“Abby was amazing! I’m super happy with our experience working with her. We took a prolonged trip and had the help of Abby to take care of our cat. She sent us photos and thorough report cards. She also helped keep our indoor plants alive and this was a nice relief knowing my plants would get watered. My cat LOVES her, you could tell she was in heaven and all over Abby everytime she came for the visits, she did an amazing job giving our cat attention and loving her. About: Your fur baby will have a blast with our pack! Winnie, Tater and Goose are the ultimate pals. We will be sure to keep your pup entertained and a great way to get exercise and affection while you’re away! If you have an older dog, I can offer one on one snuggle time and a calm relaxing environment separate from the other pups. We have 2 acres and enjoy outside playtime. We frequent the dog park in Louisa and hiking trails from Richmond to Charlottesville. Common treats are homemade chicken jerky and sardines. Please let me know if your pup is not on a tick preventative. We treat our yard with a dog safe spray but enjoy recreational activities away from home and would like to be extra cautious for your fur baby. I have full weekday and have full weekend availability! We enjoy going on walks in our neighborhood or the park close by early in the morning and late at night before it gets too hot. Depending on your pup’s age, younger ones will have tater and goose to play with. Older/calmer pups will stay with Winnie and I in a separated part of the house. I will care for your pup however you feel they will do the best (:

About: Hello! My name is Kate and I want to meet your pet! I have a seven year old Australian Shepherd who might be the love of my life (don't tell my husband!) I have grown up around dogs but have also taken care of cats and guinea pigs. In all seriousness, I live in the Goochland/Short Pump area and offer pet walking during the day. I'm a super active person who works from home and has the time to commit to make sure your pet is well taken care of! My first dog (a Westie) lived to be almost 17 and by the end of his life, needed a variety of medicines throughout the day and so that is another service that I can offer. I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I work from home starting late morning and also typically go to the park everyday after work (depending on the weather). I am available before work, during lunch, and after work. I make sure that your pet has plenty of water and play time before I leave the visit! I always make sure your pet is comfortable and we can play as much as they want!

About: Taking care of dogs or any animal in fact has always been something I really enjoyed from a young age. I started a few years ago just reaching out to friends and family to take care of their pups and I’ve had a blast and want to make it a more every day thing. I just love making dogs as happy as they make me:) Pet care fits perfectly into my routine since I work very part-time and have lots of flexibility. I love being able to plan my days around walks, playtime, and quality time with the pets I care for. I’m also available for overnights, which means I can give pets extra comfort and consistency while their owners are away—it’s something I genuinely enjoy, so it never feels like work! When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, clean, and comfortable space with plenty of attention and playtime. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible, including feeding, walks, and any meds they need. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely to keep things consistent for the pet. About: Hey, my name is Erin! I’ve had my own animals my entire life, but I also have 4 years of dog training professionally. I worked for the company Dogtopia (a great dog daycare/boarding facility) as a canine coach and assistant manager. I worked hands on in the room with the dogs during open play, and one on one in grooming and training sessions. Unfortunately, my husband travels for work so a traditional 9-5 doesn’t always work for me, hence finding my own lane with Rover! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend. :) I work from home remotely part time as a paralegal, and outside of that I am a stay at home wife. Pet care fits seamlessly into my life and I am open to working with clients to help accommodate special time needs.
