Dog Walking Vaughn

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, energy levels, and personalities! I have personally helped with feeding, potty breaks, bathing, playtime, and giving lots of love and attention! More recently, I have helped care for an energetic Australian Shepherd and a senior Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, adapting my care to each dog's individual needs and personality. I make sure all types of dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I am currently a college student at home for the summer, so I have plenty of free time in my daily schedule to play with your pups! My schedule is very flexible, and I have lots of availability for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and giving pets the attention and care they need. I do not currently offer pet care services in my own home. I prefer to care for pets in their own homes, where they are already familiar with their surroundings and feel safest and most comfortable. I will follow each pet's usual routine and their owner's instructions closely, while providing plenty of supervision. I want every pet and their owner to feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for.

“If you're looking for a sign whether to book with Nicole or not, this is it! Nicole has been our weekly dog-walker for about a year. She is consistent, always on time, quick to respond on messages (or reach out first), and has never once cancelled on us. She sends me lots of pictures and always follows up promptly with detailed Rover cards of how the walks went and what they did. She's very focused on the dog and is excellent with my older pup, Mal. They get along like best friends and his tail is wagging when she walks in the door. When Mal had surgery and had a complicated feeding & medication schedule, Nicole didnt bat an eye and picked up the instructions with no confusion or concerns on her part. She administered everything we needed without a single hiccup! Nicole has always been friendly and calm and we feel so lucky to have found her! She will be that 'gem' that you're excited to find on Rover.”

About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs for a little over 6 years. Helping out with relatives whenever they were running errands, or staying at family friends houses while they go vacation. I, myself, have owned a couple dogs and cats and have raised them through puppy hood to seniors. Having this experience has helped me with caring for other dogs and cats alike. I currently work full time up in Uptown, Gig Harbor. I have different work schedule than most- starting usually at 4am and getting off at 12:30pm or 1pm, Some days I might work a shorter shift. Being able to get off early though allows me to spend time and care for many pets! I like to make sure that all animals are comfortable and happy, wether that be with a good walk or snuggles in the couch. It’s important that in the end all parties pet or owner are satisfied by the end of the service :)

About: Hi, my name is Genesis and I absolutely adore all kinds of animals. I have owned dogs and cats since I was a child, and I also worked at and managed a kennel for two years. I am comfortable with all sizes of pets! I am well experienced with feeding, handling, and medicating many different dogs and cats. I am currently a student at Grand Canyon University, majoring in Biology with an Emphasis in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. I plan on going to Vet school after I graduate! I am currently available every day except for Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have a pretty flexible schedule so I can always be there when your pet needs! Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.”

About: I have had dogs in my family since I can remember, including a husky, shiba inus, a rescued staffordshire terrier, red labrador, and an icelandic sheepdog. I have experience training them as puppies, including walking, tricks, and obedience. I have experience walking 2-3 dogs at once, as well as experience with elderly dogs and health issues, including a seizure disorder and asthmatic symptoms. I am currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule, and am able to prioritize your pet! I am available for walking and house-sitting or check-ins any time at the moment. Feel free to reach out and I’ll do what I can for you. At home, I prioritize my animal’s freedom and playtime as they are very energetic. While I do not board animals, I am happy to work around your schedule to make sure yours are taken care of. I can crate them, spend time outside, teach small obedience lessons or tricks to keep them busy, or provide other activities they already know in your home.
