“Jessica is terrific!! I have a sweet dog, but she can be kinda difficult to wake up, and then she can have a mind of her own when it comes to walks (and she's a big dog). Jessica took the time needed to wake her up gently, give her a good walk, feed her, and settle her back down for her nap. I could see that my dog went on her "preferred" walks both times. And Jessica texted me throughout to let me know how things were going. I would definitely call her again (and am glad to know somebody so dependable - and whom my dog likes!. Thank you, Jessica!”

About: I have had pets all my life and love taking care of them, I’ve also dog sat and taken dogs out before for people close to me I just graduated and am looking for ways to get out of the house and make some extra money, I love to just get out of the house for even just an hour of the day! I love walking pets or letting them outside in the yard, I also like to play fetch with them and of course relaxing is good also!

About: Growing up as a farm girl taught me responsibility, patience, and how to care for animals of all personalities and sizes. I’m comfortable with high-energy pets, shy pets, senior animals, and multi-pet households. I also have experience caring for young animals, including bottle feeding kittens and providing extra attention to pets that need specialized care. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” pets — I pay attention to their routines, behaviors, and comfort so they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I understand how important trust is when leaving your animals with someone else, so I provide dependable communication, photo updates, and personalized care for every pet as if they were my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm companion, I adapt to their needs and make sure they receive attentive, reliable care every time. Pet sitting fits naturally into my weekly routine alongside my multiple part-time jobs because I’ve learned how to stay organized, reliable, and flexible with my time. My schedule varies throughout the week, but I intentionally plan ahead so I can give each pet sitting visit my full attention and consistency. Because my jobs are part-time, I have built-in availability during mornings, evenings, and flexible gaps in the day that allow me to provide dependable check-ins, walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m used to balancing responsibilities, so I’m careful about only accepting bookings I can fully commit to without rushing or cutting corners. Pet sitting is something I genuinely prioritize in my routine — it’s not just extra work, it’s time I set aside to care for animals, give them attention, and make sure pet parents feel confident and updated while they’re away. I offer flexible care depending on what works best for you and what your pet is most comfortable with. In your home, I focus on keeping everything as familiar and stress-free as possible for your pet. I follow their normal routine for feeding, walks, litter box care, medication if needed, and playtime. I also make sure they get attention and companionship so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away. I respect your space, keep things clean and organized, and provide consistent updates so you always know how your pet is doing. If care takes place in my home, your pet will be in a calm, safe, and supervised environment where they receive the same level of attention and routine-based care. I make sure they have a comfortable space, regular outdoor breaks or playtime, and a low-stress setting that feels secure and welcoming. I limit distractions and other animals as needed so each pet gets proper individual care. In both settings, my goal is the same: to make your pet feel safe, cared for, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind that they’re in responsible hands.

Honored to be the friend they call first to sit for their dogs and cats. I also have a lovely partner who is a doctor of veterinary medicine for Banfield Hospitals here in GSO. He has taught me so much more on the everyday care for our furry friends. I am so excited to extend my love and care to your pets! ** Disclaimer ** Proof of up to date rabies vaccine is required for all pets. That includes paper work and the tag. This is to insure the safety of your pets and mine. Booking will not be accepted until it is provided. Thank you for understanding! 😌 I am currently self employed and therefore my schedule is very flexible. I have No kids & only one cat. I am available on weekends as well! I can take care of most needs for your pet like, feeding, walking, & playing. I can spend more one on one time. I can help give medications if needed.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I am a lifelong pet owner who truly understands that pets are family. I have owned both dogs and cats for most of my life and currently have two Basset Hounds, Cooper (10) and Charlie (5), giving me firsthand experience caring for dogs at different life stages. Because Cooper is a senior dog, I understand the extra patience, attention, and routine that older pets often need. I am comfortable following detailed care instructions, monitoring for changes in behavior, and ensuring pets receive the individualized care they deserve. I also have experience caring for pets for friends and family, so I understand the importance of communication and providing regular updates to give owners peace of mind while they're away. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and patient. Whether your pet enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to care for your pet the same way I care for my own, with kindness, care, and lots of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work full-time from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but I have a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM that allows me to check on pets, provide potty breaks, walks, feedings, or companionship during the day. After work, I am available in the evenings to provide additional care, walks, playtime, feeding, and attention. As a pet owner myself, caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life. I currently care for my two Basset Hounds, Cooper and Charlie, and understand the importance of maintaining a consistent routine. I am committed to making sure pets receive the care, exercise, affection, and attention they need while their owners are away. In my home, my two Basset Hounds, Cooper and Charlie, have access to our fenced backyard through a doggy door, allowing them to go outside as needed throughout the day. They have a consistent routine that includes feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection and attention. When caring for pets in a client's home, I strive to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding according to their schedule, providing fresh water, taking them for walks or potty breaks, cleaning up after them, administering basic care as instructed, and spending quality time with them. I understand that pets are most comfortable when their routine remains consistent, and I will treat your pets and home with the same care and respect that I give my own.

On walks, I will keep them on leash and make sure your requests are met. For drop-ins, I will make sure they are left feeling very loved.

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors labs, my relatives cats, and a friend’s german shepherd all since I was around 15! I’ve stayed overnight, but also have just visited to walk dogs. About: I've grown up with dogs in my house for my whole life and helped neighbors out when needed. I've had dogs of all ages, ranging from puppies to seniors. In addition, I've helped out friends who have cats and often volunteer and local animal shelters with cats and dogs. At the moment, I have an extremely flexible schedule! I am available most days of the week, and I can shift around the majority of my plans if needed. Because I've grown up around dogs, I'm very experienced with dog care necessities including walking, feeding, crating, etc. Although I have never had a cat because my dad is allergic, I love cats and have helped friends take care of their fuzzy furballs more times than I can count. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
