant. I get off work at 12:30 pm every Friday and have every Saturday and Sunday off. My partner works for the Women’s Basketball team at the University of Tennessee and I often take care of their dogs for trips. I know I can easily fit in a few more fur babies to make someone else’s life easier! I have a reliable vehicle to take me to and from your house, as well as a love for exercise for walking your dogs! You and your animals experience with a walker/sitter is my top priority. I understand the fear of being unable to find someone trustworthy to watch your pets, having some of my own. I have a large fenced in yard and still make time to take all 3 dogs on walks to give them the exercise and stimulation they need to be happy.

“Naomi provided our family with wonderful service and, more importantly with peace of mind. We have 2 geriatric cats, one of whom is not well, and a 7 year old who can be a handful. None of the 3 has been alone for a protracted period of time let alone been boarded. We are so thankful to have had Naomi take such good care of our fur babies. She left our home in great shape, and collected our mail and delivered packages which was icing on the cake. We highly recommend her and will seek her out if we go out of town again.”

“Megan went above & beyond for us during a very difficult time. We booked Megan for a few days over Thanksgiving week, during which we would be out of town visiting family. Sadly, my brother died at the beginning of the week, and I wasn't sure when arrangements would be finalized for his visitation and memorial. I reached out to Megan to explain the circumstances, and she let me know she was available additional days after her initial booking. It was always reassuring when she would start her check-in, and send her updates, including photos of Franklin. Knowing he was being taken care of (perhaps even spoiled!) brought us such peace of mind during a time when we were decidedly preoccupied.”

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life—dogs, cats, and everything in between—so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I currently have a 4-year-old chocolate lab named Stokely Mae, and she's truly my best friend. I’ve raised her since she was just 7 weeks old and trained her every step of the way—from basic commands to leash manners and socializing with other animals. Every day, I manage a household with four large dogs (three Labs and one Husky), each with their own personalities and needs. I handle their feeding schedules (three times a day), including different portions and diets, with consistency and care. Whether it's high-energy playtime, calm walks, or gentle attention for older dogs, I adapt to meet each pet’s unique needs. I treat every animal like family and always aim to create a safe, loving environment where pets feel secure and happy. I'm a teacher, so my summer schedule is wide open—perfect for giving your pets the attention they deserve! During the school year, I’m available for weekend care and occasional evenings. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, and I love being able to spend my free time with animals. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or drop-in visits, I can be flexible and reliable when you need a helping hand. Your pets safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’m attentive to each pet’s routine and needs—whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, managing medications, or providing a calm, secure environment. I take the time to earn each pet’s trust with patience, gentle handling, and lots of positive reinforcement. In your home, I treat it with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. I make sure your pet feels safe and loved while keeping their surroundings tidy and stress-free. I’m always happy to provide updates and photos, so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands.

Halls Crossroads cat parents share their Rover experiences
Melissa was so great with our pets! She is very professional, prepared, and takes detailed notes on pets and requests. She had no problem with last minute instructions when we had to take our Kitty to vet right before leaving and kept us well informed. She even took extra time to play with the kitties sometimes and took portrait worthy pics! Will be rebooking!
