“Evelyn is a wonderful and responsible walker and sitter and takes great care of my dog Freckles. She always spends a full 30 minutes with her (and often longer) and makes sure she has lots of love and attention while I’m away at work. When it’s very hot she pays special attention to Freckles’ comfort and will take her back inside to cool off if she needs it, but still makes sure the visit is the full length of time. I always receive detailed follow-up and adorable photos when the walk is done. Evelyn has had to deal with a couple accidents and has been gracious in cleaning them up before putting Freckles back in her crate. I (and Freckles) highly recommend Evelyn!”

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since as long as I can remember. I have gone through 5 dogs growing up and have always been surrounded by the pets of friends and family! I’ve always loved every kind of animal, I believe the bond between a dog or cat and their human is truly unconditional. I’m eager to meet and care for more furry friends! I am a full-time hairstylist. Though I am scheduled for the same hours each week, sometimes I have slower weeks than others and my weeks are never always the same. I am looking for Rover as a side job to help me out during my slower days! I live in an Inlaw apartment under my mom‘s house. We have a fenced in backyard. I only have one cat in my apartment, and my mom has two dogs that are very friendly. We have a walking trail along a river across the street from our house!

About: I’ve always had joy of caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes! My attentiveness and engagement with them sets me apart, as well as my ability to stick with their routines, playtime or just cuddling on the couch can be just a bonus. Back from school for the summer break, and available anytime after 10 am on weekdays, and 11 am on the weekends! Last visit preferably until 8 pm I unfortunately do not care for pets in my home. However, when I am in the clients home I follow instructions given to me and will communicate of any questions, or concerns.

About: Its been 3 years since I’ve last been on Rover due to having a small child so I’m starting out on here all over again ☺️ My daughter is in school and camp now so I have time to help owners who don’t have a flexible schedule make sure their loved animals are taken care of. I have a big dog of my own who stays in the yard most the day or on the couch! He plays great with other dogs & is also a lover. I am a free spirt. I love hiking , trails, or just walking in the neighborhood. I offer hair brushing, bathing animals, nail clipping/grinding, and can brush their teeth if needed. I love taking dogs swimming at lakes and streams, running, and exercising animals are also some other fun things I offer. I’m full of energy & love animals- my favorite animals are horses & dogs. I am a self employed hairstylist so I have time to help since I make my own work schedules. Since I do not have a set work schedule if my services are needed for longer visits I can definitely make that happen. I’m able to start today or tomorrow and am very excited to help with your little family members 🐶🐱Thank you very much Ali Gant I am self employed so my hours are very flexible. I can also run home fast or to your house anytime to let an animal out for their feeding or walk. I have a safe environment and work on safety in others homes. The collar and leash will be put on before the front door opens so no running out the door is possible. Practice sitting before the door opens is a positive start to any walk.

About: Hello! My name is Michelle. I have been caring for animals since I was a young kid, because I must say, my negotiation skills and PowerPoints were strong as a 10 year old trying to convince my parents I needed hamsters, guinea pigs, and even a horse (all of which I had). I have consistently provided overnight care a German Shepard and Terrier Mix. I have also provided overnight care for a family member's chihuahua and I have a pitbull of my own. I am confident around countless types of dogs with various temperaments (anxious, food aggressive, excessive energy, dogs with health issues). I am kind, gentle, and overall just a huge animal lover looking to spend time with more pups!! I can always be counted on to be on time and to be someone you really trust with your family member. I have very flexible availability because I currently make my own hours as a business owner. I can make most times work depending on other bookings. I will provide care in my clients home by respecting their space and provided boundaries in place to keep the animal safe/happy. I will always follow the rules given to me to ensure all parties are safe.

About: I have always been an animal lover and grew up with dogs. I'm a former full time dog walker. I loved working with dogs but got overworked and had to take a break. I'm ready to return to the work I love!! I have a talent for winning over even the most antisocial pets. I pay great attention to each dog's individual needs. I love hanging out with low energy senior pets just as much as energetic puppies. I take great photos. I'm good at communicating if I run into issues that require notifying a pet parent. I know how to confidently talk to the front desk of a luxury building or how to navigate an older building. I have experience with caring for dogs after a walk, making sure they have water and giving them dinner or a treat.

About: I have loved dogs since I was a young child chasing Oscar at my grandparents' farm. To this day, if I see a dog I have to introduce myself. I have cared for dogs from six week old puppies to elder dogs in their final days. I also have experience with cats, having lived with four of them at one time. I am retired but fit and healthy. I am available most days and will stay with you pets overnight as well. I hope to turn pet care into a 25-30 hour/week job. I am unable to bring a pet into my home. For pet care in your home, I would closely follow your instructions. I do believe that play time and outdoor time are critical for pets fit for such activities. About: Hello! My name is Nicole and I am an upbeat and energetic musician. I have grown up with dogs my whole life and absolutely love taking care of them! I also have 3 years of pet and house-sitting experience. I love dogs of all sizes -and cats- but have more experience with small dogs. While you’re away, I will let them out, as well as feed and clean up after them. I can take your babies on walks, outside to play, and give them all the love they could possibly want! I am currently a graduate student at Bard College, so I am able to do overnight sittings and drop-ins between classes. On Fridays I am out of town. Once the semester ends in late May, I will be available 7 days a week. After letting the pets get accustomed to my being in their home, I’ll try to get a sense of how much attention they want and respond accordingly.

About: I’ve been the primary caretaker of my family’s dogs, and have used Rover for close to 5 years now to expand my network of dog friends! I just graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and don’t currently have a job lined up. That means my schedule is completely open to take care of your pets! I can certainly crate your dogs if needed, but I would prefer to have the company of your pets and give them my love and attention :)
