About: I truly adore cats and dogs, and I love getting to know what makes each pet feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m patient, gentle, and always tuned in to what your pet needs—whether it’s extra playtime, a calm presence, or just someone who treats them with the same love they’re used to at home. Your pets become a little part of my heart while they’re with me, and I’m committed to making them feel cared for every moment. Even with a full-time Monday–Friday job, caring for animals is something I naturally make room for—it’s one of the best parts of my day. I’m available in the mornings and evenings for walks, drop-ins, or snuggle visits, and I’m always happy to stop by on my lunch break if a pet needs a little extra attention. Weekends and holidays are even more flexible for me, so I can give your pets plenty of time, love, and consistency. No matter how busy life gets, I make sure the animals I care for feel supported, safe, and looked after. No matter where I’m caring for your pet—my home or yours—I always try to make things feel calm, comforting, and familiar for them. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, whether that means specific feeding times, their favorite walking route, or a special way they like to play or wind down. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and make sure everything stays clean, safe, and just the way you prefer. I give your pet plenty of attention, love, and reassurance so they feel comfortable while you’re away.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! She went above and beyond to make sure our pets were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful, and her communication throughout the stay gave us such peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our pets and treated them as if they were her own. We’re so grateful for the wonderful care she provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable pet sitter!”

“Rylee was a an amazing help for our 10 day trip. She is an absolute professional who has a lot of experience dealing with our babies. She loved and cared for them like they were her own. Lots of cute and fun picture updates. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing that our 2 cats and dog were in good hands. Rylee goes above and beyond when shes at our place, not just taking care of our babies but also looking out for our house as well. I strongly recommend booking Rylee for any pet care needs.”

About: I've grown up around different animals in my home. The most common being dogs with their sizes ranging from a small chihuahua to a large dog who was a mixed breed. Cats were also included in our household, one in particular being quite feisty yet well cared for. Within that household, there were also birds and turtles. I also volunteered at an animal sanctuary for a while so I do have some experience in dealing with the more bizarre kinds of animals as well. I’m currently in the middle of working on my thesis for my master’s degree. Fortunately I’m at a state where my time is quite malleable as long as I’m notified within reason. I did move out of my hometown, so I am currently not caring for any pets which does allow for more free time. As such, I am able to care for most animals at a flexible rate. I can give company to any pet. If necessary, I can help crate them or give other proper care for them. Back home I’ve helped crate and transport my dogs and cat to the vet. When there was thunder one of my dogs was terrified of the sound, so normally we would wrap a blanket or towel around them and hold them to help comfort the little doggy for a while.

“Jackson was a wonderful pet sitter for our 3 dogs and 2cats affectionately known as our zoo. He was very professional and was an excellent at communicating. We will definitely have him petsit for us again.”

“Marla was amazing with our pups! I had one who needed twice daily eye drops. We love all the pics of them hanging out or playing in the backyard. Marla was very patient with Damaris while she warmed up to a new person. I would love to work with Marla when we travel again.”

“Ella was absolutely incredible with our fur babies. Communication was great. She went above and beyond to come meet us and our doggies. I would absolutely recommend her. She is a wonderful young lady.”

About: I have been told that I have a way with animals , especially dogs in terms of gaining their trust. I have raised a number a dogs over 2 decades living on the family ranch. The latest dog I picked out for the family was very shy and scared. But I bonded with him quickly and gained his trust. FYI, I understand that this a job that I must prioritize customer service, and the health and well-being of their pets. I am well aware the duties of house sitting would include washing toys and dishes, mopping if needed, making sure the pets get plenty of play time, walks in parks, cleaning up waste, and giving meds if needed. Also, I’ll bring my own air mattress if you wish me to spend the night house sitting your pet. I am working on getting another part-time job to make ends meet, but I can provide a flexible schedule to ensure your pets gets the best service when I am needed for help I am unable to provide service to have your pet stay at my place. My backyard is too small for starters. And most importantly, the walls and fence are not built properly meaning you dog might be at risk of digging out.
“Jean Paul was great! Very punctual and great communication. Followed our instructions to a T and went above and beyond our expectations. Best of all, our boy was very happy with him. We will definitely be hiring Jean Paul as our sitter. Thank you again!”

“Jackie is a great sitter! One of our shy fur babies took a shine to her and allowed pets. Everything at the house was clean and well cared for. Jackie responds to messages quickly, and I felt I could rely on her. Thank you!”

Animals hold a very special place in my heart & they deserve nothing but love. I can fit your pets care and needs into my schedule without a problem. Let me know the timeframe you need your fur baby taken care of, & they will be first on my list of priorities! I have a fenced yard that is very spacious for your fur baby to roam and play. “Lindsay took wonderful care of my cats!!! She treated them like family. My most timid cat, Nami, ended up becoming best friends with her by the end of it. She also helped out with other things I forgot, like watering my house plants and pulled a package inside my house :) Thanks again, will definitely book again for my next trip”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Grey Forest
Kailin was AMAZING. I had to be out of town for several days due to a funeral and Kailin's diligence, communication and care for my cat made that tough time a lot easier. She is naturally warm, friendly, and clearly gifted with a gentleness animals respond to. Daily updates showed my cat happy and engaged. Kailin left my cat happier and my place cleaner than I had left it. You will NOT be disappointed!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
