“Cassandra was the best! Great with details, very communicative, and, most importantly, she was amazing with our two kitties! They are usually a little skittish, but warmed right up to her. She gave them food and water, played with them, cleaned up after them, and even brushed them (our long-haired cat needs regular grooming). It was such a relief during our vacation to know our girls were in such great hands!”

“Coretta did an amazing job taking care of our cats while we were away. She went above and beyond - taking care of unforeseen issues that popped up and sending thoroughly documented (and cute) reports after each visit. I would recommend her to anyone as a trustworthy, compassionate, and knowledgeable caretaker for your animals.”

“Thank you!!!”

“It was my first time using rover and I was looking for someone who truly understands dogs, and its Tamara! Tamara was a true blessing while I was away in Mexico. My dog isn’t usually quick to trust—he even tried to bite her when they first met—but she was so patient and kind with him. By the end of the week, he was waiting at the door for her, tail wagging, 30 minutes early. I could tell he really bonded with her. I’m so grateful and would absolutely have her watch him again.”

“Samantha was fantastic! She was incredibly thoughtful and went above and beyond, from keeping our cat’s food area clean to bringing up packages for us. It was a relief to know that he was in good hands while we were away. On top of all that, we loved the holiday photos she took of our cat!”

“Laurel has been great with our dog! Rufio was super happy and she was very prompt with visits, great to work with on scheduling, and very friendly! Plus got some super cute pics of the pup during her visits :)”

“Beverly was super helpful and kind with our dog Oliver. He immediately liked her and she was great at communicating and sending pictures/ updates. Will definitely be contacting her next time we need a pet sitter!”

“Malcomn took such great care of my cat, Kashi. He was very communicative and sent updates and photos everyday which I thoroughly appreciated. Kashi and I are so grateful for Malcomn’s service!”

About: I've had dogs in my life since day one, and have ample experience caring for furry friends, including my neighbors' pups. There's nothing quite like sharing a walk or run with a dog and burning off some energy together – it's where the real bond happens! My part-time work schedule, primarily in the mornings, provides ample flexibility to dedicate quality time to your pet. I'm committed to ensuring your furry friend receives multiple walks daily and feels completely at ease and happy during their stay. I'm also available for consistent communication to keep you updated on their well-being throughout the day. My home offers a secure, fully fenced backyard and a peaceful neighborhood perfect for leisurely dog walks. Plus, I'm just steps away from a dog park for extra energetic playtime! When caring for your pet in your home, I prioritize maintaining their familiar routine and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment by following your specific instructions meticulously. Your pet's well-being and your peace of mind are my top concerns.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their dogs whether big or small. I’ve been sitting with Rover for over 1 year now. I work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to take your pet on potty breaks, give them attention, and walk them throughout the day. I want their attention & companionship as much as they want mine! I love having someone to take on walks with me. I love being outside just as much as they do & I know how important it is for them to be able to sniff on their walks so I never deny that. My apartment has plenty of space for them to play and windows so they’re able to look out.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs—big and small!—my entire life, and I’ve missed interacting with them since I’ve moved to Illinois. I have extensive experience caring for the pets of family and friends, and pet safety is my #1 priority! I’m currently a student working remotely, so I have time most weekdays and weekends to spend time with your pups and/or take them on walks! I am very conscientious of the environment when handling pets in and out of the home. It’s important to me that pets are secure when on walks or in their home. I’m comfortable crating dogs when desired and double checking any doors, fences, and/or leashes, depending on the setting.

“Bola’s wonderful! We’re glad to have her support with our dogs.”

About: I'd love to meet your dog or cat and you can trust I'll treat them like my own. I know how to keep them safe and happy while you're away. I'll send you a good photo too my camera roll is mostly all photos of dogs. I work freelance so my availability is flexible. I prefer we conduct a meet and greet first, to make sure your pet is comfortable with our plans! Walks and care provided in clients home only, I can't provide boarding. I will be sure we establish comfort in our meet and greet, please be sure to provide vet information in case of any unexpected emergency.

