Lots of work to get there but I’d love to help anyone else who struggles to ring “the right” sitter for their stubborn pet. I have volunteered at the local spca to walk all the dogs (with pitties having that special place in my heart). Looking to build a new work/life balance focused on taking care of animals so I am free most days and times of the day. Weekends, daytimes and evenings welcome. Each animal is different. Some pets need time to warm up so I approach animals with respect in their own homes and take the time to gain their trust. I tend to get down on the animals level and let them approach me.
