“Our Teddy LOVES Karlin! We would absolutely recommend booking with her for any of your pet needs. We booked her for one week of drop-in visits with our "old man" Teddy who's 14 years old and has neurological issues with his back legs along with vision & hearing loss. It just took 2 visits for him to feel comfortable with Karlin. She has never-ending patience with Teddy & even HAND FEEDS him. She also visits with our cat Toby who is usually pretty leery of new people in the house. Because of recent surgery, I was temporarily unable to lift our doggie, so Karlin was a life-saver with her daily drop-in visits. She's sweet as can be and fun to visit with as well. We are all thankful we found her on ROVER!”

About: Growing up with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs, I have a wide array of pet care experience for animal friends large and small. Frequent dogwalker and pet-sitter with extensive knowledge of care practices. I am a remote worker and student in my day-to-day life, so I can frequently care for pets in my off-time in between classes and while working at home. I will be open in my communication about any issues or special needs that pets will need and trust that clients will communicate any special needs to me.

“Sherryann did such a great job with my cat! The two of them got along great from the very first meetup and he was very well taken care of for the duration of my trip. Highly recommend!”

“Arises was so helpful and caring with our two cats while we were out of town. She interacted with them (as much as they would allow) and made sure their needs were met. Would not hesitate to have her take care of them again!”

“Victoria took good care of our dogs. she is an excellent dog sitter and I highly recommend her. She was aware of every little detail and communicated everything to us.”

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I have personally taken my dog to dog training and also have a reference book on it incase a dog proves to be difficult. I love dogs and wish to make them as happy and comfortable as possible. I have had four dogs over my lifetime and I have had responsibility over them. I have extensively learned to care for dogs through training programs, family, and friends. And I'd love to take care of yours!

About: My little pal from my profile picture, Jake, has moved out and I miss the joy of having a pup around so I would love to care for your pal. I have plenty of experience caring for both my own dogs, as well as foster dogs and those of friends and family. My mom actually has 8 dogs that I help care for when she needs a helping hand. I have a very flexible schedule and work from home sometimes, so I will be available for midday walks or home visits. My availability is open for walks, home visits, and overnight care. I look forward to meeting you and your four legged pals! My schedule is very flexible and usually under 30 hours a week, so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with some four legged friends! My home is a condo with a fenced area in a very dog friendly neighborhood in the city. I’ll mention that there stairs as well in case there are any pets that can’t make that climb. However, they are good for playing with high energy dogs. I enjoy snuggling and walking.

About: We would love to take care of your dog(s) while you are out. We have many years of experience handling dogs. I grew up having dogs and have had dogs on and off during my adulthood. We are a family who love pets and we also have had chickens in the past. We currently have an older dog Charm. She is a rescue dog who is a Shih-Tzu/Maltese mix who gets along with other dogs. We will take great care of your dog(s), so you can enjoy your time away without having to worry. I’ll be able to accommodate you with any special instructions. It will be my pleasure to have your dog stay over with us. I want to thank you in advance for trusting us, they will be in good hands. My 13 yr old will also be helping me since the earnings will be going towards her college funds. She has experience with dogs since Charm is hers and she has been taking care of her since she was five years old. She has looked after friend and family dogs and she loves and enjoys looking after them. I do ask that if your pet is boarding with us that they are up to date on all of their vaccines for the safety of both of our pets, potty trained, and does not chew on things. Please pack their food and any toys, blankets, and treats that they love to make their stay feel more like home. We look forwards to meeting you and your lovely dog(s). Have a blessed day. When we have pets in the house someone will always be there. Currently we are available to do Drop-ins visits and walk the dogs weekdays and weekends. We have a fenced yard, but we also take the dogs for walks and the dogs will always be supervised. When doing Drop-in Visits in your home and I am big on respecting your space in the same way that I would want someone to respect my space. I like to create an atmosphere of trust with both your furbabies and your home.

About: I’m a major pet person and I’ve always been drawn to caring for animals. My friends, family, and co-workers have all relied on me to take care of their pets. I’m great with all dog types, sizes, and attitudes. I’m also a huge cat person! Every pet I care for I treat as my own. My availability is currently wide open. I work freelance I’m film and TV production and there aren’t many projects in town at the moment . I’ve had many different dogs growing up and have dealt with many different personalities/breeds. I have experience in crating and making sure the animals stayed on their proper diets.

