“Malina is very easy to work with and a pleasure to interact with. She took great care of my silly pups and I would happily recommend her to anyone. Looking forward to working with her again!”

“Excellent meet and greet! My dog is very anxious in general, and specifically wary of new people, and he read Lauren's calm and steady energy and responded accordingly. I'm excited to have Lauren spend more time with my dog.”

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs, cats, and everything in-between for as long as I can remember. From pit-bulls to terriers, handicapped chickens to one eyed kittens and animals with at least 8 legs, i’ve seen it all. Apart from caring for my own dogs, cats, and other pets over the years, I did freelance petsitting and dog walking in and around my neighborhood for around seven years, ranging from dog walks while the owner was at work, to late night cat feedings and prescription medication administration, to trying to give a rabbit a bath. I have a high level of experience caring for both puppies/kittens and elderly dogs and cats, having worked to foster puppies and kittens with my local ASPCA for nearly a decade as well as helped raise and train one of my family dogs, and care for my elderly, disabled dog in her later years. I also have background training with the ASPCA regarding animal safety (specifically reactive or defensive dogs) and basic dog and cat body language, crucial aspects of keeping everyone involved healthy and happy! I’m currently a college student home for the summer- my schedule is very open and very flexible, depending on the individual needs of the animal. I can match whatever level of energy your pet needs within the home- whether it be constant cuddles and attention, hours of playtime, or just an omniscient hand filling the food bowl and grabbing the leash! I’m comfortable administering oral or topical medications, able to control and crate dogs if the need arises, and (i’d like to think) i’ve learned some pretty good strategies to stop unwanted barking late at night over the years. I value the mental and physical comfort of the animal i’m caring for first and foremost, whether that means hands on attention or a more quiet, calm approach to time spent with your pet. I’m willing to care for and spend time with shy or reactive dogs as long as they’re within my size range. Having owned both a very senile, timid dog and a very reactive, defensive dog, it’s important to me that they receive the amount of care and attention in the home they deserve :)

“We were thrilled with Katie’s care of our cats. Communication was great, including detailed rover cards and cute pics each visit. Katie paid special attention to each cat’s quirks and took extra care to tire out our high-energy kitten. We just had a lot of peace of mind on our trip knowing they had such super competent care. Would highly recommend for your pet sitting needs!”

“Nicole was a wonderful dog sitter for us. She took great care of our two dogs, providing updates and photos. 5 stars. Thank you so much! Means the world to us 💙”

“Nick was very kind and attentive to our new puppy. They had experience with young puppies and knew age appropriate ways for her to play and get her energy out during the day. We really appreciated having Nick available to give her that care! I would gladly rebook with Nick the next time we need care for our puppy.”

About: 7+ years of experience caring for my family’s dog. I’ve pet sit for a friend for a weekend and a few days. One small and medium sized. This experience involves about two years. Whether training or not I can properly clean up after your dog. Walks, clean up, scheduled feeding time, quality time, and attention to detail is what I can provide for your pet while you are away or in need of assistance. I work during the week in from Monday to Friday. My hours are from 8am to 2pm. My schedule is flexible at the moment. In the afternoon and early morning I am available. Weekends are also open for my services. Throughout the day I can also conduct stops or drop ins. In my home cats are welcome and I have space to accommodate a litter box, food/water, toys, and plenty of space for the cat to roam or play. I also have a medium sized gated backyard for dogs. Plenty of parks and walking areas near by. My neighborhood is relatively quiet and pet friendly.

“Zachary was reliable, communicative, and friendly. He did an excellent job providing drop-in cat care to my cat Constance, mastering an automatic feeder. He was very patient with my texting and requests during an 11-day trip. I would enthusiastically recommend his services!”

“Ivan was great! I was a little nervous because my cat can be really skittish and stressed around strangers (and for a few days after), but she was perfectly chill.”

“Nathalie was the absolute best! After scrambling to find someone to drop in on Smokey with short notice, we are SO glad to have found Nathalie through Rover. Great communication, consistent updates, and obviously passionate about animals. Would highly recommend and will definitely be reaching out for future needs!”

“We just started recurring services with Elizabeth, and she has been incredibly patient and loving with my dogs. One of my dogs is very afraid of new people and she has taken time to let the dog take his time getting to know her. She has been very respectful of my home and cleaned up messes as she sees them. Above and beyond service.”

“Once again, Angela was an amazing sitter for our cat while we were away for the week! Thoughtful and communicative, she understood our girls unique needs. We came home to a happy and healthy kitty! All pet parents know how hard it is to leave your babies, but the pictures and updates make it easier to feel good about the care they're getting. Thanks so much for everything you do!”

About: Coming from a professional animal family, I have been involved in various animal organizations and activities throughout my life. These include AKC, canine rescue, dog, cat and horse massage, dog training, puppy rearing, dog shows as a handler and helper, agility, obedience, pet sitting, dog walking, etc. I've always felt incredibly close to animals of all shapes, and sizes. I grew up with Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs, the occasional all-breed foster and house cats. In addition, I have been riding and helping care for horses for as long as I can remember and have experience with goats, cows, rabbits, chickens, etc. Over the years I have been hired to feed and care for just about every sort of animal commonly kept by people. I am very comfortable with daily visits as well as overnights. Additionally, I am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes on leashes and love taking pets for walks. I'm currently a 34-year-old Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with a minor in Russian) as well as a Bachelor of Science in Development and Family Studies. I am currently working part-time from home with the ability to schedule based on the needs of the animal and would have plenty of time for quality care either in my own home or yours, whichever would suit your needs best. I am comfortable caring for your pet in whatever environment you would prefer, including leashing them in a public park space or exercising them in their home environment. I would be happy to discussed any preferred place of care.

About: Currently studying veterinary science, so taking care of your animal is my profession! Working at an animal shelter part-time as an Animal Care Tech. Walked on wag before moving to Rover for sitting. Since working part-time, I am available throughout the week and late nights as well. Busy on the weekends and schooling in the morning. I made my schedule to have my afternoons and evenings free. 'I have a small mini poodle at home that loves to play. No strangers around your fur babies, currently living alone. I have a puppy-proof apartment set up for free roam and no easy access to anything harmful.

About: I've always had dogs. I do well with big dogs who might need a strong walker. I love to play with animals and hang out with them. I love the chill dogs and the ones with intense zoomies! I have a flexible schedule! Mostly I'm looking for any time weekend/long weekend gigs from Thursday-Sundays. I can definitely do other days but my availability is more limited. I take pet safety seriously. I always treat your animals like my own. I follow your instructions closely and send plenty of updates and cute pics so you know everything’s going smoothly. On walks, I’m careful about traffic, other dogs, and anything that might spook or overstimulate your pup. Whether I’m in your home or hosting your pets in mine, I create a calm, secure environment where they can relax, have fun, and feel loved.

“Sophia was wonderful! Stepped in last minute over the Christmas holiday and was great with communication and photos. Super loving towards Ella & Satchel. Followed our instructions perfectly. Would love to book her again.”
