About: Hi, my name is Genesis and I absolutely adore all kinds of animals. I have owned dogs and cats since I was a child, and I also worked at and managed a kennel for two years. I am comfortable with all sizes of pets! I am well experienced with feeding, handling, and medicating many different dogs and cats. I am currently a student at Grand Canyon University, majoring in Biology with an Emphasis in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. I plan on going to Vet school after I graduate! I am currently available every day except for Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have a pretty flexible schedule so I can always be there when your pet needs! I currently offer drop-ins and walks for your fur babies! I will always care for your animals depending on their needs and the owner's instructions.

About: We are a family of 3 who live in the Gig Harbor/Purdy area. Our home is located on 2.4 acres with open grass areas and a fenced area if your dog prefers to be outside. **Note: fenced area is currently undergoing some summer cleanup so dogs are not left unattended in the yard at this time. We provide a designated doggy sleeping area inside our home which includes a soft doggie bed. We will make sure your pet gets a lot of outdoor time taking walks with us. I also make homemade, healthy doggie treats to spoil them while they are vacationing with us. Your pet will be treated as if he/she was our own pet and will have plenty of playtime and attention. We love dogs and want them to feel at home in our country setting. Also we are not a large kennel, so we only have 2-4 dogs at one time which allows us to give each dog plenty of time and attention and keep things mellow for the dogs and us. We do have our own doggie Willow. She just turned 5 in July. She does well playing with dogs of all sizes. She has made many dog friends through my daycare. *Due to restrictions of our homeowners insurance, certain breeds are not accepted at this time.* I am home all day to watch and play with your pet. I rarely leave but when I sometimes have to leave for short periods, your dog will be very comfortable in our large dog crates with comfortable padded beds. Our family loves dogs and your pet will receive alot of attention and exercise. During the day they can be outside playing in the fenced area (**see above) or just hang out inside with our family, and in the evenings all dogs sleep inside the house with us. We do use crates at night for dogs that are used to that and we provide soft dog bedding in the crates. Dogs that do not prefer crates sleep on dog beds in our bedrooms so they never feel alone.

About: I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉) Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house. My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.

About: Hiya, I'm electrical apprentice inbetween jobs and eager to get some nature time in with some new doggos. I'm accustomed to walking more than 7 miles a day and love hiking with my own girl, Lucy. From horses and donkeys, to rabbits and dogs, I've been caring animals my whole life. Grew up training our family dogs as AKC therapy dogs, but now I focus on mental and physical enrichment for Lucy. I love dogs and working with them to provide them with the most beneficial walking experience in whatever way that looks for each individual dog. I'm experienced with high energy/anxious dogs, though I love working with a variety of energy levels. I do prefer medium to large dogs, but I'm open to new experiences with smaller ones. I have pretty flexable availability except Thursdays. I will require a meet and greet before committing to any bookings. I prioritize my dogs mental and physical enrichment through games, exercises courses, hiking, anything really that engages her mind and body. I am currently not looking to walk new dogs with my girl, but im not opposed to group walks in the future if I find dogs with compatible energy.

About: I saved my Chihuahua, Thistle, from a kill shelter when he was 18 months old. I nursed him through being hit by a car, helped him gain weight from being underfed, and encouraged him to be a confident dog (he was extremely anxious) through training and gentle love and care. From this, I learned how to administer medications to animals, so I can provide this kind of care to your fur babies also. My Chihuahua is now a senior dog, but you wouldn’t be able to tell with how active he is! He gets lots of walks and play time, and he loves it best when I get on the floor with him. I am comfortable getting to know your pet and giving them the level and type of attention that they need! I looked into breed specific care, and Chihuahuas have weaker joints, so I put him on a joint supplement right when I got him, and it has really made a difference in his mobility and quality of life. It’s important to administer care to animals in the specific way that is best for them! I would show the same consideration to your pet. That includes factoring in their temperament. As my dog has gotten older, his needs around personal boundaries have increased, so I make sure to check in with him before petting him, picking him up, or otherwise touching him, and I do not touch him if he gives me a no, except in an actual emergency (i.e. the animal could be hurt or hurt someone else if I do not touch them). Instead, I do something else and check in again later. This allows me to establish a real felt sense of safety and trust with your pet. I also had cats all growing up, and have a real affection for them, as well as a clear understanding of their boundaries. I would be honored to care for your pet family just as I care for mine! I currently freelance, which means I have the freedom to take care of your pets whenever you need me to. I can be flexible to your needs. As my dog is a people’s dog and not a dog’s dog, I offer my services in your home. I can walk your pet, do a drop-in visit, or housesit! I will follow your instructions to the letter, and ask about any specific or special care your pet might need.

About: I was born and raised into a family that always had a dog or cat or the combo of the two. I work in the equine facility so I'm around horse farms and they tend to have dogs and i love every one of them. I worked in a dog grooming salon for a 1½ years so I've worked with a variety of sizes, ages, and temperament of dogs. I currently work morning and evening based jobs so your pet gets my attention mid-morning to late afternoon. My schedule is super flexible and I can make adjustments to whatever the pet parent is needing. I have one dog whos coming on almost 3 years old. Shes gets along with all dogs shes been around and loves to play and keep them entertained. Pets get fed 2-3 times a day per instruction after meals we go out to play and go potty. If I have to pop out for a little while pets will be put in their safe space whether that be a crate, bedroom, laundry room ect. As soon as i return we will go out for potty and play time and they we will hang out and play until bedtime

I have a collie mix named Sadie who has taught me a lot as a dog owner. I love all pets especially dogs, and it is a joy to see a smile on a dog’s face. Daily walks and outdoor play to keep them active and happy. A dog door to our fenced yard—they can come and go as they please (safely!).
