My older sweet girl (Shephard mix) can be timid and nervous, especially around other dogs. They both took to Paula instantly and came home safe, smiling, and exhausted from all the exercise they had between Paula's backyard setup and their pack of playmates. Paula is a great communicator, and sent plenty of pictures and updates so that I never had to worry about how they were doing. About: I have been blessed to grow up with a variety of animals in and around my home. I’ve had a variety of dogs that have ranged from 12lbs to 200lbs. I’ve also had cats in the home, as well. I have taken care of the basics of feeding them, giving clean water (daily), maintaining the litter box (as needed) and even giving insulin injections (to both felines and dogs). I’ve trained many of my larger breed dogs and my service dog. Bathing, feeding, walking and not just for my pets, but also friends & family. Since my sweet Bella (pictured) passed I actually have a 20lb Boston Terrier, named Lucy, now. I also live on a farm where we have 3 miniature horses and one thoroughbred big boy. I’m very flexible in my schedule and if I was needed to stay for extended periods of time, my animals would be taken care of. I’ve been on medical disability for 4 1/2yrs now. Other than my appointments I have throughout the week, my only other commitment is the upkeep of my home and taking care of my animals. I would not be bringing clients pets to my home, as it’s a spacious and fenced in yard; however, we have one dog who doesn’t play well with others. In a client’s home, unless asked by the owner, the only thing I would remove from the home (temporarily), would be the pet. I’m very cautious with another’s fur baby; so, I would treat it as my own with love, snuggles and a gentle touch. I’m always aware of my surroundings, especially with something so precious, to another. I’ve always been described as very trustworthy and compassionate, with people, as well as, with their animals. I work for GCPS from 745-315 so I would be available for afternoon / evening drop-ins / walks and any days that school is closed. I love spending time with dogs and cats, whether it's outside playing or cuddling in the house. I have given my dogs medication to swallow when prescribed by their veterinarian as well as cleaning out their ears every 2-3 times a week for normal hygiene. I will follow all duties assigned to me to care for your pet. I work on the Goochland County Public Schools calendar from 745-315 Monday - Friday unless other wise stated on the calendar. I would be available all day on the days school is closed. I will provide feedings, potty breaks, walks, inside/outside activities as needed/wanted per your request. I enjoy cuddling and petting with pets, if that is what they enjoy.

My older sweet girl (Shephard mix) can be timid and nervous, especially around other dogs. They both took to Paula instantly and came home safe, smiling, and exhausted from all the exercise they had between Paula's backyard setup and their pack of playmates. Paula is a great communicator, and sent plenty of pictures and updates so that I never had to worry about how they were doing.
