About: Hello, I’m Liz! I am a second year veterinary student at Oregon State University! I’ve been pet sitting for many years now, caring for animals including dogs and cats. This summer I will be in Pensacola and would love to pet sit! I have quite a bit of animal experience in and out of the vet clinic. I don’t currently have an animal, so I have lots of time to take care of yours! At home I love hiking with my parent’s dog, Millie! At school, I love fostering dogs. Rick was my most recent foster and is the big black and white spotted dog in the photo! If you are looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter or dog walker, I would love to get to know your furry friends! I am comfortable with animals of all ages and sizes. I also have gone through Fear Free training. I just got off of school and am not currently working, so my schedule is very flexible! I will be working part time at a veterinary clinic in August, but am still very available. I am looking to care for your animals in their own home! I feel that pets usually are most comfortable staying in a familiar environment. I am happy to stay over if needed. I am an early bird and I enjoy taking dogs on walks to get some outdoor time!

“Vanessa watched my dogs when I went out of town and my husband away at work. She took very good care of our dogs while we were away. She established a good relationship with all three of them, including Giddy who does not like new people. I was able to relax knowing our pets were in good hands.”

About: As a pet parent for over 60 years, I have always been in touch with my love for and connection with animals. For the past 12 years, I provided care to dogs, cats, birds and rabbits. Through this time, I learned about caring for animals in different stages of life all with different personalities and needs. My certifications in dog training from the Animal Behavior College has given me the knowledge and skills to further understand how to provide the best personalized care to each pet. When not caring for the pets of clients, I volunteer at a shelter as an advocate for the five freedoms for all animals. Pet care is my passion and is my full time career. My commitment to this line of work and my flexible schedule ensures my ability to meet the care needs of each client and their pets. The primary service I offer is providing care in clients’ homes. Whenever intaking new clients and pets, my first step is to schedule a complimentary meet and greet. During this meet and greet, I have a series of questions that I ask to ensure my understanding of exactly what is needed to care for each pet exactly as they need it. Safety and comfort of the pet is my top priority and pride myself on providing that peace of mind to clients.

“Stephanie was great with our three pups! They loved her. Stephanie even refilled our Brita and left the pups a full bowl of water! No one has ever done that before! Thank you.”

About: I have grown up around farm animals, including farm/cattle dogs & cats. I enjoy staying active. Therefore, I like to include the extra workout in my day, as do your pets. I am currently a full time student. However, I typically start my days early to get my workout in or get ahead of school work. Doing so, I manage my time well & leave time in the day to do daily walks or runs. My schedule enables me to be flexible when walking your pet. Based on my past experience, I have mainly done drop in’s or daily walks. Occasionally I house sit for people that I personally know. I have cared for animals of all sizes. I typically ask the owner about any medications or allergies their animal may have. This ensures the pets safety.

Makenna B.
“Kian Makenna has been our trusted petsitter for over 10 years, and we truly couldn’t ask for anyone better. Over the years, Kian has cared for our beloved cat as well as several large-breed dogs—including a 90lb Pitbull/Rottweiler mix, a 115lb Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees, and now a 7-month-old Great Pyrenees. It’s incredibly hard to find someone who is not only comfortable with large dogs, but also calm, confident, and genuinely caring. Our pets absolutely love spending time with Kian Makenna, and we always feel at ease knowing they’re in such capable hands. One of the biggest moments we relied on Kian Makenna was during our wedding in 2018, and we wouldn’t have trusted anyone else. Whether we’re gone for a weekend or an extended trip, we know our pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. Kind, dependable, and experienced—Kian Makenna is hands down the best sitter we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!”

“I have known Rona S for many years. She housesat for my Airedale Terrier and my Siberian Husky from young pups to their senior years. As they aged, both required special care for medical issues. When we found out that my beloved Airedale had developed what turned out to be a very aggressive form of cancer and my husky developed advanced liver disease at the same time, it was Rona who came to visit just to check up on them. She is responsible, compassionate, devoted and loves what she does. In addition to caring for my dogs, my house was always in order upon my return with plants watered, mail taken in, etc. I am soo sorry that she moved away and miss her.
