About: Dogs have been part of my family for as long as I can remember — they’re truly woven into the fabric of my life. After 15 years as a large animal and livestock farmer, I’ve handled every kind of surprise animals can throw at me — so I’m up for unusual circumstances. Your pup will have 10 fully fenced acres to explore, sniff, and zoom to their heart’s content. And they won’t be alone! I have four animal-loving kids who can’t wait to run, play, and snuggle with new furry friends. I work from home, and my kids are homeschooled so we are home most of the time, so we are available for potty breaks and snuggles throughout the day. During the school year we attend a homeschool co-op for much of the day Tuesday and Thursday. We have 10 fully fenced acres for safe, joyful exploring, plus two friendly dogs and four dog-savvy cats to keep your pup company. Crating is available if needed (especially for new potty trainers), but we love welcoming guest dogs right into our daily routine. Your dog can enjoy farm walks, endless ball throwing, and plenty of cozy couch time with us. They’ll feel like part of the family from day one!

About: Your fur baby will have a blast with our pack! Winnie, Tater and Goose are the ultimate pals. We will be sure to keep your pup entertained and a great way to get exercise and affection while you’re away! If you have an older dog, I can offer one on one snuggle time and a calm relaxing environment separate from the other pups. We have 2 acres and enjoy outside playtime. We frequent the dog park in Louisa and hiking trails from Richmond to Charlottesville. Common treats are homemade chicken jerky and sardines. Please let me know if your pup is not on a tick preventative. We treat our yard with a dog safe spray but enjoy recreational activities away from home and would like to be extra cautious for your fur baby. I have full weekday and have full weekend availability! We enjoy going on walks in our neighborhood or the park close by early in the morning and late at night before it gets too hot. Depending on your pup’s age, younger ones will have tater and goose to play with. Older/calmer pups will stay with Winnie and I in a separated part of the house. I will care for your pup however you feel they will do the best (:

About: Hello! My name is Kate and I want to meet your pet! I have a seven year old Australian Shepherd who might be the love of my life (don't tell my husband!) I have grown up around dogs but have also taken care of cats and guinea pigs. In all seriousness, I live in the Goochland/Short Pump area and offer pet walking during the day. I'm a super active person who works from home and has the time to commit to make sure your pet is well taken care of! My first dog (a Westie) lived to be almost 17 and by the end of his life, needed a variety of medicines throughout the day and so that is another service that I can offer. I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I work from home starting late morning and also typically go to the park everyday after work (depending on the weather). I am available before work, during lunch, and after work. I make sure that your pet has plenty of water and play time before I leave the visit! I always make sure your pet is comfortable and we can play as much as they want!

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was young. I enjoy the time I get to spend with them. I love these guys truly. I currently work Monday through Friday. I currently work at a vet hospital part time on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday times ranging from 7am-3pm, I often don’t get scheduled all days as well as all of the mentioned time every week so please still reach out! I also offer training services just an upcoming newer trainer as I’m a dog trainer with a career diploma in the field. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out! I’m hoping to be able to take care of others pets near me while earning money on the side. Services I can provide would include feeding them, administration of medications (if needed), training (if owner would like), bathing, nail trims, ear cleanings, brushing (cost extra depending on service, brushing is free unless matted) take them outside to play and potty, any other services owner may need. I currently work part time at a veterinary clinic as stated in the pet care experience box, I’m pretty flexible and will try my best to work with you! I have a backyard, and 5 acres of land.
