We initially discussed our ask - a few days stay - and agreed to bring over our Lucy for a quick visit. They were very attentive with great questions about Lucy's needs and habits. Lucy decided to be very ill-behaved at the visit and we offered to connect them with our previous sitter to confirm her usual behavior, which they took us up on. When we dropped off Lucy for the stay, she was wagging her tail and went in without a pause! They sent us pics and updates while we were away, which was such a relief and let us enjoy our time with family. When we arrived to pick up Lucy, she barked at the knock like it was her house! A good sign. She was happy to be home, but so much less stressed than if we had boarded her at the commercial place nearby. From the first meeting we knew she would take excellent care of Larry. Tracey goes the extra mile to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable. Larry gets plenty of exercise, playtime and affection and I could tell he was in the best hands possible. Through out my time away Tracey will send updates with pictures and videos! About: I grew up with dogs and found a love for them at an early age. I always had labrador retrievers but love all dogs. I have been dog walking since middle school and now I am currently a rising junior at Wayne State University and love all pets but love dogs specifically:) I have been dogsitting consistently for family and friends over the years and love taking care of all pets:) I am currently a full time student in the fall, but I babysit a few days a week on but am home a lot/most of the time. I do not have a fenced yard, but am very comfortable taking any dogs out on a leash and am comfortable having your pup sleep with me or can have them in a crate.

About: Hi, my name is Carissa! I am experienced in caring for many animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and even farm animals. I owned an operated an open-play dog boarding and daycare facility in Southern California for five years (from 2014 through 2019) serving over 300 furry clients- all different sizes and personalities. (My old Facebook page with reviews can be seen on facebook by searching CarissaBennettCanineCare). Since moving back to my home-state of Michigan I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years in a general practice clinic, and am able to confidently provide first aid, as well as administer oral, topical, and injectable medications to pets in my care. Additionally, I am comfortable with caring for senior and special needs pets. I love all animals like family and would love the opportunity to care for your furbaby while you are away! I am available all day Fridays-Mondays. Perfect for long weekend trips! I do work to Tuesdays-Thursdays, 8am-5pm, but I am available in the evening on Thursdays for drop-off if needed (for an early Friday morning departure, etc.). I am available for drop-in visits Friday-Monday as well, and can also schedule drop-in visits between 6-8 pm Tuesday-Thursdays. Your pet would have tons of love in our home, with access to all living spaces and our large fenced-in yard. We currently have 1 indoor/outdoor kitty, but our chocolate lab recently passed away, so no pups in the home at this time.

Vanilla takes a small eye drop every morning, which can be a fussy thing to get right, and Angela handled it with total ease. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog. We would book her again in a heartbeat and recommend her for a dog of any age.
Gerrie and her family took wonderful care of Diego. From the pictures they sent regularly, I could tell he was made part of their family during his 8 day stay. Gerrie was flexible with dropoff and pickup times. I will definitely be asking them to care for Diego on my next trip!
This was the second time my Belle stayed with Abbey. The first time was 19 days. And she exceeded my expectations. This second time I breathed easy, knowing Belle was in her care.
