About: Hi pet owners! I am Shelby (she/her) and I moved to the Burlington area in 2022. l grew up with a precious Yorkshire Terrier and have had experience caring for pets of all sizes and breeds. I have a calm and gentle demeanor, which helps me to gain trust with animals easily, including those who are prone to anxiety. I am happy to accommodate special requests to cater to your specific needs. I am located near Mackintosh Lake in Burlington and have miles of trails in my neighborhood to get your pet outside and moving while you are at work or out of town. I work remotely in Higher Education and have plenty of flexibility in my schedule, including early mornings, lunch, evenings, and weekends to drop in, play, or walk with your pet. When looking after your pet, I treat them and your home environment as I would my own. I value proactive communication, listening to your specific needs, and adapting my support to ensure you and your pet have a safe and enjoyable experience.

About: I graduated from North Carolina A&T with a major in Animal Science. I have a passion for dogs and I plan to become a domesticated animal vet. But over the years I have worked with farm animals, exotics and wildlife. My heart always leading back to dogs. Dogs are smart, curious and just like humans in some ways. I also have volunteered at different kennels and recuses and i am currently working at a vet hospital. Animals of all kinds are dear to my heart and I believe one day I will become the best vet I can be basic on my love, passion, and experience. I want to work with dogs for the rest of my life. I currently work part time at a 24 hour emergency vet client. So I would have lots of time to take care of your fur baby(s) I have a fenced in yard. I have two French bulldogs(my little potatoes). I have 24 hour access to a veterinary at all times. With my previous experience of working as a dog training I am able to work/help your fur baby learn/practice basic and new skills

About: I grew up on a farm with 5 dogs. When I moved to the US, I got my own puppy (a golden retriever) and I trained her myself. I have a dog myself. When my family and I got her, I signed a contract to take care of her myself. She is now almost 6 years old, always full of joy and in great health. I love to play with dogs, and get them tired and ready to take a nap! I am ready to clean after dogs if needed (in the house and outside), and take care of them no matter their needs.

About: I’ve had multiple pets since I was a toddler. I’ve had big dogs, little dogs, kittens, and cats. As of right now, I have three older cats (Lucas, Twix, and Butterfinger), and have been taking care of them for three years. I also help my aunt with her smaller dogs, by checking up on them while she’s at work and taking them out for walks. I’m currently working a part-time job, and normally have three to four days off a week to take care of pets. I also have college classes on tuesday and wednesday mornings, but I’m more free over the summer. I can also squeeze in times before i go work to do check ups and potty breaks. All of my cats are indoor, and my aunts dogs are as well. My cats have cat towers, scratching posts, and I always make sure their litter is clean and they have food and water. I also always make sure they’re loved by giving them plenty of cuddles and kisses (when they want them of course). When I take care of my aunts dogs, I take them out for bathroom breaks, clean up any messes they make, and make sure they have food and water as well. I also play with them if I have the time, and give them treats.

Hi, I am currently working part time and would love to get to help with your pets! I love all animals and have been around pets my whole life! Always making sure when outside on walks the dog/s are leashed correctly with their collars on! Making sure dogs have food and water on check ins and that they are well loved.

Overnight care: I still drop in whenever you need throughout the day, but I stay overnight to support your animals' nightly needs, whether that be cuddling or late-night bathroom runs. I follow all the rules left by you. Whatever your pet's needs are, I will supply. My personal rules and protocols are: meet and greet appointments are required, follow all established routines, create a safe environment, no new foods, and all necessities for all animals I care for must be met (food, water, and safe shelter).

I am experienced, compassionate, and patient; your fur baby getting the utmost loving and safe care is always my priority. No animal is too big/small for me! I have pets of my own so I cannot do stays at my location! I have 3 indoor kitties, they all have stainless steel litter boxes/scoops/water fountains and elevated food bowls. Boxes get scooped 2x/day and scheduled meal times are 2x/day as well. They are my world, their health is so important to me! Growing up I always had dogs that were indoor/outdoor and kennel-trained; I am prepared to enforce training upon request, give scheduled walks, and crate your dog if needed! Specific food/medicine accommodations are also no trouble for me.

I offer flexible care options—either in my safe, pet-friendly home or in yours. At my place, dogs can enjoy a spacious yard and fun playtime with my friendly Goldendoodle, Marty or solo. When I visit a client’s home, I stick to your pet’s usual routine, ensuring minimal disruption and plenty of one-on-one attention.

About: I love dogs! I have been with them since I was little . To the smallest that can fit into your purse to the biggest ones that thinks their lap dogs😂 I’m free on the weekends and very flexible within my Saturdays and Sundays. I would work around my visits then tend to my weekends plans as well. I care for my animals with love, respect, and snuggles of course! I happily get their energy out by taking them for their walks for the time you provide of course and make sure they are fed

About: Current dog mom of 2 and love to care for all animals! I’ve always grown up with a dog in the home and I began my petsitting journey at age 13 when I began petsitting for my neighbors. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, and fish. I’ve cared for dogs with extra needs (blind, anxiety, behavioral issues, etc.) and am comfortable administering medicine. I’ve watched up to 6 dogs in one household and am comfortable if more are involved! I volunteered at my local animal shelter throughout college working to socialize cats and dogs to help find their forever home! I have a large fenced in yard and live close to walking trails. My dogs are very friendly and love to be social with other, well-behaved dogs! I currently work from home 3 days a week and can offer drop-in visits before 8am or after 5pm. I’m flexible to do one time drop ins or regular scheduled drop ins! In my home, I make sure to keep your pup in a normal routine while you are away. I’m respectful and want you to come home to pup(s) just how you left them!