“Jayden is the best, so kind and attentive and thoughtful! We love seeing all the cute pictures they take, and our two picky cats love Jayden’s care and company.”

“Daniela is great! She is very responsive and my dogs really enjoy her.”

“Dominique did a wonderful job! She was the first sitter I hired for my new pet. Her videos and pictures of my little kitten made me feel a lot better about having to leave. I hope to employ Dominique many times in the future, she makes sure our fur babies are safe and loved.”

About: I bring hands-on experience and genuine love for animals into every pet-sitting job. I have two dogs of my own (ages 7 and 4) whom I trained myself from puppyhood—including potty training by 6 months! I groom them myself regularly, take them on daily walks, and have experience administering medications for allergies, ear infections, preventative care, and post-procedure care. Whether your pet needs structured training support, gentle senior care, or just someone who truly understands their needs and routines, I'm here to offer reliable, compassionate service. Your pets will be treated like family—because that’s exactly how I treat my own. As a medical student who primarily studies from home, I have a very flexible and consistent schedule. Outside of 2-3 hours a day when I’m on campus, I’m home and fully available to care for pets. This allows me to give them plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and any needed care throughout the day. Having a structured but home-based routine makes it easy for me to prioritize your pet’s needs and keep them happy, healthy, and comfortable while you're away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s, my approach is all about providing a safe, loving, and low-stress environment that mirrors their usual routine as closely as possible. In my home, pets have a calm, pet-friendly space where they can relax, play, and enjoy plenty of attention. I do daily walks, structured feeding times, and lots of one-on-one interaction. If I’m caring for pets in their own home, I make it a priority to maintain their normal schedule—walks, meals, playtime, and any special instructions—so they feel secure and comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I’m also experienced with medication administration and basic grooming, and I keep pet parents updated regularly with messages and photos so they can feel at ease while they’re away.

About: I have experience with dogs with anxiety who use medication, needy/clingy dogs, and dogs with disabilities. I am extremely thorough and patient in case something goes wrong with them and I maintain a calm demeanor at all times. When it comes to instructions, please provide a brief, detailed description of your pet's daily routine and I'll follow it to the letter. I'm currently a graduate student at CSU; summers are a slow period for me. I am more than willing to babysit pets for as many nights, walks, feeding times as needed. During school time I will do walks, feeding visits and the occasional overnight weekend stay. I am committed to your pet's comfort level and will adapt to their schedule to the best of my ability. I will spoil them rotten because I absolutely love all dogs and cats of all shapes and mannerisms. Even if they hate me. If I am confused about anything regarding your pet's behavior, such as licking paws, over-grooming, an increase in urination, I will let you know about it as soon as I see it. I also LOVE talking to the pets so I will have full-on conversations with them. I'm especially good with repeat visits so if you are interested in having a one-time sitter for the next few years, I'm MORE than willing to take up that responsibility. Familiarity is very important with pets and as mentioned before, I am focused on the pet's comfort.

“Christopher was very accommodating and pleasant to work with!”

Mia L.
“Mia has watched my two cats many times -- each time she has been SO caring and attentive. My cats are picky eaters, and she took extra care when making sure they were fed. She went above and beyond with playing with them and keeping them company while I was gone. She kept me up-to-date on anything that seemed out of the ordinary, but was very self-sufficient and kept contact low but quality high until I returned. I trust her so much with my cats!”

Taylor C.
“I have a small mixed breed dog and she loves Taylor. Taylor plays unlimited amounts of fetch with her and at the end of the day she is exhausted. My dog’s tail wags 50 mph when she sees Taylor.”

Alexa B.Star Sitter
“I've had Alexa cat sit for us several times when I've gone on vacation. She always takes care to make sure that the cats are fed and that the litter box is cleaned on time. Another nice thing about Alexa is that she also gives the cats plenty of physical activity which is greatly appreciated. One final thing that I want to make a note of is that she is very careful regarding how much she feeds the cats. One of our cats tends to over eat and can be food aggressive, so it is tempting to over feed him. Alexa does not give into his demands and helps him stay on his intended diet.”