About: I love animals just as much as the next person, but I think it’s very important to keep your pets active and happy! I want to focus on healthy physical activities for your fur babies during my time with them in order to get some of that extra energy out! I am currently available every day after 3pm and all day on Sundays and Mondays. I will update my calendar with any changes that come along so you always have an accurate depiction of my availability. I always like to respect my clients’ rules of the house, especially when the owners are not with the pet. I know animals require a lot of routine, and I try my best to keep all of their daily activities within that specific pets’ routine.

About: My family rescued our first dog, April from the local dive bar when I was six years old. According to the vet, April was just two weeks. She had been separated from her mother at birth and hadn’t even opened her eyes yet. My parents worried she'd be too much trouble. I begged to keep her and promised I'd take care of her. April became my sister, my best friend, and my greatest teacher. I fed April from a bottle, taught her how to walk up the stairs, and took her to puppy training classes. April taught me the practice of presence, and the value of unconditional love. Our time spent together makes up some of my most cherished childhood memories. At the age of 13, pet-sitting became my first job. I loved it so much, I didn’t even understand how it could be considered a job. I took care of the animals, and the animals took care of me. In my decade+ of pet-sitting, I’ve worked with a range of breeds, ages, and temperaments. Walking 100lb. pitbulls with fear aggression. Administering medication to seniors. Feeding finicky rescued stray cats. I even fostered and re-homed an abandoned puppy that found me on the beaches of Costa Rica. I can confidently claim that I’ve never once had an animal “reject” me as their caretaker, and I think that says a lot. In the last 6 years, I’ve been living and traveling as a digital nomad. My lifestyle doesn’t currently allow for a pet of my own, so pet-sitting is a blessing that allows me the opportunity to care for pets as if they were my own. I work part-time as a meditation & yoga teacher, and part-time remote as an event organizer. This lifestyle allows me to be very flexible in taking on pet-sitting and house-sitting opportunities. I can build most of my work day around your pets schedule (and I'm more than happy to do so!) I offer long-term and short-term visits and overnight stays to take care of your pets in their own home. I've found that, for most pets, being in the security and routine of their own environment is the best way for them to cope with their owners temporary absence. I make sure to upkeep your pet's sense of "normalcy" to the best of my ability by feeding and walking them at regular intervals, being an active participant in play time (when desired), giving them snuggles (when desired), and just keeping them company! I make sure to upkeep YOUR sense of "normalcy" by respecting your space, keeping it as clean and organized as when I arrive (if not even more so), and following any & all house rules. In addition to overnights, I LOVE to take on daily walks and wellness checks when you're at work or just too busy to do it all on your own!

About: With years of animal care experience, I offer personalized attention to each pet’s unique needs, whether it's playful puppies or senior pets needing extra TLC. I’m reliable, flexible, and always eager to provide a safe, fun, and caring environment for your furry family members. Whether for walks, overnight stays, or specialized care, your pet's happiness and safety are my top priorities I am working as a substitute teacher. So I often have days off. While school is off, I have time to go on long walks, or have your pet stay over night. If all you need is for me to pass by for a checkup, take them out for a potty break, or refill the food and water bowls, thats totally doable too! On Thursdays after 4.30 I can always take in pets for the evening or the whole night. Please, don't hesitate to contact me even if my schedule shows no availability as I can be flexible with my time. If needed, I can also take your pet over the weekend, if I have enough notice in advance. I have a fenced yard. A fully closed porch. No pets, no smoking. Clean and safe, 2 Bedroom house. I live in a calm neighborhood with a dog-park nearby.

About: I offer a unique and caring approach to pet sitting, specializing in puppy carr and senior care. My skills were honed over three years working at a professional pet care center in Lyon, France, where I gained hands-on experience with a variety of needs, including medication and specific routines. I provide safe, customized care for every pet and will send you plenty of updates and photos if requested. I'm passionate about fitness and animals, so I've found the perfect combination: dog walking! I'm dedicated to providing high-energy walks that benefit both of us. Your dog gets the stimulating exercise they need, and I get my daily cardio in. It's a win-win! I'm responsible, reliable, and committed to giving your dog a safe and fun experience. Let's make sure your pet feels happy and secure while you're away. My schedule is very open, morning to evening, up until August 16th, 2025. I'll be sure to update my profile with my class schedule after that. I see every walk as a total experience, not just a chance for exercise. It's also a dedicated safety check! I'm always super aware of our surroundings, keeping my eyes peeled for any potential hazards and making sure your dog is happy and comfortable with the environment. My experience at a pet care center in France was a huge help, teaching me to be proactive and to really understand a dog's body language. I can spot and prevent issues before they ever become a problem. My main goal is to keep your dog's routine just as it is, right in the comfort of their own home. By sticking to their regular schedule for walks, potty breaks, and playtime, I can help minimize stress and maximize their happiness. Our energetic walks are the perfect way to provide an enriching experience and some new scenery, all while making sure your dog feels totally secure and loved.

