About: I understand how nerve wracking it is to trust someone new to take care of your fur babies. My goal is to give you peace of mind and treat them like one of my own. I have taken care of my own, neighbors, and friends pets for years and am looking to expand while in school! You can expect open communication, frequent updates, and plenty of enrichment (of course some funny photos too)! I will be in school Tuesday and Thursday nights for 2 1/2 hours. Once I get the swing of things I will expand my schedule:). I care for pets with patience, attention, and lots of love. About: Hiya, I'm electrical apprentice inbetween jobs and eager to get some nature time in with some new doggos. I'm accustomed to walking more than 7 miles a day and love hiking with my own girl, Lucy. From horses and donkeys, to rabbits and dogs, I've been caring animals my whole life. Grew up training our family dogs as AKC therapy dogs, but now I focus on mental and physical enrichment for Lucy. I'm experienced with high energy/anxious dogs, though I love working with a variety of energy levels. I do prefer medium to large dogs, but I'm open to new experiences with smaller ones. As a younging I'd spend my free time researching dog breeds for fun, and before I was old enough to work on Rover, I I hung up fliers advertising my own dog walking business. Since I love dogs so much, I have heaps of experience walking and pet sitting all kinds of dogs. From my late large dog, Quiver, a Flat-coated Retriever, to a medium sized Australian Shepard, to a Miniature Schnauzer. I will dedicate 100% of my attention and time to making sure your dog is always happy and healthy! I have years of experience caring for senior dogs. When I heard about my dog’s disease prognosis, I began hand cooking him meals chock full of cancer-fighting vegetables and supplements in addition to his dry food. This included (as seen in my photos) sweet potatoes, red cabbage, broccoli, turmeric, fish oil, mushroom powder, etc. The vet had projected he would only live another 2 months, with my care and the change of his food, he lived and loved over 2 more years! So if your dog has a special diet, do not hesitate to let me know. I am currently a student who mainly works from home so I have plenty of time and a wide open schedule to care for your precious pets. My house is smoke free, pet safe and pet friendly. You can rest assured your companion is safe, cared for and happy with me. I love dogs and dogs love me!
