About: I have been blessed to grow up with a variety of animals in and around my home. I’ve had a variety of dogs that have ranged from 12lbs to 200lbs. I’ve also had cats in the home, as well. I have taken care of the basics of feeding them, giving clean water (daily), maintaining the litter box (as needed) and even giving insulin injections (to both felines and dogs). I’ve trained many of my larger breed dogs and my service dog. Bathing, feeding, walking and not just for my pets, but also friends & family. Since my sweet Bella (pictured) passed I actually have a 20lb Boston Terrier, named Lucy, now. I also live on a farm where we have 3 miniature horses and one thoroughbred big boy. I’m very flexible in my schedule and if I was needed to stay for extended periods of time, my animals would be taken care of. I’ve been on medical disability for 4 1/2yrs now. Other than my appointments I have throughout the week, my only other commitment is the upkeep of my home and taking care of my animals. I would not be bringing clients pets to my home, as it’s a spacious and fenced in yard; however, we have one dog who doesn’t play well with others. In a client’s home, unless asked by the owner, the only thing I would remove from the home (temporarily), would be the pet. I’m very cautious with another’s fur baby; so, I would treat it as my own with love, snuggles and a gentle touch. I’m always aware of my surroundings, especially with something so precious, to another. I’ve always been described as very trustworthy and compassionate, with people, as well as, with their animals. Pampering and maintaining a secure environment for your animal(s), no matter the type or the amount you may have. About: I’m an animal care professional with a genuine love for pets and plenty of hands-on experience caring for animals. Through my work as a zookeeper, I’ve developed strong skills in understanding animal behavior, providing enrichment, following individual care routines, and making sure every animal feels safe and comfortable. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and love while you’re away! I am able to help during the days/evenings Sundays to Tuesdays and any other day after 5pm for taking out on walks, hanging out, administering any specific medical care, or anything you may need! I can follow any instructions you may need to take special care of your furry friends. I will make sure to always properly follow instructions on how you would like your animal cared for, and can also provide expertise from personal experience in animal care if you need assistance.
About: Hi! I'm Heather — a lifelong animal lover who has rarely spent a single day without a dog by my side. I've been caring for dogs my entire life and currently share my home with four dogs of my own — a 9lb Chihuahua, a 9lb Yorkie-Chi mix, a 50lb Lab mix, and a 75lb Red Retriever — plus a cat and some fish. Safe to say animals are my life! After losing a beloved dog who was poorly cared for at a kennel, I became passionate about providing the kind of attentive, loving care that every pet deserves. I know how much trust it takes to hand your fur baby to someone else — and I take that seriously. I'm available for drop in visits, dog walks, and house sitting. I'm comfortable with all sizes and breeds and happy to accommodate cats too. I'll always follow your specific instructions and send plenty of photos so you never have to wonder how your baby is doing. I'm home all day with four dogs of my own, so visiting or caring for your pet fits naturally into my day. I'm available mornings, afternoons and evenings and can be flexible around your schedule. I follow your instructions exactly — feeding schedules, medications, special routines, off-limit areas — nothing is too detailed. About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and I adore them. I have two dogs of my own, a 12 year old Border Collie mix and a two year old Australian Shepherd, and I volunteer down at the Richmond Animal Shelter every week so I'm used to handling a variety of dogs! I have a very flexible schedule and I would love to work with dogs of any activity level, age, or size! I definitely understand the importance of frequent potty breaks, consistent meal times, and lots of love and playtime! Also, punctuality is something that I take very seriously so you won't have to worry about me being late! About: I am a life long dog and cat lover. Many different breeds growing up and young adulthood. For the last 20 years I have owned 4 Chesapeake Bay retrievers. 2 from pups, last 2 as rescue/re-home. I have been told many times " I have a way with dogs as other's pets act calmer around me than most. I truly enjoy their company and giving them my attention. I am a retired carpenter and now a retired measure tech. I have flexibility in my schedule that allows me to meet many different request. Seeking new clients. I am only looking for care in clients homes. My personal environment is prohibitive as I care for my elderly parents. They care for my pup as their own while I am away.
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs multiple times for an about 4 years. I’m very understanding and don’t ever get mad or stressed with animals even if they don’t listen and I always have a good time spending time with animals. I have a part time job so my routine is pretty flexible. If you need a last minute sitter for a night or for a few hours let me know! I have a cat who is very sweet, his name is Berlin and he gets along and is very playful with animals even hamsters lol
