Sarah is so wonderful with our German Shepherd. She was so thoughtful about the weather conditions this week and made sure our girl was well taken care of. Sarah is the best!

Melody and Rufus enjoyed their time with Anne. Anne took great care of them both and we will be having her take them both for walks weekly. Thank you for being so great with our dogs💕

About: Hi! I am a stay-at-home mom of two human babies and two fur babies. I previously worked in upstate NY for a dog training company, My Dog Hikes, as a dog hiker where we took dogs from NYC into the woods for full day dog-care fun. Because of this I am comfortable giving medication and training commands. I also have a Cattle Dog (Clayton) and Black Lab (Tarzan) of my own. I would love to take your little ones on the trails, play fetch in the yard, or just snuggle on the couch with lots of pets. I have a very open schedule so can work around any timeframe you need! As childcare is very expensive, please note before booking me that my son, Eli (3), will be joining me on jobs during the week (daytime only). We can always meet beforehand to see if it's a good fit! **Temporarily pausing in home stays until my husband returns home from deployment** As I am a stay-at-home mom your typical work week is when I am available. I can be flexible around your schedule! I can also stop by to spend some time with your pets on the weekend, so you can go enjoy a trip away. (: I do not care for dogs in my own home as my Lab does not like other dogs. In your home, however, I take care to follow all instructions closely! I take many pictures so prepare for cuteness overload. I also have experience working with a dog training/walking company in NYC and am comfortable with a wide array of needs.

About: I've spent a few different winters working for a doggy daycare where you need to arrange a schedule for each dog to go walk and go play. Some days we would have forty plus dogs all needing care and attention. I've also volunteered a substantial amount on many organic farms and working with all sorts of animals, learning how to read different animal personalities and manage their care I currently work from home and on the side have picked up many gigs and different short term services to fill the gaps in my schedule. Dog visits and walks are one of my favorite ways to break the day up and make it less boring. Feeding according to owners schedule and multiple short walks each day. I own a small property surrounded by virgin forest where dogs love to go and explore or for more fragile dogs can walk/play around small yards or dog friendly parks. I will always respect a clients home as a client and will never take advantage of the trust I am given for these type of jobs

About: I grew up on farms and ranches, and have cared for both dogs and cats of all sizes, dispositions, and ages. How can I help you create the perfect, supportive routine for your fur-baby(ies). What do they need? More walks? Someone to watch them while you are at work or on vacation? Let me support you, so your pets can thrive! I'm currently working part-time and from home, so I have lots of flexibility to fit your pet's needs into my routine! And what better way to fill my time than helping your pet be healthy, happy, and supported! I have a fenced yard, and two friendly dogs to keep your fur-baby company. We also have an inside cat, who would love to have a friend to play with. Is your pet nervous in unfamiliar places? I'm happy to come to you! Baldar always has a great time with Nicole. He starts barking as soon as he hears her pull up the road. He sometimes looks for her, at their normal walk time, on days she isn't scheduled.

Absolutely fabulous. She brought her dog Jimmy and planned to leave him in her car, while she walked my Leo, but I asked her to take Jimmy with Leo if she thought she could handle two big dogs at once. She did. She could. My Leo had a great time and made a new friend. Perfect! The pictures were so adorable.

About: I will give your pet plenty of attention and making sure they are comfortable. I do have a full time job during the week, but all my free time is spent taking care of the pets! I love animals and have always been around them. I used to have my own dog walking business until I had moved for school. Throughout my life I have had a lot of different dogs ranging from Chihuahua to a Great Dane. I have always been in charge of taking care of the animals. Leaving your animals for the weekend or even the day is always easier when you know they are in good hands. I am very excited for this and please feel free to ask questions! Current job is Monday- Friday but the weekend are open especially if I am taking a job! Walks before or after work can always be fit in and the pets are always priority. Own home, with huge fully fenced back yard. The dogs will be inside with me and we take time to play fetch and run off energy!

About: I have been taking care of others pets for about 5 years now and have had family pets of the furry, feathered, and scaly varieties my entire life. I've mucked stalls, scooped poop, cleaned cat boxes, all of the not so glamorous parts, and have enjoyed walking, playing and spending quality time while meeting each furry friends every day needs. I currently have a French Bulldog named Sophie and a Leopard Gecko named Leo who I have loved taking care of every day! I am currently on summer vacation so I am free every day except for one vacation I have planned in August (which is blocked out on my calendar). I am able and willing to stay as many days as you need in your home any time of the week with your pets. I am very flexible with my schedule so I can extend stays if needed. I plan on getting a regularly scheduled job after summer so my schedule will be less open but after communication I can let you know if I am available or not. My basic pet care will include bringing pets to the bathroom about every 2-4 hours, feeding pets required amount told by owners, playing with pets multiple times a day, cleaning up after pets, and any other special care instructions given by owners. Care may vary depending on the type of animal.

About: I have always had pets in my home. Cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents! Love all animals! I can't imagine not having animals in my life! I've recently retired and am looking forward to doing the things I love and hanging out with animals is one of the things I love! I have helped many friends with their pets and am ready to expand my services. If I would be staying at your house I wouldn't have any other obligations to interfere with the time I could spend with your pet. If you just need visits I'm also available for that. Please contact me and we can talk about your pet family and how I can help you take care of your pet. Looking forward to meeting both of you! I'm a retired grandma with time on my hands! I love going on walks and relaxing with pets around me. I can adjust my schedule to yours! Let me know what your pets needs and wants are and that is what they will get! When I'm in your home I treat it and them as my own!

About: I've always had a deep love for animals and understand that every pet has their own unique personality, needs, and routine. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm, relaxed environment, I provide personalized care that helps them feel comfortable and safe while you're away. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including puppies, senior dogs, and pets that require medication or special attention. I pride myself on being dependable, patient, and highly communicative, providing regular updates, photos, and peace of mind throughout every stay. My goal is simple: treat every pet like they're my own and make sure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, attention, and care. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine, allowing me to provide consistent attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and last-minute bookings whenever possible. Because I prioritize quality care, I make sure each pet receives dedicated one-on-one attention, exercise, and plenty of interaction rather than simply being watched. Your pet's safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and household rules to maintain consistency and reduce stress. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I create a calm, safe, and clean environment where they can feel comfortable and secure. I pay close attention during walks, monitor behavior changes, and ensure pets are never placed in situations that could compromise their safety. I also believe communication is essential, so you'll receive regular updates and photos to stay connected while you're away.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
