About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I combine real-world experience, behavioral training, and problem-solving approach focused on building confident, reliable dogs and owners. I currently have a full-time job but I am very flexible with scheduling. we can chat about scheduling. I am usually off at least 4 days a week. I have a fenced in back yard that sits on 2 acers of land. I have different rooms in my house to crate or keep your dog if it needs to be away from my dogs.
“Stephanie is amazing! Absolutely will use her again. Albus had such a great time with her family and with Blaze! She sent photos and updates often. I love how organized her routine is and fit well with our lifestyle. She is the best!!!”

“Moose had the best weekend with Shelby and her pup! It’s always nerve wracking when you leave your pet for the weekend but Shelby made us feel so comfortable by sending photos and treating Moose like her own. Highly recommend her to watch your fur baby!”

“Elena did an amazing job with our Old English Sheepdog Lady. I could really tell that she loves taking care of animals, and she did a great job. Our dog was pretty nervous as she went to the vet the day before, but Eleana made her feel at home and I thank her for that. I highly recommend her.”
“Thanks for taking good care of our Murphy while we explored Baltimore for a bit. It was easier dropping him off instead of keeping him penned up in a hotel room not knowing how he’d be. Thanks so much!”

“Beth is amazing! She took such loving care of our senior pup - he was happy and treated like a prince, and we got to enjoy our trip worry-free. Beth is a game changer for us - we couldn't recommend her more highly.”

“Candice was amazing with my dog, Nagi. This was the first trip my family and I had taken since getting her, so leaving her with someone new made us a little nervous at first. We chose Candice based on her profile and reviews, and she absolutely did not disappoint. My family and I were able to fully enjoy our spring break trip knowing our pup was in excellent hands. Candice provided lots of updates with pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind and made us feel connected to Nagi while we were away. Nagi decided she didn’t want to use the stairs for the first few days of her stay, but Candice was incredibly patient and treated her like one of her own pups the entire time. She even carried Nagi up and down the stairs until she felt comfortable enough to use them like she normally does. Halfway through Nagi’s 1 week stay, she started having an upset tummy. Candice went above and beyond by picking up medicine for her, feeding her boiled chicken and rice, and taking care of multiple accidents when Nagi couldn’t make it outside in time. Candice also has a pup of her own, Rayne, which made Nagi’s stay even more fun. It was clear Nagi had a wonderful time and felt comfortable there. When we picked her up, she looked so happy, relaxed, and content, which told me everything I needed to know about how well she was cared for. If we ever need a sitter again, I would absolutely book with Candice again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up with dogs taught me exactly how to read their body language and give them the care, attention, and love they deserve. I treat every furry guest just like my own, making sure they stay happy, active, and fully comfortable while you're away I’m currently working a full-time job, but I work remotely every other week which gives me some spare time and I’d love to use it to spend with some dogs. I do have two kids ages three and eight both love dogs. I don’t have any dogs in my own, but I plan to get one and then your future however I was in our home with four dogs at a time
“Brigid took care of my senior girl, Chloe, for 4 nights. She was open to a last minute meet and greet. She accommodated Chloe’s senior needs, sent updates, and gave a nice verbal summary at how Chloe’s time went and included things she will miss about her. Chloe seemed content when I arrived, often going over to Brigid several times while we packed up all of her things into the car. Being a dog sitter myself, I found comfort in that, considering they were strangers just days before. I would recommend Brigid!”

“Tanya is friendly and provided a comfortable environment. Her schedule is flexible and she is responsive. My Banger didn’t want to leave. Looking forward to booking with her again.”

“Will was so great to our gal! He has a great property that is great for dogs who like to run around and kept us updated the whole time with pictures, what they did, and how our dog was doing. He was also very responsive and considerate of our dog’s needs. This was our first time using Rover and we were so impressed with how smooth the process was and how well they took care of our dog. Would highly highly recommend.”

“Chris was awesome! He provided regular communication and updates. He also treated my pet like his own. It was clear that Chris gave Ziggy great care and attention. Thanks!”

“Aleah was great with our senior pup. She sent photos and communicated wonderfully. The house is clean and dogs are super friendly! We will be booking again! Thanks again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