About: I love all personality types in dogs, and can easily adapt to best suit the environment that your dog thrives in. Our animals speak to us just as clearly as any human, and I pay attention to those details to provide the best care for your pet. I am flexible in availability, scheduling, and demands. While I pay attention to the little things and provide specialized care for your dog, I will always defer to the heart that holds the pet - yours! I am currently on summer break from teaching until August 4, so I have a lot of flexibility for the next couple weeks. Weekends are always flexible. M-F I am happy to do overnights and potty breaks during my lunch breaks. I am at work from 8-4, but can dedicate my 4-9 to hours walks, play, attention, or just keeping an eye on your pet! Building trust with you and your dog are the most important steps to maintaining respectful boundaries. Because I only offer service in my clients home, I will adapt based on your needs and requests related to the dog AND your home. It takes a lot to feel comfortable with someone in your home taking care of something precious, and so little to break that bond. It is of the utmost importance to me that I am a trustworthy, careful person throughout our interactions.

About: From Great Danes to tabby cats and farm friends, I’ve been caring for animals as long as I can remember. Most recently I’ve been my friends and family’s go-to pet sitter and walker. I’m experienced with elderly and disabled dogs, as well as caring for pets with specific dietary and other medical needs (including the extremely anxious). I’m a full time remote worker with total control over my schedule so I’m very flexible. I am pretty active and enjoy at least one walk per day, I can often be seen walking my own pup around my neighborhood or local trails. I am a very attentive pet parent and prefer to break up time spent between socialization and activity, general care (food, cleaning, etc), walks and calming time. I prefer not to spend much time around others homes but mine is pet proof with a large fenced yard, ample cozy space and an easy to reach location

“We’ve used Renee several times over the past two years. She always goes above and beyond to care for my dog. Walks him each time which he loves! Very trust worthy.”

Jared V.
“Jared is the best! He cared for my dog Simon, while I was out of the country. Simon has a leaky eye that needs gentle cleaning every day, plus he insists on eating his meals straight from someone’s hand. Jared handled it all with so much patience, care, and good humor. He kept up with his medications, made sure he felt safe and loved, and sent me regular updates and photos that truly brightened my day. I’m so grateful to have found someone who embraced Simon and treated him like their own. Simon misses Jared already!”

Sherryann S.

Cindy O.Star Sitter
“Cindy is an excellent dog sitter. Over the last ten years, she has cared for our dog, Lindsey. Either for a short weekend, or for an extended vacation my husband and went on. We had no worries knowing he was in good hands. Cindy lives alone and has no pets of her own because she does go out of town occasionally. She has a doggy door in her kitchen which allows Lindsey to go to her huge fenced-in back yard carpeted with St. Augustine grass. Cindy is trustworthy and reliable. Dogs don't lie, and if they like you, you know it. Cindy loves my Lindsey, and he loves her too. If Cindy is available, you would be blessed for her to care for your dog.”

Natalie O.
“Natalie is a true animal lover at heart. She provides exceptional care and comfort for my dog and every animal under her watch. I received constant updates of how Bentley was doing. Would recommend her service to others. ”

Juliana Á.
“Juliana is my wife and we have been using Rover as our go to pet sitter when taking trips and while out and about in different areas around the states. She is the sweetest woman I know, and one of the reasons I married her. She takes wonderful care of our dogs when I am offshore working. She never misses a walk with our dogs, unless it is raining. Giving medicines is no problem for her with our dogs. We come in contact with many dogs amongst our family members and she knows how to build a trusting relationships with all of them. I recommend Juliana caring for any dog. She does an outstanding job with our dogs.”

Wendy K.
“Wendy is very kind hearted. She has fostered for an SPCA in New Orleans, sat for my son's dog when they went out of town quite a few times. And if I go out of town she will come and care for my animals: 2 donkeys, 5 goats, 6 cats, 9 dogs, and 10 horses. She is very reliable and follows directions well. Some of my horses are on special diet and medications.”
