“Jeff is fantastic, so kind and generous and our boys always come back so happy. We never worry when we leave, because we know they are so well taken care of. When we pulled up to Jeff’s house, they started barking and getting so excited to see him. Thanks Jeff for all your help. We’re so glad we found you!”

“Crystal is so amazing!!! She is patient, thoughtful and caring. My Junior was well taken care and I felt comfortable with leaving him with Crystal. I’ve already booked my next appointment for Junior and I know there will be many more appointments in the future. Crystal is the best!!!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover since a kid, and am excited to care for your pet! I’m a grad student in MD and am a proud pet parent of 2 Yorkie-mix dogs. I have experience with pet feeding, long walks, and fun playtime. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs of all sizes. My husband and I are fairly flexible, and I often work from home. We have a large backyard where your dog(s) can safely play and enjoy the outdoors. I’m a grad student who has a very flexible schedule. I walk the dogs around 7:30am, brush their teeth, and set out their food. I also go on midday walks so they are mentally and physically stimulated. My husband takes the dogs out for long walks in the evenings as well. We are happy to include your pets into this schedule or add any additional care into this routine per your request and/or according to your pet’s needs. I have a large yard and 2 lovable pups that can keep your dog(s) company. We go on frequent walks and bathroom breaks around our quiet neighborhood and have tons of play space around the house. I am happy to honor any requests to care for one family’s pets at a time, and will absolutely treat your pet(s) as if they were my own.
“Akeem was super attentive! Though Leo was only with him for daycare, Akeem sent a bunch of pictures and videos of Leo having a great time. Akeem's pups were super friendly, his backyard was a big plus, and he was super flexible. Leo came home exhausted and seemed to have been very comfortable!”

“I brought my little senior to Denisha and I could not have been happier with the care she took with him. She has true caring for animals and she cared for my dog as well as she cared for her own dogs. They went on walks and when she noticed he was lagging, she picked up his ten pound self and carried him the rest of the way. She cues into behaviors to figure out dynamics and issues. She was just great. I loved that she took him on walks because no place I have taken him has ever put that effort into him. Please consider Denisha as a caretaker for your dog. I will definitely be going back to her.”

“Danielle is great with Diggy. She keeps me updated during his stay and also send pictures. I truly appreciate her in taking care of my fur baby. Thank you, Danielle and you are greatly appreciated!!!”
“Catie always takes such good care of my pup, introduces her to new dogs and experiences, and communicates proactively about general updates and any potential concerns. Bertie loves going over and comes home tired and happy.”

“Rita was absolutely amazing with my dog, Natalie! Natalie can be reactive and typically needs time to adjust to new environments and people, but Rita went above and beyond to make sure she felt comfortable and supported. She took the time to really understand Natalie’s needs, triggers, and what makes her happy, which made such a difference. I really appreciated the regular photo updates and how communicative she was throughout—checking in, asking thoughtful questions, and keeping me reassured the entire time. It’s clear Rita genuinely cares and puts in the extra effort, and because of that, Natalie had a great experience. I’m so grateful and would absolutely book with her again. Thank you, Rita!”
“This was my puppy’s first time at doggy daycare, and Jayla was amazing! She made me feel completely comfortable, kept me updated throughout the day, and sent plenty of photos. My pup had a great time playing and socializing with another puppy. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience — highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m Ashley, and I’d love to help take care of your pets like they’re my own 🐾 I used to be on Rover a little while back but took a break to pursue school. Now I’m back since I’m more steady in my studies! A little about me is I worked as a veterinary assistant for 4 years, so I have hands-on experience with animals of all kinds, including those who may be a little shy, anxious, or need extra care. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medications, and recognizing when something might be off with your pet. I’m currently in nursing school, so caregiving is a big part of who I am. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, and I treat it as more than just a side job—it’s something I take seriously and put my heart into. I also make sure to send plenty of pictures and updates so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and in good hands (yes, expect cute photo spam 😄). Whether your pet needs walks, drop-in visits, or just some extra love while you’re away, I’ve got you covered! How does pet care fit into your daily or weekly routine? I’m available in the mornings, which works perfectly for pets that need early walks, feeding, or company before the day gets busy. I’m consistent and reliable with timing, so your pet can stick to their normal routine without stress. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, a walk, or morning care, I’ll make sure they start their day happy and cared for. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and clean environment for every pet. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and any specific routines. I pay attention to behavior and body language to make sure your pet is comfortable and secure. I also keep communication open with updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for several years and truly see them as part of the family. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities—from playful puppies to calm senior dogs who need extra patience and care. About: I've always had dogs growing up in southern Virginia. I have taken care of my own pets for the past 10 years, I have a dog and a cat (that acts like a dog). My dog is not spayed, so I have experience with dogs in heat. If your dog is not neutered, I have experience monitoring behavior and separating the animals. My parent's dog is not neutered. As a loving parent of a goldendoodle, pet care is a big part of my daily routine. I am able to work remotely on most days so I can be flexible with my dog walking schedule. Most mornings start with fresh water and fresh food and a walk. I usually walk my dog again during lunch and then after the work day is over in the evening. I understand dog/cat behavior and know when to separate the animals. Moreover if you dog is crate trained, I will use that as their safe space whenever they may be anxious. If possible, please leave an item from home with your scent.
Greater Landover dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was my puppy’s first time at doggy daycare, and Jayla was amazing! She made me feel completely comfortable, kept me updated throughout the day, and sent plenty of photos. My pup had a great time playing and socializing with another puppy. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience — highly recommend!

Took my pupper on last-minute & were a very sweet, pleasant, accommodating pair! Sent plenty of photo/video updates, kept him constant company & kept-up with his needs! Thank you both for being available & kind to my little one; will definitely need you in the future! ☺️

Chris came through at a very critical time for us . This was our first time leaving our Rocky with anyone and we were very nervous of leaving him. But we are very pleased with everything , Chris was very responsive and sent pictures of our dog while we were away .

I highly recommend doggy daycare/ boarding with Natashia! She provides excellent care for my Coconut. I appreciate the regular photo updates, which give me peace of mind while I'm away. It's clear Coco gets plenty of exercise and attention, as he comes home tired from being out + playing with Appa (her pup). That’s why we book with her weekly! It’s truly a home away from home for Coco, that’s why he never wants to leave when I pick him up! Thanks Natashia!
